Anupama update Friday 16 May 2025

The episode begins with Prem comforting Rahi, wiping away her tears and assuring her that he was present during the incident. He tells her that she didn’t slap Baa intentionally and that he trusts her. He urges her to come with him.
Meanwhile, Janki behen reminds Toshu to leave some food outside the fridge, as it will lose its taste if kept in the fridge. Toshu confirms the arrangement and says that Rahi is responsible for booking the tempo, and will handle it. He says he will lock the kitchen and head out, while Janki behen and the others leave.
Kinjal expresses concern about Baa not picking up her call, and Toshu dismisses it, suggesting she may have gone to a satsang, temple, or a friend’s house. Kinjal worries that no elderly person can bear such an insult, hoping Baa is fine.
Pakhi asks what they will tell Mummy if she calls, and Mahi replies that they should tell the truth. Kinjal asserts that Rahi didn’t slap Baa intentionally, and though they reacted impulsively, they later realized it was an accident. Mahi, however, argues that Kinjal is taking Rahi’s side.
Kinjal counters, pointing out that just because Mahi is irritated with Rahi, it doesn’t mean they should all turn against her without reason. She expresses frustration over the household dynamics, saying it feels like a wrestling ring whenever Mummy leaves.
Jigna behen arrives, asking about Anupama, and Toshu informs her that Mummy is not at home. Jigna behen lashes out, blaming Rahi for not taking her husband to the hospital sooner, and reveals that the doctor said he’s in serious condition. She curses Rahi and warns that if anything happens to her husband, Rahi will be cursed as well. The family is left shocked by her words.
Meanwhile, Prem reassures Rahi to relax, asking her to close her eyes as he drives. Rahi rests her head on his shoulder. Prem internally debates whether to share his feelings with her. Back at home, Mahi enters Ansh’s room and sees Radha, who tells her she’s waiting for Rahi to return, as she went with Prem. Mahi grows suspicious, thinking that Rahi must have taken Prem forcibly, and urges Radha to sleep.
Later, Rahi wakes up, and Prem offers her water. She suggests they head home, but Prem reveals that the jeep has broken down. Rahi isn’t scared and tries to reassure him, though there’s no network. Prem lightens the mood, joking about ghosts and spirits.
Rahi laughs, telling him not to be scared, and then gets startled, leading Prem to feel relieved that she still has some “girly” qualities. Meanwhile, Mahi tries calling Prem but gets no response. She picks up his jacket, imagining a romantic moment, only to realize it’s just a fantasy. She wonders where Prem is and why he’s with Rahi.
Prem offers Rahi his jacket, but she refuses. He insists, saying that someone in giving mode often struggles to accept help. He covers her with the jacket, then goes to gather wood for a fire. Rahi teases him about making noodles and asks him to bring water.
Prem returns from the jeep, saying there’s no water, and Rahi decides to fetch some herself. Prem prepares to go after her, though someone watches them from the shadows.
Back at home, the family is anxious about Jigna’s husband’s condition. Toshu suggests that Mummy, though emotional, is also smart. Pakhi voices frustration about Rahi causing trouble in the cloud kitchen. Kinjal mentions that Mummy doesn’t go out alone. Toshu decides to visit his friends now that Baa and Mummy are absent.
Rahi is suddenly attacked by a drunk goon who steals her gold chain and locket. She chases after him, yelling that it’s her father’s keepsake. Ansh, Mahi, and the others discuss Rahi’s whereabouts, with Mahi declaring that Rahi deserves punishment. Mahi also starts to suspect that Rahi may be in trouble.
Prem eventually returns with water from a pond, but finds Rahi gone. He discovers blood on the ground and calls out for her. Rahi is still chasing the goon, who falls and drops the locket. Rahi picks it up, but the goon demands it back. She refuses, shouting for Prem.
Prem arrives just in time to see her collapse, unconscious. He fights the goon, who manages to escape. Prem takes the locket and gently begs Rahi to wake up, vowing that if anything happens to her, he won’t survive. He ties his handkerchief around her bleeding hand, trying to revive her.
