Anupama update Tuesday 20 May 2025

The episode begins with Anupama urging Rahi to wake up. As Rahi opens her eyes, she softly says, “Mummy…” Anupama reassures her, “I’m right here,” and asks if she’s feeling okay. Rahi gazes at her and tearfully apologizes before hugging her tightly. Anupama gently pats her back while the others react with a mix of emotions. Kinjal, Prem, Ansh, and Pari appear relieved and happy, while some others remain visibly upset. An emotional Anupama embraces Rahi as the song Ungli Pakadke plays in the background.

Later, Pakhi expresses her frustration, saying their mother forgave Rahi just because she cried a little. Toshu adds that despite being arrested and humiliated, Anupama never revealed the truth to Rahi. Dolly, emotional and disappointed, says that if they had been in Anupama’s place, they would’ve rejected Rahi outright—yet she hugged her like she had conquered a battle. Pakhi bitterly remarks that no matter what Rahi does, she’ll always be Anupama’s favorite. Toshu agrees, saying even if they were as virtuous as Shravan Kumar, Rahi would still hold a special place. Dolly sarcastically suggests that Anupama might even name the house after Rahi. Toshu says something needs to be done.

Meanwhile, Mahi reflects on everything that has happened since Rahi’s return. Ansh and Pari chat about the positive changes at home. Ishu provokes Mahi by questioning if she feels insecure, warning her that Rahi might not only sideline her but also take Prem away. She accuses Rahi of being favored as a daughter but not truly deserving, insisting that Mahi, not Rahi, deserves all the love.

Anupama sits with Rahi, feeding her an orange. She reminisces how Rahi used to love oranges as a child and points out that like seasons, situations change too. Kinjal enters and tells Anupama how happy she is to see her smile after so many years. Anupama admits she feels free and relieved now, though saddened by Baa’s absence. Rahi insists she didn’t hurt Baa intentionally and promises to apologize and bring her back. Kinjal jokes that even Baa’s taunts are now missed.

Suddenly, a noise draws their attention. They find Prem handing over the “Rahi ki Rasoi” name board to an old items collector. Anupama stops him, questioning the decision. Rahi steps in and says it was her idea, asking Prem to replace it with “Anu ki Rasoi.” However, Anupama decides to combine both names—symbolically blending mother and daughter. She encourages Rahi, saying that beginnings are never easy but worth it, and together, with Rahi’s courage and her own experience, they can rebuild. They shake hands in agreement, with Prem joining in. Rahi and Prem hug Anupama, while Mahi watches on, visibly upset.

Elsewhere, Baa is staying with a friend who advises her to return home, pointing out she clearly misses her family. Baa, still hurt, insists her pride won’t let her go back. Just then, she stumbles, and Anupama catches her. As Baa prepares to walk away, Rahi appears, touches her feet, and earnestly apologizes. She admits to having deliberately misbehaved in the past but insists the recent events were not intentional. She pleads for forgiveness and urges Baa to return home. Baa coldly reminds Anupama that Rahi once slapped her, making her feel as though she died a thousand times.

Meanwhile, Radha innocently plays with soap bubbles, causing Toshu to slip. He angrily scolds her as everyone rushes in. Kinjal tells him to calm down, but Toshu lashes out, saying they shouldn’t have to deal with someone else’s child. Dolly notes Radha only sits on the swing and watches TV. Toshu threatens to call her father and send her away. Kinjal insists Anupama should decide, but Toshu refuses to wait.

Back with Baa, Anupama begs her to come home—even if she can’t forgive Rahi. She thanks Baa’s friend for caring for her and gently reminds Baa that she and Bapuji built the home together. Rahi chimes in, saying Baa’s swing is waiting. Eventually, Baa agrees to return but declares she will never forgive Rahi, no matter how nice she pretends to be. Together, they start walking home.

Prem arrives home and excitedly calls for Radha, saying he brought her a gift. Mahi reveals that Toshu, in anger, sent her back to her father. Alarmed, Prem rushes out searching for Radha. On the street, he runs into Anupama, Baa, and Rahi and tells them what happened. Anupama recalls that Radha’s father was abusive, which is why Shrishti had left him. Rahi agrees, calling him a terrible person. Anupama asks Prem to take Baa home while she and Rahi go find Radha.

Radha’s father, meanwhile, brings her to a woman who steps out of a car. The woman asks if Radha will create problems. He assures her she won’t and hands her over, saying she can use her for housework or childcare in exchange for a monthly salary. Just as the woman is about to take Radha, Anupama and Rahi arrive, rescue her, and stand in front of the car. The woman protests, but Anupama silences her, drawing the attention of nearby onlookers. Rahi furiously confronts her father, asking how he could sell his own daughter. He insists it’s just for work, but Anupama retorts that he’s robbing her of her childhood. When he tells her to restrain Rahi, Anupama warns him that if she had grabbed his neck instead, he wouldn’t even be able to breathe.
