Anupama update Thursday 22 May 2025

The episode begins with Prem telling Mahi that Anu Ma’am will always stand by the truth, regardless of whether Mahi or Rahi is right. He playfully comments that she looks cute when she’s crying and says he’s waiting for his tea. Mahi smiles, thinking about expressing her feelings for Prem to Anupama.

Anupama calls everyone for the aarti, and Mahi and Rahi join, followed by Radha, Prem, and the rest of the family. Anupama asks Rahi to perform the aarti today. Rahi hesitates, but Anupama reminds her that when she used to perform aarti, her father used to say that she was upholding good values and traditions. Rahi sings a bhajan and performs the aarti with Anupama. Anupama holds the plate and does the aarti alongside her.

Then, Anupama makes Mahi touch the plate and join the aarti. Ansh, Pari, and Ishu come forward to do the aarti with them. Baa exclaims, “Krishna Kanhaiyya ki jai!” Rahi expresses her regret, saying she knows she has troubled and hurt everyone, and asks for their forgiveness. Pari reassures her, saying, “Rahi, we love you.” Ansh also echoes the sentiment, and they all share hugs. Anupama thanks Prem for bringing everyone together, and he gives her a warm hug.

Later, Rahi ties a radium light belt to a toffee and says that when she goes out, everyone will know she’s coming. Prem notices and removes the evil eye from her. She catches him looking at her and asks if he’s there for something. He says she’s caring and wants to stay with Radha. He reminds her that she didn’t want to hurt Baa, yet it happened.

Sometimes, things go out of control. Rahi reflects on past events and Anupama’s words, thinking to herself that although Prem can be irritating, he’s also lovable. Prem then receives a call from Khalnayak, and he immediately tells the caller not to disturb him, as he has no ties with him.

Meanwhile, Mahi overhears Anupama talking about how her daughter will be happy and look beautiful wearing a dress made from Anupama’s saree. Mahi goes up to her and hugs her, saying she can’t express how much she loves her. Anupama encourages her to speak up and asks what’s stopping her.

Mahi says the truth: Rahi is her daughter, and she’s not. She admits that she tried to take Rahi’s place but failed, which is why Anupama is making a dress for Rahi. Anupama reassures her, reminding her that she chose Mahi over Rahi that day. She’s making the dress for both her daughters, not just one. Mahi apologizes and hugs Anupama. At that moment, Prem walks in, hearing the conversation, and Mahi smiles at him. She says she wants to tell him something, but just then, Rahi enters and mentions that she made sure Radha brushed her teeth, combed her hair, and went to bed.

Anupama praises Rahi for her care, and Rahi apologizes to Mahi. Mahi also apologizes, and Anupama drapes her saree over both of them, expressing her love for them both. She asks if they want to sleep here together, and they happily agree. They smile at Prem, while Mahi thinks about her love for him, and Rahi wonders why she’s developing feelings for him.

Later, Radha asks Baa what she’s doing, and Baa tells her not to trouble her. Rahi invites Radha to join her, and Anupama informs everyone that Vivaah Panchami is being celebrated in the neighborhood. Ansh asks what Vivaah Panchami is, and Radha wonders if it’s a festival. Rahi explains that it’s an auspicious day, as Lord Ram and Sita were married on this day.

Mahi adds that Anupama fasts every year on this occasion. Rahi jokingly asks if it’s because Anupama is setting up with Anuj. The family laughs at her playful comment. Mahi offers to do all the work while Anupama rests, and Baa insists that Mahi keep a fast so she can get married soon. Dolly adds that it will help reduce the crowd. Mahi quips that she’s planning to trouble her in-laws. Baa asks Ansh to keep a fast too so he can find a good girl, which he responds to by calling it selfish. Mahi silently decides to keep a fast for Prem, while Prem decides to fast for Rahi.

The family prepares for the event, and an announcement is made encouraging everyone to participate. Baa mentions that she promised the neighbors their children would perform in the play. Mahi enthusiastically suggests doing the play, and Ansh agrees, recalling their childhood memories. Anupama smiles and says they should go ahead. Rahi comments that new memories will be created.

Ishu decides to play Sita, but Ansh teases her, saying she can’t speak Hindi well. Mahi suggests she could play Sita, and Ansh offers to be Ram. Mahi suggests Prem can also play Ram. Rahi proposes they decide by drawing chits. Ansh receives a call from Saloni and gets tense.

Mahi secretly marks the chits with a dot for her and Prem’s names, thinking she must cheat in Kalyug to win Prem’s heart. When it’s time to pick, she draws the marked chits and announces that she will be Sita, and Prem will be Ram. Prem looks upset, but Mahi insists she’ll make a great Sita. Anupama calls Rahi to join them.

Janki behen and others visit the cloud kitchen, where Rahi apologizes for her past actions and offers to touch their feet in apology. Anupama thanks them for coming and shares the good news that Jigna’s husband has come out of the coma and is recovering. The ladies are relieved, and Anupama asks them to forgive Rahi if they can. Janki behen, however, says she can’t work with Rahi because of her past mistakes.

Rahi pleads with them not to leave, telling them that the cloud kitchen, named Anu ki Rasoi, was built by them, and they are irreplaceable. Janki behen agrees to work only under Anupama’s supervision. Rahi promises that Anupama will take all the decisions, and the women get back to work. Meanwhile, the family members prepare their costumes, and Pari teasingly asks Mahi why she’s blushing. Mahi denies it. Ansh receives another call from Saloni, which distracts him. The ladies continue preparing, and Anupama advises Rahi to be patient and apologize daily. Rahi nods thoughtfully.
