Jhanak update Friday 23 May 2025

The episode begins with Brij Bhushan expressing his wish for Jhanak to marry Aniruddh. Shocked, Jhanak firmly tells him to stop, saying that even thinking about such a thing is wrong, and she is not like Srishti to do something deceitful. Just then, Aniruddh arrives. He tells Jhanak that Srishti had lied to him, and now, it’s also his fight. Brij Bhushan encourages Jhanak to accept Aniruddh’s support, saying there’s nothing wrong in it. Aniruddh vows to stand by the truth and reveals that Shubhankar is fighting on Srishti’s behalf.

Brij Bhushan points out that Srishti has never acknowledged Jhanak as her daughter, but he won’t allow her to win this battle. He says all he wants is for Jhanak to have a peaceful life. Aniruddh tells Brij they must prove that Srishti and Tejas were behind the attempt on Jhanak’s life. He even suspects Arshi may have been part of the plan. Jhanak is stunned to hear this. Aniruddh advises Brij to hire a lawyer, noting that only he can go up against Shubhankar. Brij agrees with his plan.

Meanwhile, Dr. Anirban calls Shubhankar to complain about Mimi. Shubhankar puts the call on speaker. Tanuja questions what’s happening, and Dr. Anirban responds that Tanuja must be too busy to realize Mimi’s antics. He explains Mimi’s actions, prompting disbelief from Bipasha. Shubhankar assures Anirban he’ll talk to Mimi. Tanuja suggests finding a suitable match for Mimi. Arundhati comments on the kind of things she’s being forced to hear at her age.

Back with Brij and Jhanak, Brij once again mentions how Srishti never accepted Jhanak as her daughter. Jhanak insists that Urvashi is her true mother. Aniruddh tells her she can finally be happy once Srishti is out of her life. Brij goes inside, saying he needs to consult a lawyer.

Jhanak worries about Arshi’s feelings. Aniruddh tells her he has already confessed his love for Jhanak to Arshi. He asks if Jhanak doesn’t believe in his love and says he knows she loves him, too. Jhanak says she doesn’t want to be responsible for breaking someone’s marriage. Aniruddh responds that she isn’t to blame for anything and that while Arshi is his responsibility, Jhanak is his love. He believes loving her is not wrong. Jhanak pleads with him to let her go.

Aniruddh insists he wants to live with her, but if that’s not possible, he at least wants to be by her side during difficult times. Jhanak warns that Arshi would be devastated if she finds out about them. Tearfully, she confesses her love for Aniruddh, acknowledging his feelings too. Aniruddh becomes emotional, admitting how it hurt him to see her with someone else and how she was always on his mind—even when he was with Arshi. Overcome with emotion, he hugs her and cries.

Elsewhere, Srishti visits Shubhankar in his office. She asks for a favor—his legal help. He agrees to support her. Srishti insists that all the accusations against her are false and blames Jhanak for everything. Shubhankar says he doesn’t believe in the accusations and promises to help her win the case.

Srishti says she wants to prove Vinayak wrong, calling Brij and Jhanak liars. She even insinuates that Urvashi might have had affairs with both Brij and Kul Bhushan. Shubhankar tells her not to hide anything from him if she truly wants to win. When he asks if she knew Brij Bhushan, she lies and denies it. Shubhankar, however, suspects the truth—he believes she is indeed Jhanak’s mother. He reassures her they’ll win the case.

Meanwhile, Choton tells Mrinalini he wants to marry her. She replies that she needs time to think.

Shubhankar warns Srishti that if her name gets caught up in a scandal, it will damage his family’s reputation too. He asks if she has proof of where she was during the missing year. She replies that she was attending a workshop with Guruji. When he asks about Urvashi, Srishti admits Urvashi was also working there at the time. On the subject of Jhanak’s disappearance, she claims she only spoke to Tejas once—just to request him to take Jhanak away so that Arshi could peacefully settle with Aniruddh. She confesses she still wants revenge.
