Saras and Kumud update Sunday 25 May 2025

The episode opens with Kusum searching for Saras. She says, “I have to apply color to you—where are you?” Ghuman secretly follows her. Kusum questions some children about Saras’s whereabouts and then goes to Yash to ask him. Yash replies that he hasn’t seen him. Just then, Badimaa notices Kusum and asks who she’s looking for. Kusum says she’s looking for Saras. Badimaa tells her that Saras went to the terrace.

Kusum then spots Danny and applies color to him, mistaking him for Saras. She says, “You’re here, don’t go away from me. Stay close—I miss you.” Ghuman, watching from a distance, is stunned, thinking Kusum is deeply infatuated with Saras. She decides to bring Danny there to reveal the truth. Meanwhile, Kusum says “I love you,” and Danny responds, “I love you too.” Ghuman is shocked when Kusum hugs Danny, realizing she had mistaken Danny for Saras. Kumud captures the moment on camera and playfully teases them.

Kumud says she’s going to show the picture to everyone. Noticing Ghuman, Kumud asks, “You’re here?” Ghuman replies she needs to talk to Kusum. She then questions Danny, reminding him he had gone to get a camera. Danny explains that Kumud told him Saras had already brought it. Danny then asks Kumud to hand the camera to Ghuman. Kusum, in high spirits, tells them she’s happy and feeling great. She shows the photo to Danny.

Just then, Saras arrives calling out for Kumud. Kusum applies Holi colors to him. Saras, puzzled, asks if someone gave Kusum bhaang (a festive intoxicant). Danny denies it, and Kumud insists she didn’t either. Saras asks who did, while Kusum laughs joyfully. Kumud jokingly asks Saras if he’s the one responsible. Danny says he doesn’t suspect Saras.

Saras tells Danny to take care of Kusum, as she’s his wife. Ghuman watches the scene, clearly envious of their happiness. She thinks to herself that while Kumud is maintaining the family bonds, she will make sure to take her son (Danny) away with her—it’s her promise. Meanwhile, Ghuman overhears Kalika talking to a man about a loan. Kalika is alarmed when she sees Ghuman listening in.

Kusum happily wishes Saras “Happy Holi” for the 26th time, making everyone laugh. Kumud and Danny help the overly joyful Kusum to her room. Kusum says, “We’re all flying—I won’t go up!” Saras smiles at her antics. It’s a sweet and light-hearted moment. Kumud notices Ghuman watching and smiles knowingly, while Ghuman thinks to herself that she will prove her suspicions.

Later, in their room, Danny and Kusum talk. Kusum says she isn’t under the influence of bhaang. Danny gently tells her to close her eyes, reassuring her that he’s with her. He says, “See, we’re in our room.” Kusum smiles and says, “Yes, you’re a magician! We’re home. Come, let’s go to the moon!” Danny chuckles and says, “We’ll go tomorrow, but for now, you need rest.” He offers to bring her lemon water. She stops him, holding his hand and saying, “When I look at you with love, you seem so sweet—and even more adorable when you’re stubborn.” She begs him not to leave and says, “I want to see you in my dreams. I love you, Danny.” She closes her eyes, and he replies, “Whenever you say that, it feels like the first time.” She falls asleep.

Elsewhere, Saras comforts Kumud, telling her not to worry about Kusum—she’s fine. Kumud considers telling him about Ghuman but holds back, fearing it might complicate things. Saras leans in closer. The song “Mann ke Dor…” plays in the background. He says, “I told you—the color of my love won’t fade so easily.” Kumud smiles.

Meanwhile, Kabir arrives and greets Danny, asking about Kusum. Danny says she’s asleep and feeling better. He adds that he needs to talk to Kabir. Saras appears and says he was just thinking about Kabir. Kabir brings sweets and exchanges a subtle look with Ghuman, which Kumud notices in the mirror. Kabir acts warm and friendly, saying he won’t leave until their father is well, and he’s thinking of staying longer. Saras agrees, saying he had a similar feeling when they first met—that there’s a connection between them.

Saras invites Kabir to join the family business, saying their previous worker left and they need help. Kabir says only he knows when that worker will return. Saras asks Kabir to join, saying, “You’re already like family to us.” Kumud watches quietly. Saras confidently states, “I know your answer is yes.” Kabir replies, “When do I start?” Saras says, “You already have. I’ll meet you this afternoon.” He tells Kabir to have breakfast and expresses his happiness about his decision. Saras later tells Danny, “Dad will be so proud of you.”

After Saras leaves, Danny tells Kabir it’s good that he’s joining the factory. But he also tells Kabir not to proceed with anything without Saras’s approval and to cancel their deal. Kabir protests, saying he’s already invested and the meeting is scheduled for tomorrow. Danny apologizes, but Kabir says he took a loan and can’t back out. He insists he’ll manage on his own. Danny, feeling conflicted, says he’ll talk to Saras and agrees to proceed with the project. Kabir smiles in satisfaction. Danny asks when the meeting is, and Kabir says it’s tomorrow. Danny, hiding the truth, lies to Kumud about it.
