Saras and Kumud update Monday 26 May 2025

The episode opens with Saras at the construction site, speaking with the site manager. He receives a call from Kumud, who says she needs to talk to him. She brings up his recent decision to involve Kabir in the business and expresses concern, saying he seems to be trusting Kabir too quickly.

Kumud adds that Kabir’s expressions make her uneasy, and she feels he’s hiding something. Saras defends Kabir, calling him talented, and insists he doesn’t doubt his intentions. He gets irritated with Kumud’s suspicions. Nearby, Ghuman overhears their conversation. Kumud tells Saras she’s heading home for a few hours. Ghuman smirks to herself.

Meanwhile, Danny is lost in thought, reflecting on Saras’s advice and Kabir’s earlier claim about taking a loan for the project. Ghuman approaches and asks about Kusum. Danny tells her that Kusum is resting due to a headache. Ghuman hands him a tiffin, saying Saras hasn’t eaten and Kumud isn’t home.

Danny is pleased by what he believes is Ghuman’s care for Saras and agrees to deliver the food, saying he’ll inform Kusum. Ghuman tells him to let Kusum rest and offers to inform her herself. Danny leaves, smiling.

Ghuman goes to Kusum’s room and checks on her. Kusum says she has a headache and doesn’t recall drinking bhaang. Ghuman invites her to the temple for an aarti and says she has made a mannat (offering) for her and Danny.

Kusum smiles, and Ghuman hands her a saree to change into. As Kusum prepares, Ghuman secretly hides her phone under the pillow and calls Kalika, confirming if everything is ready. Kalika says yes. Ghuman replies, “Good, we are ready too.”

While heading to the temple, Kusum realizes she can’t find her phone. Ghuman assures her she’ll arrange for her to speak to Danny. Suddenly, Ghuman pretends to have forgotten the offering and says she’ll go back and bring it. Kusum offers to get it, but Ghuman insists that since it’s her mannat, Kusum should go ahead to the temple while she retrieves it.

Meanwhile, Danny arrives at the school construction site with the tiffin and tries calling Kusum. He assumes she’s still asleep and recalls some of her recent words. He notices a woman in a saree similar to Kusum’s and assumes it’s her.

Thinking Ghuman may have told Kusum he was on-site, he calls Ghuman to confirm. She denies telling Kusum anything and abruptly ends the call. Danny becomes suspicious, thinking Kusum might be lying to him. He wonders why she would do that.

Danny observes the woman hiding her face and walking away. He questions why she’s avoiding him and why she met Saras in secret. Suspicion creeps in again. Suddenly, he sees some goons grab the woman, and he believes Kusum is in danger. Ghuman calls again, but he quickly brushes her off, saying some men have taken Kusum.

Danny rushes to help and confronts the goons, only to discover the woman is Kalika, not Kusum. The goons claim Kalika owes them money and demand payment. Just then, Ghuman arrives and pays them off, forcing the goons to leave. Danny’s misunderstanding is cleared. He asks why she gave them money. Ghuman says they were dangerous, and she didn’t want him getting hurt.

Saras appears and demands to know who the goons were and why Kalika borrowed money. Kalika panics, unsure how to explain her involvement in illegal betting. Danny asks what she’s doing there. Saras again urges her to tell the truth.

Ghuman intervenes and says they can question her later. Saras asks Kalika what she was doing at the site. Ghuman explains that Danny thought Kusum was in trouble, but she had actually gone to the temple, which is why she came. Danny questions why Kalika is wearing a saree identical to Kusum’s.

Kalika lies, saying it’s just a similar one she bought and that she stopped by the site to check on the work. She also falsely claims to have returned the money to the goons. Saras isn’t convinced and feels something is off. Danny realizes with guilt that he wrongly suspected Kusum and Saras again.

Outside the temple, Kusum waits for Ghuman and sees Danny arriving. She greets him with a smile. Danny, feeling remorseful, tells her he doesn’t deserve her love and apologizes for doubting her. Kusum reassures him, saying that when no one believed her before, he stood by her. She adds that she’s happy with him and urges him not to let doubt cloud their relationship again.

Back at home, Ghuman scolds Kalika for failing in their plan. Kumud witnesses Ghuman talking to Kalika, who is still wearing Kusum’s clothes. Kalika pleads for one more chance. Ghuman warns her not to speak of this to anyone and dismisses her. Kumud becomes suspicious, wondering why Kalika is dressed like Kusum and what Ghuman is doing with her.

Later, Kumud returns home, visibly upset. Saras notices and apologizes for his earlier harshness. He acknowledges that it’s been a strange day and tells her everything that happened, including Kalika being at the site and the confrontation with the goons. Kumud is shocked. Saras says it’s fortunate he and Danny were there; otherwise, things could have turned worse.

Meanwhile, Ghuman, frustrated that her plan failed, wonders if Kabir will come through for her. Just then, Kabir calls and says, “I must have a long life—you were thinking about me, weren’t you?” He informs her that Danny is having his first business meeting without Saras. Kabir predicts that once Saras finds out, it will create a rift between him and Danny, pushing Danny closer to her.

Kabir teases her, saying she can thank him after the job is done—and then she must fulfill her promise to him. Ghuman asks what he wants. Kabir cryptically replies that he’ll tell her once everything is over. As Ghuman holds a red saree, Kabir comments, “Red suits you,” shocking her. She looks around, unsettled. He laughs and ends the call with, “Take care, bye.”
