Sacred Love update Thursday 29 May 2025

The episode begins with Ranbir expressing his thoughts, saying it’s unfair to judge someone without truly knowing them. He then surprises everyone by confessing that he already likes someone. Zoravar, confused, asks him to explain. Ranbir reveals that during his time in Darjeeling, he stayed with a Bengali family and grew fond of their daughter. He describes her as incredibly beautiful and admits he wants to marry her.

Dadu immediately disapproves of the idea. Ranbir questions the reason for his objection, asking if it has anything to do with Bua’s past—was her husband a Bengali man? Meher tries to brush the topic aside, but Ranbir insists that what happened in the past was wrong and that the blame lies with the family. Zoravar argues that their cultures are different. Frustrated, Ranbir says if everyone has an issue, he won’t go ahead with the marriage.

Harman tries to mediate, saying they should be supportive if Ranbir truly likes someone. Ranbir talks about Chandan, the girl’s father, and mentions his humble profession. Dadu scoffs, assuming this means they’re not wealthy. Dadi, however, says she has no objection. Bua, curious, asks to see a picture of the girl. Ranbir agrees excitedly, saying she’s very beautiful.

Meher then tells Ranbir to give her the girl’s parents’ contact number so they can speak to them. She suggests they can visit and meet the girl themselves—if they like her, it’s fine; otherwise, they’ll reconsider. Ranbir gratefully thanks her. Dadu remains opposed, leading to a disagreement with Dadi. Meher urges him to let go of past grudges and give this relationship a chance. Dadu, feeling unheard, complains that no one listens to him now that he’s old.

Balveer points out that if Ranbir leaves the house to marry against their wishes, it could tarnish the family’s reputation. Zoravar confronts Ranbir about his sudden declaration, and Ranbir calmly reaffirms his feelings. He hands over the contact number, while Param and Harman continue to tease him.

Later, Meher brings pakodas for everyone and turns to Ranbir with a smile, asking what made him fall so hard for this girl. Ranbir dodges the question, telling her to visit and see for herself. Meher agrees. Harman asks if she has called the girl’s family yet, but Meher says it’s too soon. Simran expresses concern about what to tell Mr. Sethi, whom Meher had initially chosen. Ranbir reminds them that there are other eligible men in the family.

Param jokingly responds, asking if Ranbir is suggesting he should marry her instead. Everyone laughs. Meher scolds them, saying women shouldn’t be treated lightly. Param admits he’s currently unemployed, lacks big ambitions, and is only here because of Maasi’s support—though he just recently landed a job. Harman insists he’s not jobless, and Meher calls Param “mad” affectionately.

Ranbir encourages Param to follow his passion. Meher, meanwhile, says they’ll support Ranbir only if they like the girl. Ranbir insists they definitely will, saying they’ll be singing her praises once they meet her. Harman teases him, reminding him he’s only known the girl for a short while.

Ranbir continues to praise Meghla, highlighting her simplicity and sincere heart. Meher tells him to calm down and jokingly says she regrets sending him on that trip. Ranbir laughs and reminds her that she was the one urging him to get married in the first place. He urges her to learn more about Meghla and confidently promises that once she does, she’ll approve wholeheartedly.
