Jhanak update Wednesday 4 June 2025

The episode begins with Jhanak crying for Brij. He tells her, “I warned you, they didn’t let me live. You take care, Jhanak. They won’t leave you.” Jhanak desperately shouts for help. Brij weakly asks her to call Anirudh, as only he can help her. She insists on taking him to the hospital, but Brij urges her to call Anirudh instead. As he drops his hand, Jhanak calls out to him, “Papa…” and breaks down in tears. She then quickly calls Anirudh.

Anirudh, who is in his room, picks up the call and hears Jhanak crying. Concerned, he asks if she’s okay and whether she has reached home. Jhanak, sobbing, tells him, “My Papa… someone shot him!” Anirudh is stunned, asking in disbelief, “What? Who did this?” Jhanak replies, “I don’t know, the goons ran away.” Anirudh, shaken, tells her, “I was afraid this would happen. I told you I should’ve dropped you.” But Jhanak insists, “No, they would’ve killed you too!” She continues, “He’s in my lap, he’s bleeding.” Anirudh, still in shock, tells her to stay calm and calls for an ambulance as he rushes out, shouting for Choton. He urgently informs him, “An accident has happened!”

Meanwhile, Arshi comments that Jhanak will manage on her own, but Anirudh dismisses her, “I don’t have time. I need to go. Brij is shot!” Shubh tries to stop him, saying, “Brij isn’t related to me!” Anirudh snaps, “I don’t have time for this. I’m going!” Anjana asks where the accident happened, and Anirudh gives them the details, saying, “We can save him if he’s alive. I’m going there now.”

At the same time, Kajal suggests that Lalon contact the commissioner for help, but Lalon refuses. Anuradha supports Kajal, and they both try to convince him to perform with Appu at the concert. Anirudh’s anger flares as he confronts Arshi, “Are you saying your mother hired a shooter to kill Brij?” Arshi is stunned by the accusation, and the family argues back and forth. Anirudh, standing firm, says, “I believe there’s still goodness in this house,” despite their opposition. Tanuja retorts, “Jhanak has poisoned your mind!” Anirudh sharply replies, “I can’t explain to you what Jhanak means to me.” He turns to leave, saying, “I’ll go where I’m needed.”

Back with Jhanak, she is still holding her father, calling out for help. The police arrive, and the inspector orders the body to be taken to the hospital. Jhanak angrily protests, “He’s not dead! Don’t say that!” She continues to cry, pleading for Brij to come back to her. Lalon, witnessing Jhanak’s pain, urges Kajal to give him some time. But Kajal insists on taking Appu to the concert, and eventually, Lalon agrees.

At the hospital, Anirudh and his team arrive. Anirudh calls out, “Jhanak!” She begs him, “Please save my dad!” She tells him, “We were planning to leave the city, start a new life in Mumbai. We wanted to build our own world.” Anirudh’s heart breaks as he listens. He promises her that he will do everything he can to save Brij.

Meanwhile, at Shrishti’s house, Vinayak arrives with unsettling news. He accuses her of being involved in Brij’s shooting, calling her a murderer. Shrishti reacts, pretending to be shocked by the news, “It’s not proven yet!” But Vinayak is certain, “You’re guilty, and you erased all the proof!” Shrishti denies the accusation, insisting that it’s all lies.

Back with Jhanak, the police question her, asking about the incident. She explains the details, still in shock. Anirudh reassures her, “We’ll take him to the hospital. We can save him if we hurry.” Jhanak, tearfully, pleads with him, “Save him, and I’ll leave the city forever.”

As the group rushes to transport Brij to the hospital, Choton consoles Jhanak, saying, “Nothing will happen to him.” But Jhanak is overwhelmed with emotion, still holding on to hope that her father will survive. Anirudh stays by her side, vowing to fulfill Brij’s wishes. Jhanak, through her tears, says, “You mean my dad isn’t alive?” Anirudh replies, “I didn’t say that.” The scene ends with a feeling of uncertainty, as the characters brace for whatever comes next.
