Jhanak update Thursday 12 June 2025

The episode opens with Aditya announcing that Jhanak has agreed to marry him and live with him. Anirudh watches Jhanak silently. Bipasha, observing Anirudh’s reaction, warns that they need to be cautious and make sure Jhanak doesn’t catch on to anything. Anirudh mentions that Jhanak hasn’t spoken to him.

Aditya says she’s just anxious and advises Anirudh not to discuss anything with her. He promises to look after her and help her achieve fame. He invites Anirudh to visit them in Mumbai. Jhanak walks around giving aarti to everyone. When she approaches Anirudh, he stops her and tells her to give the aarti to Aditya instead, saying that they are now separated. Jhanak is confused, but Anirudh walks away.

The next day, Aditya welcomes Jhanak, Anjana, and Bablu at a party. Jhanak declares that she will work hard, be independent, and seek justice for her father. Lalon and Appu also arrive. Aditya hints at a surprise planned for the evening, asking for patience. Appu runs over to Jhanak joyfully.

Choton and Mrinalini greet Jhanak as well. Anjana asks Mrinalini when she plans to come home permanently. Mrinalini playfully replies that she’s waiting to be taken home. Anjana agrees, teasing her, while Choton shyly walks away. They all share lighthearted moments as Appu joins their conversation.

Aditya welcomes Anirudh and his family. Anirudh mentions he received the invite late but is happy to attend as a guest. Aditya says he wanted to host them for a small pre-wedding ritual. Jhanak, overhearing this, becomes uneasy and begins to question Aditya’s intentions. Dadi encourages Aditya to get married and even suggests they finalize the match soon so everyone can travel to Mumbai for the celebrations. Aditya smiles and thanks her.

Dadi boldly suggests Aditya marry Jhanak. Aditya laughs it off and says he’ll speak to her privately. He then calls Jhanak and Anirudh over for an announcement. Bipasha and Arshi grin with anticipation.

Aditya gathers everyone and announces a pre-engagement ceremony. He says that he and Jhanak have decided to hold a few functions here before continuing with the rest in Mumbai. Mrinalini looks confused and asks what he’s talking about. Jhanak, equally puzzled, says she doesn’t understand what’s going on. Aditya pulls out a ring and says he wants to formally propose to Jhanak. Everyone claps.

Stunned, Jhanak asks what’s happening. Aditya tells her not to be shy and admits he didn’t inform her earlier about the ring. He adds that she had sent him messages expressing her wish to settle down with him, and since he’s in love with her, he’s taking that step. Jhanak is shocked and looks to Anirudh. She denies sending any such messages. Aditya shows her the texts and insists she check them herself.

Dadi dismisses Jhanak’s hesitation, urging her not to be modest. Shubh jumps in, claiming that Jhanak’s true character is now revealed. He insults her publicly. Anirudh coldly says if this is what she wants, then let the celebration continue.

Jhanak, visibly upset, declares she’s not a toy to be passed around and that no one can make decisions for her without her consent. She insists she never sent those messages and calls the whole thing a cruel joke. Aditya challenges her by asking if she’s accusing him of lying.

Shubh accuses her of trying to manipulate the situation, claiming she neither wants respect nor commitment—only opportunities. Arshi declares Jhanak is no longer seen as noble or virtuous, just someone who failed. Bipasha agrees, saying Jhanak is just creating drama now after playing with Anirudh and Aditya.

Jhanak tearfully says again that the messages weren’t sent by her. Bablu supports her, saying she’s telling the truth. Aditya says he wouldn’t come just to be humiliated if it weren’t real. He adds that he was ready to accept her out of love and honesty, but now feels insulted. He claims she still loves Anirudh, and he had only stepped forward after receiving her supposed messages.

Mrinalini suggests that someone else might have sent the texts from Jhanak’s phone. Appu immediately accuses Bipasha, saying she must have done it, insisting Jhanak wouldn’t act this way. Aditya questions the idea but seems unsure. Bipasha denies the accusation, asking who else would want to use Jhanak’s phone. Jhanak says her phone isn’t always with her and she would never commit to a relationship she doesn’t want.

Tanuja criticizes the claim, saying educated people wouldn’t tamper with someone’s phone, and accuses Jhanak of seeking sympathy. She calls out to Anirudh, asking for his view. Anirudh responds coldly, saying things will eventually settle when Jhanak and Aditya go to Mumbai and spend time together—suggesting she’s just nervous in front of everyone.
