Anupama update Saturday 14 June 2025

The episode opens with Rahi giving Mahi a bangle and telling her that their mother had bought it especially for her. Mahi happily accepts the bangle and puts it on. Rahi assures Mahi that she won’t reveal anything to Prem and will respect the fact that he’s her future brother-in-law. Mahi agrees and later shows the bangle to Prem.

Meanwhile, Anupama notices Rahi wearing the bangle and applies a warm cloth to ease her discomfort. She asks Rahi why she forced herself to wear something that clearly didn’t fit her. Rahi explains that the bangle was meant for Mahi, and it suited her better.

When Anupama asks if Rahi is in pain, Rahi admits she is, both physically and emotionally, but she hesitates to speak the full truth. She fears that if she opens up, it might cause damage. Instead, she hugs Anupama and expresses her concern about making mistakes that would disappoint her.

Anupama reassures her, saying Rahi is loved by all and is incapable of doing anything wrong. Rahi confesses that she feels overwhelmed by the pressure to replace Mahi and be a good daughter. Anupama lightens the mood by joking that Rahi can take her as part of her dowry. They both laugh, and Rahi assures her that everything will eventually be fine.

Later that night, Rahi sees Prem asleep on the stairs. She gently covers him with a blanket and lights a fire to keep him warm. When Prem wakes up, he questions whether they are doing the right thing by hiding their feelings and lying to everyone.

Rahi reminds him of the circumstances and tells him that since he chose to support Mahi, he should stay true to that decision. Prem responds that emotions don’t follow logic. Their shared moment is interrupted when Ansh witnesses them together and becomes furious. He confronts Prem, accusing him of being disloyal to both sisters.

Prem tries to calm him down, but Ansh grabs his collar and challenges him. The commotion wakes everyone. When Anupama asks what’s going on, Prem brushes it off as a “boys’ matter.” Ansh refuses to keep quiet and accuses Prem of two-timing—pretending to be committed to Mahi while getting close to Rahi.

Mahi, shocked, defends Prem, but Ansh continues. Rahi steps in to clarify things, explaining that she was on her way to meet Kaveri when she saw Prem shivering and covered him with her shawl. She insists they were only talking about Mahi. While Pakhi and others acknowledge how it might have looked inappropriate, Rahi sincerely apologizes, saying her intentions were pure.

Baa insists that Rahi must maintain boundaries with Prem, reminding her of the role of a sister-in-law. Mahi says she trusts Prem completely. Baa mocks her and leaves, while Prem feels insulted by the whole situation. Rahi blames herself for not being able to stop the situation from escalating and struggles with her emotions. She’s frustrated by her feelings for Prem, even though she keeps pushing him toward Mahi.

Elsewhere, Anupama is seen talking to a client over the phone about money matters. She then sees a priest and is surprised. Baa explains that she called the priest for two reasons: to determine a suitable engagement date for Prem and Mahi, and to check the compatibility of their horoscopes. Anupama is confused as the wedding is already fixed, but Baa insists on avoiding future risks.

As the priest checks horoscopes, he predicts a wealthy marriage for Ishani. When it’s Pari’s turn, she declines to show her hand. Finally, Mahi and Prem sit down for the priest’s reading. Ansh hopes Prem is exposed, while Pari secretly wishes the match gets rejected. Mahi fears bad compatibility, and Prem is nervous about being discovered. Rahi, on the other hand, prays that their horoscopes match.

To everyone’s surprise, the priest announces that Prem has a “Maharaj Yog” in his chart but also reveals that his and Mahi’s horoscopes do not align at all. He warns that their marriage would not bring happiness and advises against it. Mahi challenges the priest, saying relationships are built by people, not lines on a palm. She also points out that his previous predictions haven’t always come true.

Despite Baa’s warnings that marrying Prem could ruin Mahi, Mahi insists she will only marry Prem—or not marry at all. Anupama supports her and asks the priest to give an engagement date. He suggests one in two days. Baa, though upset, gives in. Mahi thanks Anupama and excitedly includes Rahi in the wedding preparations, asking her to come shopping and apply mehendi with Prem’s name.

After the reading, the priest privately tells Anupama that while Prem and Mahi aren’t a good match, Prem and Rahi are a perfect pair—like Ram and Sita. He apologizes for being blunt, and Anupama is left stunned by this revelation.
