Saras and Kumud update Saturday 14 June 2025

The episode opens with Saras informing the inspector that Kumud is missing. Instead of taking it seriously, the inspector mocks her divorce from Pramad and remarriage to Saras. He questions Saras sarcastically, asking if they had any arguments or if Kumud had an affair. Saras gets furious at the insinuation.

The inspector accuses Saras of making his wife “disappear” and pretending to be innocent. Danny intervenes angrily, scolding the inspector, who in turn threatens to bring up Danny’s name in a past drug case. Saras warns the inspector that he will escalate the matter to the SP. Kabir steps in to de-escalate the situation and requests the inspector to at least file the missing person report.

Meanwhile, at Sunanda’s house, a maid brings food for Kumud and is shocked to find the room empty. She immediately alerts Sunanda. However, Kumud is hiding behind the door and dashes out. When Sunanda reaches the room, she sees the broken window and realizes Kumud has escaped. She instructs her men to stop Kumud from getting out of Chandni Bazaar.

Kumud, confused and desperate, runs into the streets. After tripping and narrowly avoiding a car, she’s recaptured by Sunanda’s goons. Despite her screams for help, no one comes to her aid. Sunanda scolds her and coldly declares that no one leaves without her permission, saying she will personally drop Kumud home—though her intentions are clearly sinister.

Back home, Saras urges everyone to return while he continues to investigate through the taxi driver. Danny, though visibly torn, leaves with Kabir and Kusum. Kabir returns to the family, who are distraught. He informs them that Kumud is not in Ratnagiri and assures Guniyal that they’ll find her soon. He promises to bring Kumud home safely. Meanwhile, Kalika is secretly pleased, believing her malicious wishes are finally coming true.

At home, Danny is deeply worried and breaks down thinking about Kumud. Kusum comforts him as he blames himself for not believing her earlier. She reassures him that Kumud will return unharmed.

Saras meets with the taxi driver, but he still has no leads. Determined, Saras tells him he’ll wait for the taxi that dropped Kumud, refusing to go home without her. As he sits alone, the song O Piya… plays, and he imagines Kumud walking away, prompting him to call out her name in anguish. A passerby checks on him, but Saras brushes it off.

Back in captivity, Sunanda brings Kumud food and tells her to stop crying. Kumud is devastated. After locking the door again, Sunanda gets a call from Ghuman, who is furious. Sunanda informs her that Kumud had tried to escape, but she was caught and brought back. Ghuman threatens her, but Sunanda asserts that she won’t spare Kumud now.

Kumud, alone and heartbroken, stares at the untouched food and recalls Saras and their love. Elsewhere, Saras anxiously watches each taxi that arrives, disheartened that no one has seen Kumud.

Back at home, everyone prays for Kumud’s safety. Vidyachatur expresses concern for Saras, urging Guniyal to support him. When they go to check on Saras, Kusum says he hasn’t come home yet. Saras eventually returns, visibly exhausted. The family makes him sit and Kusum gets him water.

Saras explains that he searched everywhere but found no trace of Kumud. Guniyal gently asks what his heart tells him. Saras remains silent, and she comforts him by saying her heart believes Kumud will return—especially for him.

Danny leaves the room, upset. Meanwhile, Ghuman reflects that while people believe love can overcome even death, this time, the crisis might be worse than death itself.
