Jhanak update Friday 20 June 2025

The episode begins with Jhanak declaring that she has decided to marry Anirudh. Bablu responds calmly, saying it’s her life and she’s free to make her own choices. He expresses how he once considered her like a daughter, but now he feels she truly is his own, which is why he won’t stand in the way of her marriage. Jhanak is left stunned by his heartfelt words as Bablu quietly walks away.

Meanwhile, Arshi turns to Anirudh and asks if he plans to invite her to the wedding. She says she’ll attend if he does. Anirudh gently asks if they can at least remain friends, explaining that her friendship still means a lot to him. Arshi firmly refuses, stating that friendship is no longer possible. He was once her husband, and now she can’t even bear to look at him. She coldly wishes him well with Jhanak and refuses his offer to drop her home, calling him a stranger. Though Anirudh apologizes and asks for forgiveness, Arshi tells him she will never forgive him—because forgiveness won’t undo the damage. She walks away, unmoved by his remorse.

Later, Jhanak confronts Arshi, telling her that breaking her relationship with Anirudh was never her intention. She pleads with Arshi to understand the reasons behind her sudden decision. Arshi mocks her, accusing her of stealing everything—from being a maid to becoming the mistress of the house. She claims Jhanak can never love Anirudh the way she does, because he is still her husband. Jhanak firmly replies that Anirudh is her love. Arshi bitterly tells her to celebrate her victory, but Jhanak calmly says Arshi is free to meet Anirudh whenever she wishes. Arshi scoffs, calling it all an act.

Jhanak reminds her that she had once left both Anirudh and Arshi behind and gained nothing in return. Arshi accuses her of trying to create distance between her and Srishti. Jhanak defends herself, saying she only stood up for the truth and for Urvashi’s justice. She insists that Srishti—Arshi’s mother—should not be forgotten. Jhanak even offers Arshi the chance to reopen the case, but refuses to fight back this time. Arshi accuses her of seeking sympathy, but Jhanak enigmatically says everything will fall into place soon. Internally, Jhanak decides that if Anirudh recovers, she will return him to Arshi. Infuriated, Arshi pushes Jhanak and storms away.

Downstairs, Arshi seeks blessings from Arundhati. With sorrow, Arundhati says they never wanted Arshi to leave and holds Anirudh responsible for the fallout. Shubh looks on sadly, commenting that the “Lakshmi” of their house is leaving. He shares an emotional story with Arshi. She lashes out at Bablu, sarcastically asking if he’s pleased now and tells him to go ahead with the wedding arrangements. Bablu tries to explain that she’s misunderstood him—he never wanted any of this to happen. Anjana adds that they tried to stop Jhanak, but she wouldn’t listen.

Anirudh then steps in and says the decision to marry Jhanak was mutual. Shubh urges him to stop aggravating the situation, while Tanuja lashes out, calling Anirudh shameless. Laal advises Arshi to look after herself. Shubh warns Anirudh that Jhanak will eventually destroy his life, though he stops short of asking him to leave the house. Tanuja blames Jhanak for driving Arshi away and questions how she can possibly protect Anirudh.

Jhanak stands firm, stating that she never wanted to hurt anyone and insists that one day, the truth will come out and they’ll all understand she made the right choice. Once more, Anirudh offers to drop Arshi home, but Shubh cuts him off, saying the drama needs to end. Anirudh asks him to stay out of it, but Arshi steps in and tells them to stop. She then tells Anirudh and Jhanak to live their lives however they want—and leaves.
