Jhanak update Saturday 21 June 2025

The episode opens with Arshi telling Jhanak not to create a scene. She insists she isn’t taking Anirudh with her and questions what Jhanak is trying to prove. “He is yours, and you trust him,” Arshi says. Jhanak replies that her reason isn’t what Arshi thinks. Arshi assumes Jhanak believes her parents might try to manipulate Anirudh but assures her that no one needs to accompany her. She then leaves.

Lal mocks and insults Jhanak, causing Anirudh to get angry at Shubh. Bipasha questions Anirudh, asking if Jhanak is blackmailing him. He denies it. Shubh also claims not to understand what’s happening. Tanuja and Shubh press him, asking again if Jhanak is threatening him. He firmly says no, explaining that Arshi is going out alone and, as a responsible person, he feels obligated to drop her. Jhanak tells him to take care, and he replies kindly, urging her to do the same before leaving.

On the way, Arshi and Anirudh talk. He admits feeling conflicted, explaining that he’s trying to fulfill his responsibilities. Arshi accuses him of being in love with Jhanak. Anirudh agrees but adds that he’s still trying to do the right thing by her as well. She tells him it’s unnecessary. Internally, he regrets not being able to explain things to her. When they return home, Shrishti confronts them, questioning whether Arshi deserves such treatment. Arshi stops her, saying she can’t take any more—Anirudh confessed he wants to marry Jhanak and spend his life with her. She acknowledges that they can’t force him to stay with her, so she set him free. Arshi breaks down in tears.

Anirudh tries to console her, but Shrishti lashes out at him, calling him shameless and saying he’ll never be happy. Arshi begs her mother to stop, asking whether her happiness would mean anything if Anirudh is miserable. Vinayak then steps in, saying that while he always supported Anirudh, he believes he has now made a mistake. Anirudh admits he knows this but says he has no choice. Shrishti questions why he needs to marry Jhanak. Arshi stops her again, saying she doesn’t want to be embarrassed any further—Anirudh is free to live his life.

Anirudh tells Arshi he still feels responsible for her. Shrishti says Arshi has her parents to look after her and tells Anirudh to inform them if he needs anything. Vinayak adds that he and Shrishti supported the marriage and now feel betrayed as Anirudh wants to leave Arshi and separate.

Meanwhile, Tanuja, Bipasha, and Lal express their anger and resentment toward Jhanak. Tanuja suggests they find a way to throw Jhanak out of the house before Anirudh returns.

Vinayak tries to reason with Anirudh. Arshi says Anirudh doesn’t even acknowledge their marriage—it was never registered, so legally, he is a free man. She admits she has no rights over him, as they were merely in a live-in relationship. Shrishti is stunned and asks if Anirudh said that. Arshi confirms it and says that, for her, the deception was necessary.

Anirudh tells them he never wanted to hurt anyone. Arshi says he can’t keep both her and Jhanak happy and that she will accept the pain and humiliation. However, she advises him to be sure whether he can truly be with Jhanak or not. Shrishti tries to shift the focus away from Jhanak, but Arshi blames Jhanak for destroying her life. Vinayak stands with Arshi, mentioning they are waiting for a court verdict and hoping Shrishti gets justice. He insists that Arshi doesn’t deserve this kind of betrayal.

Anirudh confesses that he didn’t want to hurt Arshi, but he’s helpless and finally admits: he loves Jhanak.

Lal refuses to believe it and recalls how Anirudh once risked his life to bring Jhanak back when they tried to separate them. Lal and Bipasha comfort a distressed Tanuja. Anirudh defends Jhanak, saying she never deserved the disrespect she faced from the family.

Shrishti accuses him of marrying Jhanak just to give her dignity. Arshi interrupts her. Anirudh apologizes to everyone, but Shrishti vows he’ll face consequences. Anirudh says he’s ready for any punishment. Arshi tells him he won’t be punished and urges him to move on with his life. She even says she’ll attend his wedding if he invites her. She asks him to leave, saying Jhanak didn’t want him to come because she feared they might change his mind.

Anirudh replies that Jhanak had another reason but doesn’t explain further. Arshi insists he should go, and he finally leaves.

The next morning, Aditya calls Anirudh. He says they need to act fast to protect Jhanak. Aditya shares that someone close to Kul tried to get information and learned there’s a plan to kill Jhanak, just like her father. She’s not safe. Anirudh panics and asks what they should do. Aditya advises him to keep Jhanak at home and stay vigilant. He adds that if their enemies find out Anirudh is marrying her, they might back off out of fear that she could file a legal case against them. He urges Anirudh to marry her and make the news public.

Anirudh, filled with worry, asks how he can live under such pressure. He says injustice has already been done to Jhanak, and she has every right to fight for justice. Just then, Jhanak walks in and overhears the conversation. Anirudh tells Aditya that it’s her decision to seek justice.
