Jhanak update Monday 23 June 2025

The episode opens with Choton standing firmly in support of Anirudh and Jhanak’s marriage, defending Jhanak against family criticism. Tanuja loudly declares that she will never accept Jhanak as her daughter-in-law, while Dadi laments that she wishes she had passed away before witnessing these events. Anirudh makes it clear that everyone must attend the wedding. He warns that he has a backup plan and will not tolerate any further disrespect toward Jhanak. With that, he takes Jhanak along.

Meanwhile, Shrishti asks the doctor to examine Arshi. Arshi admits she already took a home pregnancy test, which was positive, but Shrishti insists on a professional checkup. The doctor agrees to perform the test. During the examination, Arshi reveals to the doctor that she and Anirudh no longer have any relationship. The doctor is surprised and asks for clarification.

At the same time, Mrinalini confronts Jhanak, questioning if Anirudh forced her into agreeing to the marriage. Jhanak denies this, saying she agreed willingly. Choton questions why Jhanak is behaving this way, and Mrinalini insists that Jhanak accompany her to her house. Choton defends Jhanak, saying that Anirudh and Arshi’s separation was not caused by Jhanak. Mrinalini expresses sympathy for Bablu and Anjana. Choton counters, saying Anirudh wouldn’t have survived if Jhanak hadn’t agreed to marry him, and Jhanak admits she did it out of love for Anirudh. Mrinalini warns her not to explain further.

Arshi, meanwhile, reflects on how relationships can break suddenly. The doctor asks her to explain, and Shrishti reveals the full situation. Arshi admits that Anirudh is now with someone else. The doctor advises her to stay positive, focus on her health, and maintain a proper diet. Arshi agrees to undergo the tests.

Outside, Appu tries to leave the house to meet Jhanak but is stopped by Jhimli. They argue, and Appu loudly calls for Anuradha. Jhimli mentions Appu’s past attempts to run away and asks Anuradha to either control Appu or send her back home. Appu insists she will wait until Jhanak comes to see her. Anuradha tries to persuade her to come along. Appu inquires about Lalon’s job, and Anuradha confirms he has one, advising her to ask him directly when he returns. Hearing this, Appu is pleased.

Back inside, Choton reminds Jhanak that she gave Anirudh a new lease on life when Arshi left him. Jhanak says she loves Anirudh and did everything to save him, though she feels sympathy for Arshi. Choton encourages her to unite with Anirudh. Mrinalini also advises Jhanak, while Shrishti acts innocently, stating her only wish is for Arshi’s happiness. Choton tells Jhanak it’s her decision to make. Feeling guilty that a relationship is breaking because of her, Jhanak breaks down in tears. Choton urges her to speak with Anirudh, but Jhanak says her only hope is for him to stay alive.

Arshi completes her tests and returns. The doctor asks if the news is good, and Arshi confirms it is. The doctor explains her symptoms indicate pregnancy and reassures her that she will have a healthy, happy baby. Choton questions Arshi on what she will fight for if she believes Anirudh will bear the sorrow and die. He expresses his hope to see Anirudh and Jhanak happy and together. Jhanak remains hopeful, saying everything will be fine, and then she leaves. Mrinalini questions her intentions, but Jhanak dismisses it and walks away.

Later, Lalon returns home. Appu complains that he didn’t inform her about his job. Lalon admits he hasn’t found one yet but promises he will someday. He shares that meeting Appu brought him real happiness, making her blush. They laugh together. Jhimli arrives and jokes about Lalon’s job status. Lalon playfully offers chocolates to Appu, hugs Jhimli, and says he will buy sweets, inviting her to come along. Appu insists on joining, but Lalon tells her to enjoy the sweets without worrying about money. Anuradha informs Appu that Jhanak called while she was sleeping. Appu quickly answers the call and smiles as she talks to Jhanak.

Jhanak, lost in thought, recalls Anirudh. Mrinalini finds her and encourages her to stay happy. She reminds Jhanak that she agreed to the marriage for Anirudh’s sake. Jhanak confirms this but admits Mrinalini might regret her decision later. Mrinalini asks if Anirudh forced her into agreeing. Jhanak says no, but she can’t reveal what he told her because she promised not to share it. However, she feels suffocated and wishes she could confide in Mrinalini. Mrinalini insists she won’t tell anyone if Jhanak opens up.

Overcome with emotion, Jhanak cries, confessing she doesn’t want Anirudh to leave her. Mrinalini asks why she’s so afraid. Jhanak reveals that Anirudh has been by her side constantly and is battling a life-threatening illness.
