Jhanak update Tuesday 24 June 2025

The episode begins with Jhanak confiding in Mrinalini that Aniruddh is suffering from a fatal illness. When Mrinalini questions why the rest of Aniruddh’s family remains unaware, Jhanak explains that Aniruddh has chosen not to reveal his condition to them. He wants to spend his remaining days with her, which is why she agreed to marry him.

Upon being asked about the nature of his illness, Jhanak reveals that Aniruddh has cancer. She says she is honoring his last wish, but also shares her heartbreak as everyone she loves seems to be leaving her. Tears flow as she expresses her sorrow. Mrinalini admits she is at a loss for words and feels deeply sorry for Aniruddh. Jhanak adds that Arshi is unaware of the truth, and that her main goal is to protect Aniruddh.

Meanwhile, Bablu tells Aniruddh that everything is progressing quickly. Aniruddh responds that he doesn’t have much time left. Choton questions Bablu’s sudden dislike of Jhanak, to which Bablu replies that since Arshi has left, Aniruddh has the right to be happy. Bablu blames Jhanak for Arshi’s departure, but Aniruddh insists that he loves Jhanak. Lalon urges Bablu to support the couple and reminds him that Jhanak has no one else in the world.

Jhanak tells Mrinalini that she is determined to fight for Aniruddh’s survival. She says she does not care about the insults or hardships she faces; this marriage is a battle for her. Nothing else matters more than Aniruddh. Mrinalini reassures her that she will succeed, and praises Jhanak for doing the right thing by prioritizing Aniruddh’s happiness.

Lalon talks to Bablu, expressing that he doesn’t believe Aniruddh is wrong to marry Jhanak. He points out that while Arshi has everyone, Jhanak stands alone. Apu arrives and questions Aniruddh about why he sent Jhanak to Mrinalini’s house. Aniruddh replies that Jhanak will return before the sangeet ceremony. Apu jokes that Jhanak will finally get to enjoy some good food after a long time, lamenting how they have fallen on hard times and how Lalon remains unemployed.

Aniruddh asks Lalon why he hadn’t informed him earlier. Lalon explains that Apu is his responsibility and that he will take care of her. Bablu comments that singing at events won’t be enough and Lalon really needs a steady job. Apu adds that Lalon’s family was once wealthy, but Shubhankar ruined them financially. Aniruddh asks for clarification, and Apu reveals she overheard a conversation between Anuradha and Kajol.

Lalon suggests postponing the discussion for later since the focus should be on the wedding. Apu insists they will perform together, but Lalon refuses and threatens to leave if she doesn’t listen to him. Apu begins to cry, but Bablu comforts her, assuring her that Lalon loves her and won’t leave. Apu counters that Aniruddh loves Jhanak.

In the meantime, Mrinalini encourages Jhanak to smile for Aniruddh, saying that God is testing her. Jhanak wonders how many challenges she must endure and vows to leave only once Aniruddh recovers. Mrinalini advises her not to speak so negatively, assuring that Aniruddh and Jhanak will live happily together.

Elsewhere, Tanuja tells Shubhankar that Bablu has started supporting Aniruddh. Shubhankar calls Aniruddh shameless. Bipasha asserts that Jhanak will never be happy. Tanuja asks if they can evict Jhanak from the house, but Bipasha doubts its possibility. Shubhankar senses that something bad may happen soon.

Vinayak tells Arshi that Aniruddh must be informed about her pregnancy. Shrishti agrees, adding that even Jhanak should know, since Aniruddh might deny the child later.

As Jhanak and Aniruddh prepare for their sangeet ceremony, Apu compliments Jhanak and mentions that she invited everyone to attend. She urges everyone to smile and tells Anjana to welcome Jhanak, as she is becoming part of the family. Aditya arrives, surprising Jhanak.

He tells her he wouldn’t miss her special day for anything. Jhanak calls him her special friend who always supports her. Aditya announces the start of the sangeet, and Apu encourages Aniruddh and Jhanak to dance. During the dance, Aniruddh kneels and presents a rose to Jhanak.

Arshi arrives with her parents and congratulates Aniruddh. She then asks whether he will accept responsibility for her unborn child, shocking everyone present.
