Jhanak update Sunday 29 June 2025

The episode opens with the lawyer introducing two local guides who will help him navigate the area. He assures Jhanak that they’re trustworthy—they assisted in uncovering Kul’s whereabouts—and can be counted on here as well. Jhanak thanks the lawyer, admitting she wouldn’t have known about her inheritance otherwise. He says he’s honored to help, especially given his respect for her father, Brij. He adds she’s welcome to live in the property if she wishes. Jhanak notes that it’s away from the city, but the lawyer reminds her that in addition to a new home, she’s also being offered work. She smiles, expressing that living there will help her feel close to her dad.

Elsewhere, Sameer meets Lalon and others at home, telling them they no longer have to worry—they can live on their own terms now. Anuradha asks what he means. Lalon mentions he’s been searching for a job. Kajal is busy gathering food and groceries for Appu when Jhimli begins an argument. Anuradha urges calm, asking her to behave. Jhimli starts blaming Appu’s family, but Appu defends her parents, saying that if Shubh did wrong, he deserves punishment. The dispute grows, and Anuradha feels embarrassed, lamenting that she doesn’t know who started influencing Jhimli to act this way.

Lalon suggests Kajal skip future grocery runs, but she insists they’re friends and want to help. Anuradha says she’s heading to work and that she doesn’t want Kajal to shoulder Appu’s care; Appu’s illness makes timely meals essential. Lalon then asks Sameer for a job opportunity. Sameer responds by handing him legal documents to sign. Lalon signs, and Sameer explains that the paperwork is a legal notice led by the city’s top lawyer, ensuring Lalon will receive his rightful share—specifically demanding Shubhankar Bose return the money he took.

Back home, a different lawyer arrives with a legal notice addressed to Shubh. Anjana offers him tea. Shubh opens the envelope, reads it, and bursts into anger. Anirudh arrives downstairs just in time. Shubh angrily accuses Lalon of trying to take over their home, saying he resentfully sent the notice. Bablu looks confused, while Arshi asks what’s happening. Shubh blames Lalon, claiming the money used to build the house came from his father’s work. Anirudh recalls Appu’s accusations and says he sensed this would happen. Shubh accuses him, saying Anirudh is complicit. Anirudh snaps back, saying that Jhanak taught him to stand up for what’s right—even though she’s no longer around. He tells Shubh to handle his own problems and return the property if he’s wrong.
