Saras and Kumud update Sunday 29 June 2025

The episode begins at the police station, where Kumud, Saras, Kusum, and Kajal give their statements against Sunanda. Jugnu and Majnu stand by as silent witnesses. An unknown man watching the scene turns out to be Sunanda’s informant. He quickly alerts her that the girls have spoken to the police and that Saras and Kumud are involved. Shocked by the news, Sunanda panics.

The inspector thanks Saras for supporting the girls and calls them brave. Acting on the statements, the police organize a raid on Sunanda’s residence. However, by the time they arrive, Sunanda has already escaped. The inspector promises to find her soon, but Saras warns that if she remains at large, she may endanger the girls’ lives.

Jugnu suggests contacting people who might know her whereabouts. Everyone starts making calls, including Majnu. Jugnu finally receives a lead and informs the police. Sunanda is hiding in a remote, warehouse-like location. The police search the place but fail to find her, assuming she has fled the city. Once they leave, Sunanda cautiously steps out—only to be confronted by Saras and Kumud.

Terrified, Sunanda pleads with Kumud to not hand her over to the authorities, promising never to return to her old ways. She begs for mercy, insisting Kumud has her husband now and should feel compassion. When Saras asks the inspector for a few minutes alone with her, the officer agrees.

Kumud questions Sunanda’s conscience—whether she ever felt pity for the innocent girls she exploited. She offers a deal: cooperate with them to reduce her punishment. Sunanda hesitates but agrees when pressured. She begins revealing Ghuman’s long-buried secret.

Sunanda narrates how Ghuman once brought a young boy to Daima and instructed her not to ask questions about the child’s name or background. Ghuman said she couldn’t achieve her goals if the child lived and insisted Daima keep both the baby and the secret safe. A flashback shows Daima accepting money from Ghuman.

However, before Daima could harm the child, Menka intervened, offering double the money and taking the baby instead. Daima, baffled, said one sister wanted the child dead while the other wanted to raise him. Menka replied that some bonds form through life, not blood. After that day, Sunanda never saw Menka or the baby again and claims not to know what happened next.

Saras and Kumud press her for more details, but Sunanda insists that’s all she knows. She admits that both Ghuman and Menka paid her regularly to stay silent—Ghuman to keep Kumud at her place and Menka to conceal the baby’s existence.

After confessing everything, Sunanda begs once more for forgiveness. Saras, unmoved, instructs the inspector to arrest her. As she’s taken away, Sunanda lashes out at Jugnu for betraying her and glares at Kusum and Kajal.

Once she’s gone, Saras tells Kumud that he never accepted Ghuman as a mother—and after what she did, he can’t even call her a woman. He reveals that she used fake documents to seize the haveli and vows to expose her. But Kumud reminds him that their priority is discovering the truth about the child before confronting Danny.

At home, Ghuman tries to maintain her facade in front of Danny, offering him food and acting motherly. She pretends to be concerned, saying she didn’t want to evict Kusum’s family but now wants the house back. Danny, remembering Kabir’s warning not to reveal the truth yet, stays quiet. He apologizes and claims he’s tired of the drama and wants to rest.

Meanwhile, Kajal and Kusum hug Kumud, grateful for her courage. Kumud thanks them for their bravery and says she now has “two Kusums.” Jugnu expresses regret for not realizing sooner that Kumud was married, asking for forgiveness. Majnu says Saras and Kumud have already forgiven him.

Kumud asks the girls where they’ll go next. Kajal replies they will finally return home after a long time. Saras hands Jugnu and Majnu his contact card, offering them jobs at his Ratnagiri factory whenever they’re ready. Both express their gratitude.

At the Desai house, Badimaa is worried, wondering about Saras and Kumud’s whereabouts. She receives a call from Saras, and Kumud speaks to her through tears. Badimaa asks if she’s okay, and Kusum joyfully announces that Kumud is on her way home. The whole family rejoices. Kumud speaks emotionally with everyone—Kusum, Vidyachatur, and Guniyal. Saras promises they’ll be home by morning and comforts Kumud as she cries in his arms.

Badimaa begins planning their welcome. However, Yash’s mother reminds her that they are supposed to vacate the haveli. Badimaa says they’ll deal with that later; for now, the family reunion is what matters.

The next morning, Menka and Kabir are seen talking. Menka questions Kabir’s strategy. Kabir explains that Ghuman believes she has the original property papers and trusts him—but he’s already handed them to Danny. He makes it clear that his only enemy is Ghuman, not the Desai family, and she’ll soon get what she deserves. Menka, satisfied, says she’s returning to Dubai and plans to claim everything that once belonged to Ghuman. However, someone is secretly eavesdropping on their conversation…
