Saras and Kumud update Tuesday 1 July 2025

The episode begins with Saras gazing at Kumud, silently taking in her presence. As he closes his eyes briefly, Kumud notices his expression and softly says his name. Concerned, she asks what’s troubling him. Saras opens his eyes and responds with admiration, telling her she looks stunning. He pleads with her not to leave his side for as long as he lives, embracing her tightly. “How many times must we be separated?” he says. “Not again.” Kumud becomes emotional and begins to cry.

Saras gently asks if something is on her mind. Kumud reveals she’s been thinking about Kabir. Saras admits his confusion, unsure of Kabir’s true motives. Kumud expresses her doubts, reminding Saras that she had warned him against trusting Kabir. She then shares everything she’s recently uncovered: Kabir orchestrated Danny’s involvement in the drug case only to free him later, staging the entire scenario. She also reveals that she saw Kabir with Menka—they act like strangers at home, but clearly know each other well. Saras is stunned and asks why she didn’t confide in him earlier. Kumud explains that no one would have believed her. Saras wonders aloud why Kabir would go to such lengths to help them if he’s deceiving them. Kumud admits she doesn’t understand either—it just doesn’t add up.

Elsewhere, Kabir meets Ghuman and tells her their “dream world” is about to begin—just the two of them. He asks her why she looks worried, to which she responds that she’s simply excited. He agrees that it will be fun and tells her to pack quickly while he finishes his tasks. Just then, he spots Menka and greets her casually. Menka replies she’s doing fine, and Kabir explains to Ghuman that he was just delivering some official documents. After he leaves, Ghuman looks at Menka with suspicion and curiosity.

Ghuman questions Menka about Kabir, asking her opinion of him. Menka deflects, saying Kabir is Ghuman’s friend, and she doesn’t know him well enough to judge. When Ghuman presses further, Menka announces that she’s leaving for Dubai—there’s nothing left for her to do here, and she misses her home. Ghuman acts friendly, offering to make tea for her. Menka is surprised by this sudden warmth and questions Ghuman’s intentions. Ghuman brushes it off, saying she’s just being hospitable since Menka is leaving. But when Ghuman spots Menka’s phone and sees something on it, her expression changes to one of shock and anger.

Back at the Desai house, Yash asks Vidyachatur about Saras and Kumud. Danny joins them and hugs Yash. Vidyachatur confirms they arrived that morning and are doing well, promising to talk more later. Yash says he was genuinely worried.

Suddenly, Yash’s mother brings up the property papers and suggests transferring the haveli to Yash’s name. The entire family is stunned. Yash is appalled by her greed and scolds her, reminding her that they are a united family and shouldn’t be divided by property matters. He expresses his disappointment and apologizes to the family. Vidyachatur tells Yash to respect his mother but also defends Danny and Saras, explaining that both went against Ghuman and could never betray them. He reassures her that when the time is right, everything will go to Yash. Yash’s mother is pleased and leaves, while Kalika silently mocks her in her mind.

Kalika then schemes how to save herself after stealing jewelry and gambling it away. She laughs to herself, deciding to frame someone else. She retrieves the jewelry from her cupboard and heads to Kusum’s room. Seeing that Kusum isn’t there, she attempts to hide the jewelry, but just then, Kusum enters looking for Danny. Kalika quickly hides under the bed. Kusum notices the drawer open but doesn’t see Kalika and leaves.

Kalika then sneaks into Yash’s mother’s room, pretending everything is normal. Meanwhile, Kusum finds Danny feeling low and tries to lift his spirits. She encourages him to open up. Danny confesses that he misses his mother and once believed she loved him, but now feels betrayed. He breaks down, saying he cannot forgive her. Kusum comforts him, reminding him that no matter what, Ghuman is still his mother. Danny is surprised that Kusum is so compassionate despite everything Ghuman did to her. He hugs her tightly.

Elsewhere, Menka realizes her phone is missing and becomes anxious—if Ghuman saw it, she might discover the truth. Just then, Ghuman returns with tea, her face smug and voice laced with sarcasm, making Menka uneasy.
