Jhanak update Friday 4 July 2025

The episode opens with the goons bringing food for Jhanak, but she refuses to eat and angrily tells them to leave. An argument breaks out. Lalon declares that everyone can stay in the house—except her. Bipasha accuses him of trying to kick them out. Lalon responds that although he’s not throwing them out today, he very well could, considering how they used to insult him. He claims the entire locality is watching and that the house now belongs to them. Lal tells Lalon to watch his tone, but Lalon firmly replies, “This is our house now, Maa.”

Anjana protests, saying they can’t stay there under such circumstances. Lalon says that’s their choice, but insists that Shubh will not be allowed to stay.

Choton tells Lalon to do as he pleases. Lalon and Appu plead with Anirudh not to leave. Shubh laments that Lalon harbors deep hatred toward him. Lalon retorts that Shubh disgusts him. Meanwhile, Jhanak lectures the goons, who claim they’re only doing this for the sake of their family. She urges them to change their ways, but they laugh at her. Jhanak tells them they can kill her if they want, but she won’t ever beg. Tanuja accuses her of involving the police. Sameer says Lalon is just claiming what is rightfully his. Shubh offers a cheque. Sameer insists he hand it over properly. Lalon demands respect and humility from Shubh, who struggles to contain his anger. Appu gleefully accepts the cheque. Anjana scolds her, and Tanuja scolds Anjana. Anjana defends herself, saying she raised her daughter to avoid greed and jealousy.

Fed up, Shubh announces he’s leaving the house. He says he just wants to collect his belongings and expects no one to stop him. Lalon assures him he can return to visit his parents whenever he wants.

Tanuja urges Rumi to stay behind and says they’ll check out the new flat. Lalon blames Shubh for their misfortunes and says his mother still works because of Shubh’s arrogance—people should learn humility. Shubh mocks Bablu, prompting Lalon and Sameer to remind him the house no longer belongs to him. Jhanak again tells the goons to leave. One of them challenges her to think carefully. She declares that if dying is her fate, so be it. One of the goons threatens her.

She stands up to them, calling them cowards. They laugh, surprised at her courage. She continues to argue defiantly. Dadi calls out to Shubh to come and see her, but he refuses, saying he’s now seen who truly stands by him. Mrinalini tells him they won’t support him in what she considers theft. Instead, she suggests he work hard and buy the house back from Lalon. Tanuja blames Bablu and Anjana. Bablu defends himself, saying he has always stood by Shubh, even if Shubh doesn’t acknowledge it. Choton urges everyone to put aside their egos.

Lal promises to stay in touch. Appu tells Bipasha to go with them. Eventually, Tanuja and Shubh leave the house. Dadi is left in tears. Jhanak still refuses to eat, and the goons finally leave. Alone, she thinks about her fate. She feels abandoned, betrayed by Anirudh’s lies, and wonders if she should give up—but quickly decides she must try to escape.

Meanwhile, Shrishti visits Vinayak and asks him to hear her out. She reveals that Lalon has thrown Shubh and Tanuja out of the house. Vinayak is shocked and can’t believe it. She insists it’s the truth.

Lalon has a conversation with Anirudh, who acknowledges Lalon has reclaimed what was his. Anirudh shares that Arshi is pregnant and that he knows he can’t live with them in their new flat. Appu insists he shouldn’t go there anyway. Arshi apologizes for not contributing financially and tells Anirudh he should pay the family since his father already has. Lalon argues that the money was owed to his mother and justifies his actions.

Anirudh encourages Lalon to live well. Lalon agrees and says he eventually plans to bring everyone back once they understand their mistakes. Appu mocks Arshi. Arshi warns her not to insult Anirudh’s wife, but Appu backs off and says she’ll be nice. Arshi is skeptical, but Lalon defends Appu’s honesty. Appu even offers to be friends with Arshi and play with the baby. Arshi leaves in frustration. Appu remarks that Arshi never changes.

Lalon reassures Anirudh. Anirudh says he’s not upset—they still have a flat and aren’t homeless. Lalon says if they can return someday, Jhanak will also be welcome back. Anirudh disagrees, saying Jhanak will never return. Appu is surprised and asks how he knows. Anirudh replies that the situation is complicated.

Suddenly, Anirudh gets a call from Aditya, who tells him Jhanak is missing. He explains she went for an audition and never came back for her look test—she hasn’t been seen in two days. Anirudh asks if he should come help, but Aditya says he’s trying his best and promises to keep him informed. Lalon and Appu ask what’s going on, and Anirudh solemnly says that Jhanak has disappeared.

Meanwhile, Jhanak looks for a way to escape. She notices the goons asleep, seizes the opportunity, and quietly slips out.
