Jhanak update Tuesday 8 July 2025

The episode begins with Vihaan reassuring Jhanak that she now has a place to stay and won’t be alone. He mentions that he’ll arrange someone to help take care of his baby but also asks her to take up that responsibility in the meantime. Offering her financial support, Vihaan asks how much money she would like in return for her help. Jhanak humbly refuses, saying she doesn’t want any money—she already has shelter and food, and that’s more than enough. Vihaan appreciates her sincerity and asks her to look after his child.

Akshat comments that Jhanak is fortunate to have come into Vihaan’s life and urges her to accept the arrangement. Jhanak wonders whether it’s right to move into Vihaan’s home under the guise of being his wife, but given her circumstances, she feels she has no better option and agrees.

Meanwhile, at Vihaan’s family home, Sejal makes a snide remark, predicting that Vihaan’s wife will be arrogant. Another woman replies that it’s too soon to judge her. Sejal insists that Vihaan’s wife should take on all household duties. Just then, Ketki arrives and overhears the conversation. When asked, she pretends they were simply discussing food preparations. However, Ketki quickly admits she’s thinking about Vihaan’s so-called wife and firmly states that the woman must handle all domestic responsibilities. She’s visibly bitter and adds that this girl has trapped her innocent son, and she won’t allow her to bring shame to their family.

Vihaan’s father tries to offer a more balanced perspective, suggesting they give the girl a fair chance. But Ketki is too upset to listen. She’s convinced this new woman is responsible for keeping Vihaan distant from the family. Her husband reminds her that she never accepted Vihaan’s previous marriage either. Still, Ketki remains defiant. The discussion then briefly shifts to Priyanshi’s education, with Ketki arguing against her attending college, but her husband insists on at least letting her complete school.

Back at Akshat’s house, his wife expresses support for Vihaan’s decision and encourages Jhanak to accept the offer. She tells Jhanak she’ll eventually be grateful for this opportunity. Akshat echoes her thoughts, confident that Jhanak will thank them one day.

Elsewhere, Shubh and Tanuja return to the Bose house along with Lalon and Appu. Lalon asserts his authority, announcing that Bablu and Anjana should no longer perform any chores, as the house now belongs to him. He warns everyone not to force Anjana into any work.

Lalon begins assigning household roles. He says Tanuja will be responsible for managing the kitchen, and Anjana will not assist her. Tanuja protests, saying she doesn’t know how to cook and can’t manage the kitchen alone. Shubh suggests they hire a cook, but Lalon flatly refuses.

Meanwhile, Jhanak is seen gently caring for Vihaan’s baby. The child smiles at her, and she feels a sense of connection, as if the baby has chosen her. Moved by the moment, she finally decides to accept Vihaan’s proposal. She tells him she’s ready to follow the house rules and adapt to his family. Vihaan thanks her and assures her that she doesn’t need to be afraid—he’ll always stand by her. Jhanak reflects deeply on her decision and what lies ahead.
