Lost in Love update Friday 11 July 2025
Teju quickly realizes it’s Neel who’s been fiddling with the microphone wire and immediately confronts him, asking what he’s doing there. Neel attempts to explain his connection to Rituraj, but Teju interrupts, assuming he’s just another overzealous fan. Irritated, she blames him for ruining her chance to meet Rituraj and get his autograph, as well as for disrupting her opportunity to speak with him. Disappointed and frustrated, she walks away.
Meanwhile, Mohit pays a visit to his parents in Nagpur. They remark on how seldom he comes to see them. Mohit responds that his work keeps him occupied. His mother, however, suspects that he’s still harboring resentment over being pressured into marriage. In a sarcastic tone, Mohit offers to quit his job and stay home, daring them to manage without his support.
His father responds that if they were truly self-sufficient, they wouldn’t have asked for his help in the first place. Noticing the tension, Mohit’s mother gestures for him to give his father some money. Mohit obliges and hands over ₹35,000. Still, his mother comments that the amount isn’t enough in today’s economy. When his father asks what he does with the rest of his income while living alone in Amaravati, he also reminds Mohit of Aditi’s impending marriage. His mother adds that due to Aditi’s mental health condition, no one is willing to marry her.
At that moment, Aditi enters and warmly greets her father. Mohit affectionately gives her a bunch of chocolates. Shortly after, Teej returns home and greets Mohit, asking if he will stay for Mahashivratri. Mohit declines, claiming he has a picnic planned with colleagues.
However, Aditi quickly calls out his lie. Annoyed, Mohit scolds her for speaking out of turn and disrespecting her elders. Lakshmi steps in and rebukes Aditi as well, saying she wanted her to study so she could marry, rather than remain unwanted by her husband. When Teej’s wife tries to intervene, Lakshmi continues berating Aditi before storming off.
Teej then turns to Mohit, asking why he stayed silent while Lakshmi insulted Aditi. Mohit, clearly frustrated, says it wouldn’t have mattered no one at home listens to him anyway, which is why he avoids visiting. Lakshmi confronts Mohit, accusing him of holding a grudge because their marriage was forced upon him. Mohit admits he tried to resist it but was never heard. His parents remind him that their marriage has lasted 25 years, so there’s no point rehashing the past. Deeply hurt, Lakshmi walks away.
Later, Mohit consoles Aditi and suggests they go out for biryani. Aditi brightens up and agrees, and Mohit invites Teej’s daughters to join them as well. As they get ready to leave, Lakshmi remarks that Mohit never takes Aditi to Amaravati. Teej supports the observation, questioning why neither Aditi nor Lakshmi has ever been invited there. Mohit explains that the living conditions in Amaravati aren’t suitable for a family and brushes off the conversation.
Meanwhile, Teju has a brief but memorable encounter with Rituraj. Impressed by her singing, he compliments her and asks if she’s interested in pursuing a career in music. Overjoyed, Teju eagerly says yes. Rituraj assures her they’ll meet again and leaves. From a distance, Neel watches the interaction quietly.
Later, Mukta is busy teaching her students when Teju bursts in with sweets, excitedly sharing the news of her opportunity to sing with Rituraj. Unfamiliar with the name, Mukta asks who he is. One of the students enthusiastically explains that Rituraj is an internet sensation. Mukta dismisses him, insisting that true music comes from icons like Lata Mangeshkar, not from auto-tuned internet performers.
She sends the students away and confronts Teju about her enthusiasm. Teju defends Rituraj, insisting he’s more than just an auto-tuned singer, and argues that to be a well-rounded artist, one must learn all types of music, not just classical. Mukta remains unconvinced and warns Teju that her admiration for Rituraj may be misguided.
