Jhanak update Monday 14 July 2025

The episode opens with Bipasha telling Tanuja that she and Lal could easily shift to a new flat if things don’t improve, unlike Tanuja’s current situation. Tanuja reminds Bipasha how well she has been cared for in the house and asks how Bipasha could forget that. Appu playfully teases them about their ongoing quarrel, but Anjana quickly asks Appu to stop and offers to serve the food instead. Lalon warns that if Anjana serves, he will leave, while both Tanuja and Bipasha refuse to take on the task. Shubh then offers to serve, but Lalon criticizes the food, saying it doesn’t taste good.

Anirudh points out that since Anjana cooked just the day before, Tanuja should also be able to cook now. Tanuja admits she has never cooked before, which leads Anirudh to accuse her of taking advantage of others. Anjana steps in, urging him to calm down. Dissatisfied with the food, Lalon suggests that everyone should eat together.

Meanwhile, Bipasha tells Lal she will go to her mother’s house if the situation continues, and proposes that they move to a new flat. Lalon, however, demands that they leave immediately. Challenging Tanuja, he asks what she plans to do. Bipasha boldly warns Lalon not to cross his limits, but he scolds her, claiming he owns most of the house and that if they want to stay, they must abide by his rules.

At that moment, Arshi walks in and sarcastically asks if the drama is happening again. She suggests Anirudh hire a cook since neither Tanuja nor Bipasha knows how to cook. Lalon dismisses the idea, saying no cook would work in his house and tells everyone to leave if they have an issue. He orders Arshi to make decisions along with Shubh and Tanuja. Shubh comments that Lalon already controls everything. Lalon insists that Tanuja and Bipasha must learn to work and even remarks that Tanuja’s own family won’t accept her. This makes Tanuja snap back at him to shut up, to which Lalon warns her not to speak to him like that in his house.

Anirudh hopes Tanuja is doing well and Arshi suggests he should take care of himself and eat properly because no one will care for him if he falls ill. Meanwhile, at Vihaan’s house, his friends encourage him to open a clinic there and settle down. Akshar advises Vihaan to consider the idea carefully, but Vihaan confides to Akshar about some personal struggles.

His friends also suggest inviting people from Kolkata to his muh dikhai ceremony, which Vihaan agrees to. He then calls Anirudh, reminding him that they were college mates. Anirudh recalls hearing that Vihaan had moved to America. Vihaan reveals he’s back in India and invites Anirudh to visit his village. Anirudh explains that with his wife pregnant, traveling isn’t feasible, but Vihaan insists that he bring her along. Anirudh declines, mentioning his wife can’t travel, yet Vihaan urges him to come regardless.

While Vihaan is on the phone with Anirudh, Jhanak overhears his name and is so startled that she drops a vessel. Ketki scolds Jhanak for the accident, while Vihaan tries to explain that Jhanak is still learning. Sejal advises Jhanak to be more careful because guests and Brahmins expect the food she prepares to be perfect.

Jhanak apologizes, but Ketki criticizes Vihaan for defending her, saying Jhanak doesn’t meet the standards of the other women in the house. Prachi offers Jhanak some comfort, and Mehek suggests she rest before serving the guests.

Elsewhere, Anirudh scolds Aditya for not yet finding Jhanak, expressing his fear that he may never see her again. He questions if Tejas is involved in her disappearance, but Aditya denies knowing anything about Tejas, although he confirms Kul Bhushan’s involvement. Aditya reassures Anirudh that the police are doing their best. Still frustrated, Anirudh wonders if Jhanak is alive and questions why she hasn’t reached out. Aditya speculates that she might be trapped somewhere.
