Anupama update Thursday 6 February 2025

Anupama: The episode begins with Megha waking her husband at night, showing him Aadhya’s sketches. She asks if it’s strange that the doodles shift from sadness to happiness. He reassures her that kids often have mood swings, blaming her actions for making Aadhya resign to her fate. Megha suggests they leave the city, feeling something is pulling them away from their daughter, but he dismisses the idea, stating that he’s a dean at a medical college and can’t leave just like that. Megha insists they take some time off, and they decide to take Aadhya to a farmhouse, but not until after Janmashtami.

Meanwhile, Anupama is on her way, feeling dizzy and asking Kanha ji for help. She’s determined to give Anuj the best birthday gift. Aadhya overhears and expresses concern about how her Mummy will find her if they leave. Megha agrees to go after Janmashtami. Anupama arrives and sees a girl from behind, thinking it might be Aadhya, but she can’t be sure. Her suspicion grows when she notices a sketch on the window.

Later, Vanraj wakes Baa, suggesting they should arrange Meenu’s marriage soon. He recalls seeing Meenu and Sagar playing with a flashlight. At the same time, Aadhya is having dinner with Megha and Viren. Anupama rings the bell, and Megha tells Aadhya to go to her room before answering. Anupama explains she’s just returning the extra 30 rupees they gave her yesterday. Megha questions her, and Anupama pretends to faint. Viren and Megha help her inside, where Anupama says she’s been feeling faint for the past few days. Megha offers water, and Anupama takes her medicine.

Aadhya notices the door is open and wonders why Megha didn’t lock it. Anupama tries to sneak a look around. Megha insists that Anupama should see a doctor, but Anupama refuses, saying she just needs a couple of minutes to rest. She thanks them and promises to bring prasad for them to give to their daughter. Megha grows irritated but says they’ll get it themselves. Anupama thanks them again and heads out.

As Anupama leaves, Viren drops his phone, and while they’re picking it up, Aadhya sneaks a peek from the room. Anupama catches sight of her and gets emotional, almost calling out to her, but Aadhya signals her not to say anything. Anupama checks if the phone is in good condition, and they reassure her it is. She thanks them and leaves, but as they lock the door, Anupama realizes they are keeping her daughter trapped. She recalls seeing a drawing of a girl in a cage, realizing Aadhya is being threatened.

Aadhya, relieved that Anupama didn’t react, thanks Kanha ji for letting her meet her Mummy. Back inside, Megha finds a plate with “Choti” written on it with sauce and grows suspicious.
