My Journey to You update Thursday 13 February 2025
My Journey to You: Virat approaches Babita and says, “Just like you’re stuck in this chair, I want her to be trapped the same way.” Babita thinks to herself, I can’t tolerate her for even 24 hours.
Meanwhile, Dildar speaks to Babita. She expresses her frustration, saying, “I can’t stand him, sir. I can’t accept this marriage. If I go through with the rituals, it will mean I’m accepting it.” Dildar reassures her, “People always talk, but hard work speaks for itself. You have done nothing wrong. Play along with Virat’s game and beat him at it—I will support you. This is my promise. You will expose everyone who stands against you.”
Harsh objects, “That won’t happen! We won’t perform any rituals!” Amruta tries to explain, but he cuts her off, saying, “Why do you always justify things? You deserve this!” Bhavani, enraged, raises her hand to slap him, but Harsh shouts, “Can’t you see what’s wrong here? Sometimes, I regret choosing you over Dad.” Amruta is shocked, and Bhavani breaks down in tears as Harsh storms off. Amruta tries to console her, saying, “He’s just angry.” Jahan says, “We need to bring Virat to his senses. Maybe we should go along with what he wants for now.”
Virat calls the doctor, but his servant asks, “Where is Bhabhi?” Virat, annoyed, responds, “What Bhabhi?” The servant replies, “She’s your wife now.” Babita arrives, dismissing the need for a doctor. Kavita informs them that the elevator isn’t working, and the doctor can’t come upstairs. Virat decides to wait until the next day. Meanwhile, Dildar teases him, “You’re asking about your wife? You should know where she is, just like I always know where my wife is.” Virat brushes it off. Dildar, scheming, is pleased as Virat leaves for a business meeting in Goa.
Scene 2
At the Ahuja house, Marathi music plays, and the place is decorated. Babita, confused, asks, “What is all this?” Dildar proudly says, “I planned it.” Virat demands, “Who did all this?” Dildar responds, “I did—for your wife.” Everyone is shocked as Amruta walks in, wearing her mangalsutra and sindoor. Dildar welcomes her, saying, “Virat wanted this marriage, not Amruta. Now, we have to accept it.” He insists on completing the Griha Pravesh ritual.
Dildar performs Amruta’s aarti and welcomes her inside. Babita fumes, but Dildar remains firm, saying, “Virat declared this marriage, so we will do the rituals.” Bhavani joins in, performing Marathi traditions. She blesses the couple, wishing their marriage happiness. Babita scoffs, but Bhavani ignores her and offers a shagun coin to Amruta. Dildar adds his own gift—a jewelry set—insisting she accept it.
Babita taunts, “So now a Jignesh family girl will wear this?” Dildar replies, “Yes, because Virat made this relationship.” He asks Virat to help Amruta wear the necklace, but Virat, irritated, drops it and pretends to get an important call. Amruta picks up the pearls, but Babita deliberately steps on her hand. “Learn to value expensive things,” she sneers. Amruta calmly responds, “I value my principles, which are priceless. These pearls symbolize Dildar’s blessings, and that matters more than their price.” She touches Dildar’s feet, leaving Virat frustrated. Why is my father giving her so much respect? She broke my trust—she won’t get anything from me! he thinks.
Scene 3
Bhavani worries about leaving Amruta alone. Jahan reassures her, “Dildar is with her. She knows how to stand up for herself.” Meanwhile, Amruta accidentally hits Virat with a door. “Are you blind?” he snaps. She calmly hands him a napkin, “You’re still alive, don’t worry.”
Later, Amruta starts arranging her belongings in Virat’s room. Annoyed, he asks, “Why are you keeping your things here?” She replies, “You wanted me to live with you.” He warns, “You can’t share my room.” She retorts, “Fine, you sleep on the bed.” Virat refuses, saying, “You’ll sleep on the sofa.” Instead, Amruta locks him in the bathroom. “Sleep there,” she says smugly. Furious, Virat yells, “You will pay for this!” Amruta smirks, “I’m the banker.”
Babita, secretly watching, is stunned to see Amruta confidently placing her clothes in Virat’s closet. When Dildar arrives, she quickly returns to her wheelchair. “You’re sweating. Are you okay?” he asks. “Yes,” she lies. Alone, Babita looks at Virat’s photo, seething. How could you marry her? You could have had any girl, but you chose Amruta. Why do I feel like you actually love her? I can’t let your anger turn into love before you realize it.
Scene 4
That night, Amruta sees Virat sleeping in the bathtub and feels a twinge of pity. She whispers, “I always thought of you as a friend. I don’t know how I’ll manage this every day, but I will fight for my dignity.” Virat suddenly wakes up. “What are you doing?” he snaps. “There was a spider,” she lies. “Stop acting,” he grumbles. “You can leave now.” Amruta responds, “You can come out, you know.” “I don’t need your permission,” he snaps.
The next morning, Amruta prepares breakfast for Dildar. He praises her, “It smells amazing. Thank you for everything.” Meanwhile, Babita struggles in her wheelchair. Amruta offers to help, but Babita refuses. “The elevator isn’t working,” Amruta explains. “Abhiraj is coming to fix it. I need to go to the temple,” Babita insists.
At breakfast, everyone enjoys the dessert Amruta prepared. Deepika says, “This tastes amazing!” Even Virat, impressed, declares, “I want to kiss the person who made this!” Everyone laughs, and the chef reveals, “Amruta Bhabhi made it.” Dildar beams, “It’s her first dish in this house—she deserves a shagun.”
But suddenly, panic sets in. “Where is Babita?” someone asks. The last person seen with her was Amruta. Fearful of being blamed, Amruta frantically searches for her. Virat corners her, demanding, “Where is my mother? What have you done now?” Amruta explains, “She asked me to take her to the elevator.” Virat scoffs, “She would never!”
Just then, Kavita rushes in, yelling, “Babita is stuck in the lift! Come quickly!” Virat glares at Amruta.
