Anupama

Anupama: The episode begins with Ansh, Ishu, and Mahi running to Aadhya, hugging her tightly, and expressing how much they missed her. They insist that she should stay with them. Aadhya reassures them that she won’t leave again. Meenu arrives and embraces Aadhya, who remarks that even she has changed. Soon, Kinjal, Baa, and Babu ji step outside. Aadhya hugs Kinjal and seeks blessings from Baa and Babu ji.

Meanwhile, Anupama gently brushes Anuj’s hair away from his face and wipes flour off his cheeks. The family enjoys a meal together as Aadhya watches Anuj and Anupama with admiration. Just then, Toshu arrives and demands to know why they all left without informing Paritosh Shah, declaring himself the head of the Shah family. Anupama sarcastically taunts him, while he orders everyone inside. Pakhi calls for Meenu to come in, and Toshu instructs Kinjal to follow. Anupama remarks that Toshu has lost his senses. Baa reluctantly goes inside.

Toshu arrogantly states that while his father tolerated their “poor neighbors,” he won’t. He boasts that he is even more stubborn than his father. Anupama quips that he is just as foolish. Toshu declares his dislike for the food stall, but Anupama retorts that running a business takes effort, something he wouldn’t understand. He vows to prove himself.

Inside the house, Baa is shocked to find a late-night puja being arranged. Toshu claims he organized it and lies about meeting a builder who refused to let them stay because of Vanraj’s disappearance. He says he pleaded with the builder and, as a result, they need to appoint a new head of the family. He presents a turban. Baa refuses, saying Vanraj is still alive, and this ritual is done only after a father’s death. Toshu argues that since Vanraj is missing, he, as the eldest son, should take charge.

Dimpy protests, saying a family head should be chosen with everyone’s agreement. Pakhi has no objections, but Dimpy insists she does. Toshu pressures Baa into performing the ritual. Despite her reluctance, he forces her to place the turban on his head. Kinjal intervenes, calling his actions unacceptable. Toshu arrogantly declares that this isn’t just a turban but a symbol of power. He demands obedience from everyone, warning that those who disagree can leave. He proclaims himself as the new leader, declaring, “Vanraj Shah is gone—Paritosh Shah is here!” Pakhi performs a ritual to ward off the evil eye from him.

Meanwhile, Anuj reflects on his situation, staring at himself in the mirror. Anupama reassures him that while they can’t control circumstances, they can choose how to respond. She acknowledges his struggles, realizing his downfall was due to betrayal. Anuj regrets signing away his business, feeling helpless about Aadhya’s future. Anupama encourages him, reminding him that while he lost his business, his talent, confidence, and style remain. She urges him to rebuild his empire and be the strong father Aadhya needs.

Encouraged, Anuj declares that he wants to reclaim his former self and be the man Anupama always believed in. He promises never to lose Aadhya or Anupama again. They share a heartfelt hug as Aadhya watches.

Back at the Shah house, Toshu rings a bell on his phone, announcing that he will continue until everyone listens to him. He brings out a framed photo of Vanraj. Everyone watches in shock. Anupama wonders what he plans to do. Aadhya, thinking about her parents, grows anxious. Baa demands an explanation for the photo. Kinjal questions why he had it made.

Toshu dramatically states that he wants everyone to see his next move. Baa, terrified, begs someone to find Vanraj before Toshu makes matters worse. Toshu places the photo at the door and drapes a garland over it. Enraged, Baa slaps him, yelling that he has no right to declare her son dead. She curses that it would have been better if he had died instead. Toshu justifies his actions, claiming that if moneylenders believe Vanraj is dead, they will leave them alone. Baa, overwhelmed with grief, tears the garland apart.

Later, Anuj and Aadhya fill tomato sauce bottles for Anu Ki Rasoi. Anupama urges them to rest. Toshu, now fully embracing his self-proclaimed leadership, arrives wearing the turban. He arrogantly touches Babu ji and Anupama’s feet, declaring that the Pagdi Rasam has been completed and he is now officially the head of the family. He assures them that he will ensure nothing goes wrong.

Toshu then threatens Sagar, warning him to stay away or risk the destruction of Asha Bhavan. In response, Anuj casually squirts tomato sauce onto Toshu’s clothes. Toshu, furious, demands an explanation. Anuj dismisses him, telling him to get his clothes dry-cleaned. Anupama adds sarcastically that she’ll wash them properly. Aadhya finds Toshu’s behavior ridiculous, remarking that he’s acting like a dictator. Anuj reminds Toshu that the house follows democracy, not a dictatorship.

Undeterred, Toshu warns them to wait and see what he does next. Anupama, unimpressed, comments that even Vanraj wasn’t this irrational. She warns that if Toshu truly takes over, he will only bring the family to ruin.
