Soulmate update Sunday 16 February 2025

Soulmate: The episode begins with Sayali signing as a witness. Akash tells her they will return home in their friend’s car, and she agrees but asks him to explain it to Sachin. As she leaves, she recalls Sachin’s words and breaks down. Meanwhile, Riya expresses her concern about returning home, fearing her parents’ anger. Akash insists they should go back, but Riya suggests staying away for two days until things settle down.

Sayali walks the streets in tears. At home, Raghav arrives and asks about Riya’s whereabouts. Joy and Mamta are surprised, as the last they knew, Raghav and Riya were together. Raghav explains that she had sent him to buy a gift at the temple, only to vanish, with her phone now switched off. Joy assumes she must have gone for dubbing work, but Raghav, upset with her defiance, demands that she call him when she returns. Suspecting foul play, Joy decides it’s time to teach Paresh a lesson.

At Paresh’s house, Renu awaits Sayali, but Roshni and Tejas arrive instead. Over dinner, Paresh questions Tejas about his work, doubting his professional commitment. Soon after, Joy and Mamta arrive angrily. Joy accuses Paresh of hiding Riya. Paresh is confused, but Mamta insists that his son is behind her disappearance. Renu defends Akash, while Tejas sarcastically suggests that Sachin might have caused trouble. However, Paresh clarifies that they are referring to Akash.

A heated argument ensues as Joy accuses Akash of kidnapping Riya. Paresh, believing his son’s innocence, tries to defend him, but Joy demands that he call Akash immediately. When Paresh calls, Riya snatches Akash’s phone and switches it off, asking him to remain calm.

Meanwhile, Sayali and Sachin attempt to contact each other. Back at Paresh’s house, Mamta continues to berate him. Roshni and Renu stand up for him, warning Mamta not to throw around baseless accusations. The tension escalates when Joy grabs Paresh by the collar, leading Renu to order them out of the house. Just then, the police arrive to arrest Paresh. He protests, saying they have no proof against him. The inspector informs him that he must come in for questioning.

Roshni pleads for her father, arguing that he is a senior citizen and should be interrogated at home. Paresh, realizing Joy’s revenge-driven actions, claims the allegations are false. Despite his protests, the inspector warns that if he doesn’t cooperate, they will obtain an arrest warrant. Left with no choice, Paresh agrees to go with them.

As he is escorted away, Joy remains convinced that Paresh is trying to escape accountability. The inspector instructs him to ride in the police jeep without hesitation. Roshni, worried, insists on accompanying Tejas to the station. Meanwhile, Renu is left anxious.

Sayali soon arrives at the scene, shocked to learn of Paresh’s arrest. A bystander informs her that he was accused of kidnapping a girl for marriage. Certain of his innocence, she rushes off in an auto-rickshaw, desperately trying to reach Sachin. Meanwhile, Sachin is already on his way.
