Soulmate update Monday 17 February 2025

Soulmate: The episode begins with Sayali desperately calling Sachin, her voice breaking with emotion. Concerned, Sachin immediately asks if Renu has done anything to upset her. Sayali, barely able to form words through her sobs, manages to say, “No… It’s Paresh… The police… they’ve arrested him.” Shocked, Sachin demands an explanation, but the call abruptly cuts off due to network issues. Without wasting a moment, he rushes to the police station with Sayali.

At the station, Tejas insists that they will provide their statements and leave. However, the inspector is unimpressed, sternly reminding them that this is a serious matter. Roshni steps in, trying to reason with the officer, while Renu pleads for Paresh’s innocence. Joy, however, is adamant. “Don’t let him go,” he insists.

Roshni, determined to defend her father-in-law, retorts, “How can you accuse him without a shred of proof?” But Mamta, overcome with anger and frustration, snaps, “Our daughter is missing! Her wedding is next week! Paresh is trying to ruin our reputation!”

Paresh, growing increasingly exasperated, pleads his case. “I have told you the truth! I know nothing about Riya’s whereabouts. Akash is an honest young man; he would never do something like this.” However, the inspector remains unmoved. “This is a criminal case. If their daughter doesn’t return, you might end up behind bars.”

Mamta, still fuming, suggests a harsher approach. “He won’t talk like this. Take him inside and beat the truth out of him!” she yells. Renu gasps in horror, clutching her hands together. “No! He won’t survive that,” she begs.

Trying to calm the chaos, Paresh suggests, “Maybe Riya left of her own will, and now they are blaming Akash and me instead. Instead of accusing us, they should focus on finding her. Akash will come home soon, I promise.” But the inspector is resolute. “Until then, you are staying right here.”

Tejas protests, but the officer silences him. “If you don’t leave now, I will have you removed.” Paresh sighs, exhaustion evident in his eyes. “When my son returns, I will bring him here myself. Let me go home for now.” The inspector shakes his head. “Not happening. You are here for questioning.” He signals a constable, who forces Paresh to sit down.

Watching all of this unfold, Renu breaks down, turning to Tejas. “Do something! Call Sachin. He’ll know what to do.” Tears stream down her face as she looks towards Paresh, locked away in the holding cell.

Paresh, trying to remain strong, murmurs, “I trust Akash. He would never do such a thing.” Renu, anguished, asks, “Then why has he done this?” Tejas embraces his mother, trying to comfort her, while Roshni works the phones, contacting a lawyer.

Just then, Sayali arrives, demanding to see Paresh. Roshni directs her inside, where Sayali approaches the inspector. “Sir, you’re making a mistake. Paresh is innocent!”

The inspector’s patience wears thin. “He is charged with kidnapping a girl.”

Sayali, desperate, insists, “It’s not his fault. Akash—”

“Enough,” the inspector interrupts. “We will release Paresh only when Akash comes in for questioning. Otherwise, Paresh is going to jail.”

Tejas, meanwhile, deceives Roshni about his whereabouts, while Juhi arrives at the station. Sayali confronts her. “What do you know about Akash’s whereabouts?”

Juhi shakes her head. “Nothing, I swear.”

Meanwhile, Sachin speeds toward the station, his mind racing. Upon arriving, he rushes inside, breathlessly asking Sayali, “Where’s Dad?”

Sayali gestures toward the holding cell. Sachin hurries in, his heart sinking when he sees his father sitting helplessly inside. “Dad!” he calls out, his voice filled with pain. Renu watches silently, tears welling in her eyes.

Sayali pulls Sachin aside. “I need to tell you something important,” she urges.

But Sachin shakes his head. “First, I need to understand what’s happening here.”

The inspector steps forward. “Who are you?”

Sachin squares his shoulders. “I am Sachin, Akash’s older brother. What’s this about?”

The inspector lays out the accusations, causing Sachin’s jaw to clench in disbelief. Turning toward Joy and Mamta, he seethes, “These people are frauds! I swear, I’ll—”

Before he can act, a constable interjects with shocking news. “Akash and Riya got married today.”

A stunned silence falls over the room. Everyone stares in disbelief, struggling to process the bombshell revelation.
