Anupama update Saturday 22 February 2025

Anupama: The episode begins with Aadhya announcing the next couple—Sagar and Meenu. Ansh encourages them to dance, and they perform to Gustakh Dil. As their dance ends, Meenu stumbles, and Sagar catches her. Dolly claps, followed by Anupama and the others.

Next, Ishu calls out Anupama’s name, and Aadhya, seeing Bala’s name on the chit, instead takes Anuj’s name. Everyone insists that Anupama dance, but she suggests reciting poetry instead. Anuj, however, asks if they can dance together. As they do, the children join in, and Aadhya, smiling, imagines them as SRK and Kajol from DDLJ. As Anupama turns to leave, her pallu gets caught in Anuj’s watch. He recites poetry, subtly proposing their union.

The next morning, Anupama performs Tulsi Puja and Surya Namaskar, with Anuj joining her in prayer. She prays for Baa and Babu ji’s health, happiness for the people at Asha Bhavan, and Aadhya’s everlasting smile. Anuj, in his prayer, asks for the strength to love Anupama even more than before. She applies tilak on him, and he feeds her modak. They also feed Kaveri and enjoy coffee together. Anuj takes a selfie, declaring it the first of their new life and reminiscing about their promise to take a daily selfie. He smiles and says, “I love you, Anu.” Anupama, however, excuses herself, standing at a distance while Anuj fondly looks at their picture.

Nandita compliments them, saying they resemble Radha and Krishna. Anuj, exasperated, wonders who will make Anupama understand. Sagar playfully remarks that Anuj is so handsome that Anupama will eventually fall for him. Anuj reflects on the slow, patient love of his time, contrasting it with the fast-paced nature of today’s generation. Sagar and Nandita admire his unwavering love.

At the Shah house, Toshu places a box on the dining table, announcing it as a “contribution box.” He declares that those seeking a dharamshala (charitable lodging) vibe can go to Asha Bhavan, but those staying here must contribute financially. Baa scolds him, warning that his antics might land him in a mental asylum. Toshu, unfazed, demands money from her. Titu intervenes, asking him not to disrespect Baa. Toshu, in turn, taunts Titu, questioning his stardom since he stays home all day.

Dimpy firmly states that while they will contribute to household expenses, they won’t let anyone take their rightful share. Toshu smirks, calling it a fair deal. Kinjal, frustrated, declares that enough is enough. Toshu, resentful, complains that Vanraj has vanished with crores while he is left to bear the household burden. He refuses to take responsibility for everyone and demands that Dolly pay for Meenu’s expenses.

Meenu, furious, tells Toshu that he can never match Mamu (Anuj), who has class, dignity, and grace—unlike him. Dolly warns Toshu that she can still slap him, to which he arrogantly replies that he’s no longer a child and that she might fall if she tries. Baa, disheartened, tells Kinjal that their family is falling apart. Dolly, however, agrees with Toshu, insisting that everyone has an equal share in the property. She places ₹500 in the contribution box for Meenu’s and her expenses for the day and demands her rightful share. She reveals that she has spoken to the builder and knows exactly how much money they received.

Meanwhile, Aadhya hopes for Anupama and Anuj’s reunion. She reminisces about once dreading school but now eagerly waiting to return. Anupama joins her, encouraging her to start studying immediately rather than waiting for admission. She reminds Aadhya that Anuj is working hard to secure her a spot in a top school and advises her to revise her previous lessons. Aadhya happily shares that Sagar will help her and that Bala Kaka, a math expert, will tutor her. Anupama blesses her and prays for her dreams to come true.

Elsewhere, Meenu observes how, in Anuj’s absence, everyone’s true colors have surfaced. She reflects that even her mother isn’t innocent and jokes that she should have done an internship in Russia instead. Dolly stops her, offering to drop her at college. When Meenu refuses, Dolly threatens to send her back to the U.S. to her father. Just then, Sagar arrives in an auto. Dolly taunts him before taking Meenu along. Determined, Sagar and Meenu vow to fight for their love.

At Kapadia House, Anuj steps out wearing a formal shirt and trousers. Anupama compliments him, saying he looks good. Anuj, smiling, announces that he is heading to his own office.
