Saras and Kumud: The episode begins with Badimaa informing everyone that a girl answered her call and asked them to come. Kumud looks at Kalika, who responds, “Don’t thank me, I was thinking about you.” Kumud smiles, but Kalika then exposes Kumud’s wounds, shocking everyone. Budhidhan questions Kumud, who covers up by saying Pramad gave her bangles that were too tight, causing the injuries. Budhidhan advises her to take care and asks Kalika to call Alak. Kalika slyly suggests calling Naveen, but he is out. Kumud worries about Saras returning home and how her family will react.

Budhidhan praises Kumud, and Pramad’s mother compliments the family’s values, even expressing admiration for Kusum. Later, Badimaa informs Pramad’s mother that she has a vow to fulfill at a temple. Pramad’s mother insists she eats before leaving. Meanwhile, Kalika is suspicious, sensing something is amiss as Saras is on his way home. As the family is leaving, Budhidhan opens the door to find Saras, shocking Badimaa, Vidyachatur, and Guniyal. Kalika observes their reactions closely. Pramad introduces Saras as Naveenchandra, and Budhidhan reveals that he intended to send him to Vidyachatur’s house. Badimaa denies knowing him, and Saras covers by saying he was late and never reached their house. Budhidhan then formally introduces Saras to Kumud’s family, declaring him part of their own.

Pramad’s mother praises Saras, noting he respects her more than Pramad and Alak. Badimaa, visibly angry, excuses herself for temple prayers, while Saras, recalling his mother’s words, insists on accompanying her for safety. Kalika remains suspicious. In the kitchen, Pramad’s mother takes Kalika along, stopping her from going out. Meanwhile, Saras chases after Badimaa, remembering how his mother once ran from him in a similar manner.

Back at home, Vidyachatur confronts Kumud about hiding Saras’s presence. Kusum justifies it, saying they didn’t want to worry him. Vidyachatur is furious that Saras, who broke their engagement, is now staying with her. Kumud tries to explain, but he remains upset, warning that Saras should not stay there. Kusum insists Saras is helping Kumud, leaving Vidyachatur and Guniyal shocked.

At the lake, Saras catches up with Badimaa, who accuses him of ruining Kumud’s life. She steps into the water, challenging Saras to leave Kumud forever. Saras, tormented by memories of his mother’s suicide, cries out. Badimaa loses consciousness in the water, and Saras rushes to save her. As he pulls her out, she coldly rejects him, refusing to be called “Maa.” She criticizes him for being selfish, saying even his father, who betrayed her, at least stayed away. Saras pleads for her trust one last time, promising to help Kumud find happiness before leaving.

Meanwhile, Pramad, drunk, behaves embarrassingly before Kumud’s parents. Despite their invitation to eat, he declines, boasting about his drinking habits. Budhidhan is angered, while Kumud is humiliated.

Saras sings a song that Badimaa used to sing for him, bringing her to tears as she wakes up. He begs her never to repeat such an act, but she remains bitter, blaming him for Kumud’s suffering. Saras defends himself, insisting he is trying to help.

Back at the house, Kumud attempts to call Saras, but he doesn’t answer. Kalika keeps an eye on her, pretending to take food for Naveen but is intercepted by Kumud, who orders her to take food to Pramad instead. Later, Kalika tries to get close to Pramad, but Kumud walks in and witnesses their interaction. Pramad mockingly asks if she’s jealous, but Kumud firmly asserts her position as his wife.

Deeply distressed, Kumud goes to the temple, questioning how much more she can endure. Saras arrives, catching her tears and handing her a napkin, declaring, “Enough, Kumud, you won’t cry anymore.” Kumud insists her fate is unchangeable, but Saras assures her that Kalika will soon be out of the way.

Later, Badimaa calls Kumud and Saras for a talk. Meanwhile, Kalika overhears a conversation revealing Saras’s true identity as Saraswatichandra, who was once supposed to marry Kumud. Kalika is left in shock.
