Saras and Kumud: The episode begins with Kumud standing near the gate of her house, crying, while Saras looks on. He tells her that she has reached home and asks her to promise him that she will stay happy and not shed tears, for his peace of mind. Kumud responds that she will be happy only if he moves forward in life with someone else.

Saras replies that he cannot make a false promise.He then asks her if she will start teaching at school again, and she nods in agreement. Kumud, in turn, asks him if he will return to his father, but he shakes his head. She points out that she agreed to his request, yet he refuses to listen to hers. Saras simply states that he has to leave. As the song Tadap Tadap Ke plays in the background, Saras asks Kumud to take care of herself, and they both walk away from each other, tears streaming down their faces.

They pause midway, turning to look at each other, sharing the silent pain of their separation.Kusum witnesses their sorrow and comes to take Kumud inside.Kumud then asks Saras where he will go. He replies that he will stay away from her life to avoid causing her further pain. Kusum bids him farewell and asks him to take care of himself. Saras, before leaving, requests Kusum to take care of Kumud. Meanwhile, Vidyachatur and Guniyal read a letter and are left in shock. The entire family is stunned.

Vidyachatur insists that no one should inform Kumud about this matter.Guniyal, however, argues that Kumud will eventually find out and will feel betrayed if they keep it from her. Vidyachatur confesses that he is in debt but does not want Kumud to suffer more than she already is. Unbeknownst to them, Kumud overhears their conversation.Saras, on his way back to Budhidhan’s house, stops at a bridge and breaks down, reminiscing about his love for Kumud and the promises he could not keep.

Meanwhile, Kumud stands on the terrace, crying. Kusum asks her what they should do next. Kumud admits she doesn’t know and is heartbroken that their father hid his financial troubles from them. Kusum worries about what will happen if they lose their home, and Kumud embraces her for comfort.

Just then, Pramad arrives, leaving Kumud and Kusum shocked. He apologizes to Kumud, admitting that Kalika deceived him. Kumud, however, is skeptical, reminding him that she had warned him about Kalika numerous times, yet he never believed her. Pramad confesses that Kalika was only interested in his wealth, and Naveenchandra was the one who revealed the truth to him. Kumud recalls Saras’s words about exposing Kalika. Pramad, now regretful, acknowledges that he had shut out someone who genuinely loved him while giving importance to someone who only wanted his money.

He begs Kumud for a chance to make amends, promising to restore her lost dignity. He even offers to apologize to her parents, but Kumud stops him, saying it is unnecessary.

Pramad asks Kumud if she will support him in his efforts to change. Kumud remains silent, and Pramad tells her he will wait for her decision before leaving. Kusum is left confused by the situation, and Kumud wonders if this is all a sign from the divine.

At Budhidhan’s house, Alak urges her father to report Pramad’s actions to the police, but Pramad’s mother objects, refusing to turn her son in. Budhidhan, concerned about the upcoming elections, hesitates to take any legal action. Alak argues that if she had been in Kumud’s place, she would have sought justice, but Kumud has chosen to remain silent for the family’s sake. Budhidhan praises Kumud for her resilience, but Alak insists that Pramad should be punished. She storms off in frustration.

Saras arrives home, and Pramad’s mother inquires if he left Kumud at her house. He nods in confirmation. When she asks why he returned late, Saras vaguely responds that he had some work to do. Just then, the doorbell rings, and everyone is shocked to see Kumud, Kusum, and Pramad together. Pramad’s mother, overjoyed, welcomes them and blesses Kumud. Saras is taken aback. Pramad explains that he went to bring Kumud back, and his mother is relieved, believing everything will now be fine. She embraces Kumud warmly.

Saras, however, is upset and privately questions Kumud’s decision. He reminds her of the abuse she endured and asks how she could forgive Pramad so easily. Kumud simply states that Pramad came to take her back, so she had to return. Saras, frustrated, warns her that Pramad cannot change and that giving him another chance is a mistake. He storms off in anger, while Kumud remains troubled, unable to explain her reasons.

When Pramad leads Kumud to their room, she stops him at the entrance, handing him a blanket and pillow. Stunned, he listens as Kumud firmly declares that although she has returned, she is not here as his wife, only as a daughter-in-law. She reminds him that his past actions deeply wounded her and that she cannot forget them. She tells him that if he truly intends to change, she will observe his actions but will not share a room with him. She closes the door, leaving Pramad outside. Kumud, determined, vows that from now on, she will show him her true strength.

Saras watches Pramad’s reaction and is puzzled by his uncharacteristic silence. He suspects something is amiss. He later asks Kusum why Kumud returned. Kusum explains that Pramad sincerely apologized, but she does not divulge further details and walks away.

The next morning, Pramad wakes up in the hall. His mother questions Kumud about why Pramad did not sleep in his room. Budhidhan supports Kumud’s decision, emphasizing that Pramad must face the consequences of his past mistakes. He blesses Kumud and expresses hope that she succeeds in making Pramad change. He then asks for Naveenchandra, but Alak informs him that she has not seen him.

Later, Kumud and Saras secretly observe Pramad searching Kalika’s room. Pramad eventually finds a bottle of wine. As he is about to drink, he hesitates and throws the bottle away. Kumud smiles, while Saras watches in disbelief. Kumud, relieved, walks away, but Saras remains skeptical, questioning whether Pramad is truly capable of change.

Meanwhile, Budhidhan and his wife discuss Pramad’s situation. His wife is concerned about Pramad sleeping outside his room, but Budhidhan argues that Kumud is justified in her actions. He asks his wife how she would feel if someone had treated their daughter the same way Pramad treated Kumud. His wife remains silent, saddened by her son’s downfall.

Pramad then approaches his mother for food, surprising her with his composed behavior. Kumud and Pramad’s mother are pleased to see a positive shift in him. Kumud thanks the Lord, praying for Pramad to stay strong and avoid alcohol. Saras, still doubtful, observes Kumud as she prays.

Meanwhile, Danny learns that Vidyachatur is selling his car and offers to help. Kumud, on the other hand, is suspicious about what is happening at home. She calls Kumari, who reassures her that everything is fine. However, Kumud senses that something is being hidden from her.

Later, Saras helps Kumud when her saree gets stuck. She insists that Pramad will eventually change, but Saras remains doubtful. He warns her about enduring more suffering. She asks if he will support her, but Saras admits that while he cannot leave her, he also cannot watch her suffer again.

While driving together, Pramad suddenly asks Saras to stop the car, claiming he is thirsty. Saras steps out to buy water, but when he returns, Pramad is gone. Saras searches for him in vain and realizes he should have never trusted Pramad.

At home, Pramad’s mother anxiously asks where he is. Budhidhan, angry, reveals that Pramad left midway. Just then, Pramad stumbles in, drunk. Kumud is devastated. Budhidhan scolds him harshly, comparing his actions to the darkness of the night. Pramad reacts emotionally, but Kumud gently helps him inside. Saras assists in carrying Pramad to his room.

Later, Budhidhan expresses doubts about Pramad’s ability to change. Kumud, however, remains hopeful. She insists that Pramad needs their support and suggests returning his assets to motivate him. Saras is stunned, while Pramad’s mother is delighted.

The episode ends with a sense of uncertainty—will Pramad truly change, or is Kumud making a mistake?
