Saras and Kumud update Monday 3 February 2025

Saras and Kumud: The episode begins with Badimaa noticing Kumud looking sad. She asks her what’s wrong, and Kumud replies, “I feel like I’m leaving this house forever and going to my sasuraal.” Just then, Saras arrives, and Badimaa exchanges glances with him. She advises Kumud never to look back. Outside, Pramad’s mother waits for Kumud in the car.

Meanwhile, Vidyachatur apologizes to Budhidhan, who assures him that he will take good care of Kumud. Saras signals Kumud to reconsider, but she just looks at him in silence.

Pramad approaches Saras and says, “Let’s forget everything that happened. If possible, you should forget it too.” He then hugs Saras, who instantly realizes Pramad is up to something. While everyone believes Pramad has changed, Saras remains unconvinced.

Pramad turns to Vidyachatur and says, “Kumud is my responsibility now. Please bless me.” Then, taunting Saras, he adds, “I feel bad for him. I wish he had Kusum in his life if not Kumud.” He bids farewell to everyone, smiles at Saras, and leaves with Kumud. Saras and Danny watch them go.

Saras insists on going with Kumud, but Danny stops him, reminding him about the auction happening in a few hours. Meanwhile, Guniyal pleads with Vidyachatur to stop the auction, unable to bear the thought of leaving their home. Vidyachatur tries to reassure her, saying he will soon arrange the money to pay off their debt. However, the creditors refuse to wait. Kumari anxiously asks what they will do now.

Danny decides to go to the bank, but Saras stops him, saying, “No, it’s our father’s money, and Vidya Kaka won’t accept it.” Instead, Saras suggests another plan and takes Danny along. Kusum overhears their conversation.

At Pramad’s house, he welcomes Kumud to their room and thanks her for everything she has done for him. Speaking sweetly, he says, “You helped me find myself.” He then expresses his gratitude by offering her a surprise, asking if she will come with him the next day. Kumud agrees with a smile. As she turns to leave, she hesitates and tells Pramad that he can stay in the room if he wishes. Pramad replies, “Yes, but not today—tomorrow.” As he walks away, he smirks and mutters, “Kumud, you will see tomorrow what I have planned for you.”

Back at the Desai house, the auction is set to begin in 30 minutes. The creditors urge Vidyachatur to sign the papers and hand over the keys. With a heavy heart, he prepares to sign when Danny rushes in with a file and gives it to Saras. Saras announces, “The loan has been repaid.” Everyone is shocked. The creditors verify the documents and confirm that the debt is cleared, canceling the auction.

Vidyachatur is stunned. Saras explains, “I know you wouldn’t accept my help, but return the money whenever you can.” Vidyachatur asks why he did this. Saras reminds him, “You once mortgaged your home to help my father. This is my home too.” Overwhelmed with emotion, Saras apologizes and leaves.

Later, Kusum reveals to Vidyachatur that Saras sold his land to save their house. Vidyachatur is surprised, and Kusum reminds him that Saras had purchased that land to build a school in his mother’s memory. She explains that Saras instructed Danny to sell the land and use the money to clear their debt. Badimaa smiles proudly.

Meanwhile, Saras speaks to Danny and entrusts him with taking care of the Desai family. Danny, concerned, says, “I know you’ll protect Kumud, but what about you?” Saras reassures him and heads out to find Kumud.

At the same time, Pramad and Kalika are in a decorated room meant for Pramad’s “suhaag raat” with Kumud. However, in a shocking turn of events, Pramad suddenly stabs Kalika in the stomach. She screams in pain. Elsewhere, Saras, sensing danger, murmurs Kumud’s name in distress. Kalika is left in shock as Pramad laughs maniacally. He reveals his sinister plan—to kill Kumud and frame Saras for her murder.

He instructs Kalika to plant evidence linking Saras to the crime. Kalika suggests an alternative plan, but Pramad insists, saying, “Just do as I say.”

Kalika hesitates and warns him, “Saras will never let anything happen to Kumud. What if he comes to save her?” Pramad smirks, “Then we’ll kill them both.”

The next morning, Kumud reflects on Pramad’s words and sees the white cloth Saras had given her. Pramad enters and asks, “Are you ready? I’m excited to give you your surprise.” He takes her with him. Before leaving, he puts on a convincing act in front of Budhidhan, praising Kumud and asking his mother to forgive her. His mother remains unimpressed, but Pramad doesn’t push further, saying, “We’re getting late.” Alak asks where they are going, and Pramad replies, “It’s a surprise.”

As they leave, Saras arrives and is immediately met with hostility. Budhidhan scolds him, saying, “You should not have come here.” Pramad’s mother adds, “My son has a big heart to have forgiven you.” Both Budhidhan and his wife order Saras to leave. Alak, however, secretly supports him, telling Saras that she also finds Pramad’s sudden change suspicious.

She reveals that her parents have always prioritized Pramad over her, forcing her to marry against her will.She then tells Saras, “Pramad took Kumud with him, and no one knows where.” She hands Saras her car keys, urging him to follow them. Grateful, Saras thanks her and speeds off.

On his way, Saras confronts Kalika and demands to know where Pramad took Kumud. Trembling, Kalika warns him, “Stop Pramad, or he will kill her!” Saras is suspicious, asking why she is helping him when she also wanted to harm Kumud. Kalika breaks down, admitting, “I was blinded by my obsession with Pramad. But if he kills Kumud, he’ll be sentenced to death, and I can’t live without him.” She gives Saras the address but refuses to go with him, fearing Pramad’s wrath.

Saras forces her into the car, warning, “If you don’t come, I will kill you myself.”Meanwhile, Pramad takes Kumud to a hotel room decorated romantically. He greets her with a charming smile, locking the door behind them. Throwing flowers on the floor, he gestures for her to walk over them. As Kumud hesitantly steps forward, he leads her to the bed and makes her sit. “I’ll be right back,” he says.

Saras drives at full speed, determined to reach Kumud in time. Kalika tries to mislead him, but he catches on. Losing patience, he grabs her by the arm and demands, “Tell me the truth!” When she still hesitates, he threatens her, and she finally gives in.

At the hotel, Pramad pretends to be caring, bringing Kumud water. However, his mask soon slips. He moves closer to her, making her uncomfortable. Sensing his intentions, she stops him. “I… I can’t,” she says. Pramad, furious, accuses her of still loving Saras. Enraged, he sets the curtains on fire and reveals his true colors, admitting that everything was an act.

He tells her, “Everyone will believe Saras killed you.” Kumud realizes the gravity of the situation and cries in despair.

Just then, Saras arrives (perfect timing!). He breaks down the door, sending Pramad flying across the room. Seeing Kumud trapped in the flames, Saras is horrified. Pramad attacks him, but Saras fights back with full force. Ignoring Pramad, he rushes to Kumud, whose injuries make her faint. Carrying her in his arms, he steps over Pramad and brings her out of the burning room.
