Anupama: The episode begins with Anupama expressing her frustration to Anuj, saying that she feels like she’s paying for sins from a past life.

No matter what she does, people always find faults in her. She recalls how Meenu has been like a daughter to her since birth, as Dolly entrusted her care to Anupama. She admits she often calls Sagar by Samar’s name out of habit and has always loved him.

However, she feels betrayed that Sagar chose a life partner without informing her especially Meenu, someone so dear to her. She also blames Bala Kaka and Anuj for keeping this from her.

She regrets not believing Dolly earlier and laments how everyone suddenly has something to say now. She refuses to accept the accusation that she provoked Sagar, questioning why she would deliberately cause tension between the two families.

Anuj calmly asks her what exactly is bothering her—whether it’s the fact that Sagar and Meenu fell in love without her consent or that they kept their relationship a secret.

Meanwhile, Dolly declares she has made up her mind to get Meenu married as soon as possible and won’t even consult her husband. Bala Kaka takes Sagar away while Baa warns him to stay away from Meenu.

Anuj then challenges Anupama’s views, saying that love isn’t planned—it just happens. He reminds her that their own love story also had obstacles and asks why Sagar and Meenu shouldn’t have the right to choose their own future.

He acknowledges that while older generations may have prioritized emotions over careers, today’s youth balance love, education, and ambitions. He argues that Meenu and Sagar’s love is not reckless; they have stayed focused on their goals.

Anuj insists that punishing them for not informing their families is one thing, but denying them the right to love is unfair. He urges Anupama to support them as their Anudi (elder sister figure). Anupama hesitates but finally places her hand on his.

Sagar, meanwhile, asks Bala if Anuj will be able to convince Anupama and whether she will sever ties with him. Outside, Toshu and Pakhi mock Sagar, revealing that they’ve already created a matrimonial profile for Meenu and have selected suitors for her.

They try to provoke Sagar by showing him the profiles, and he angrily snatches their phone. Toshu taunts him, saying that his love for Meenu won’t matter because Anupama will never let them marry.

However, Sagar insists that Anupama’s decision is final, and he will abide by whatever she decides.

Anupama withdraws her hand from Anuj’s grasp. When he asks why, she explains that supporting love is easy, but convincing a family is difficult.

She doesn’t believe Dolly is entirely wrong every parent has dreams for their child, and if Dolly wants Meenu to marry a successful doctor, it’s understandable.

Anupama has always stood by love in the past, whether for Kinjal-Toshu, Samar-Dimpy, or Adhik-Pakhi, but she believes Meenu and Sagar won’t be happy if they marry against their family’s wishes.

Anuj counters by asking whether forcing Meenu into an unwanted marriage would truly make the family happy.

He acknowledges that Dolly has rights as a mother, but Meenu should also have the right to decide her own future. Anupama argues that family is crucial, citing how she and Anuj didn’t simply move on when Aadhya opposed their relationship.

She insists that without family support, Meenu and Sagar’s marriage won’t be fulfilling. Anuj says they can only try to make the family understand, but ultimately, the decision rests with Meenu and Sagar.

Meanwhile, Dolly and Baa scold Meenu. Dolly is furious, questioning how Meenu could fall for someone like Sagar, who lacks wealth, education, and a prestigious family background. Baa expresses similar concerns, adding that their family’s reputation is at stake.

Meenu, however, fires back, arguing that their so-called respect in society was already ruined when Mamu (her uncle) eloped with a fortune and was disowned. She points out that their family is only surviving thanks to Mami.

She also challenges the notion that love marriages fail, questioning if her parents’ arranged marriage has truly been happy.

She insists that if happiness exists in her destiny, she will find it with Sagar otherwise, no rich or successful man will be able to give it to her.

Dolly is heartbroken, saying she never expected this from Meenu. Meenu warns that if they don’t understand her love, she will disappear like Aadhya once did.

Anupama changes the subject, but Anuj surprises her with a sudden proposal. He tells her he wants to marry her immediately, admitting that while Aadhya dreams of a grand wedding for them, he can’t wait any longer.

He quickly apologizes for being so direct but repeats his proposal asking her to become Mrs. Kapadia again or make him Mr. Joshi.

Meanwhile, Pakhi and Toshu gloat about how they exposed Meenu and Sagar’s relationship. However, Kinjal overhears them and scolds them for their actions. She warns Toshu that his past behavior makes it easy to believe he could stoop this low.

Toshu tries to brush it off, but Kinjal tells him that even though Anupama is heartbroken right now, she will eventually uncover the truth. She urges them to change their ways before it’s too late.

Back at Anuj and Anupama’s conversation, Anupama questions the need for marriage at their stage of life. She fondly recalls their past marriage and cherishes those memories, but she doesn’t see the necessity of remarrying. She compares them to Radha and Krishna, saying their love doesn’t need a formal bond.

Anuj, however, insists that he wants a complete relationship with her. He doesn’t want anyone questioning their love and believes they deserve the happiness they once missed out on.

He tells Anupama that he never wants to be separated from her again and is ready to embark on the journey of life together, hand in hand.
