Jhanak update Wednesday 9 April 2025

Jhanak: The episode begins with Jhanak taking a flower, and the pandit expresses concern about her health, asking if she’s feeling better. Jhanak reassures him that she’s fine. He tells her that once her husband recovers, she can visit him for Darshan. She responds that she will pray for him and leaves. Choton remarks that everyone seems to ignore Anirudh and doesn’t care about him, adding that Anirudh is their son too.

Shubh interrupts, insisting that Anirudh is his son. Bablu scolds Shubh, while Aditya sarcastically comments on their dramatic behavior, saying that the city isn’t their personal property and Jhanak has every right to be here. Bipasha mentions that she spoke to Arshi, who still refuses to believe Anirudh’s condition is serious, suggesting it might all be a drama. She taunts Aditya. Bablu confronts Bipasha, asking if she thinks that the doctors and everyone else are in on a conspiracy. He tells her to go speak with the doctors if she doubts their sincerity.

Aditya steps in, saying that the best cardiologist is on the case, and while Anirudh’s condition is critical and the operation is risky, they must have patience. Jhanak arrives, calling out to Choton. She finds the group gathered and is immediately confronted by Shubh and Tanuja, who begin shouting at her. Shubh accuses Jhanak of being at fault. Bablu demands that Shubh prove his accusations. Jhanak confidently responds, saying she’s not afraid of anyone and that she can handle her own problems. She asks what they all want from her.

Lal orders Jhanak to leave the hospital immediately. Aditya challenges him, asking if the hospital is his personal property. Lal retorts that he has no interest in conversing with Jhanak. Aditya declares that he will always support the right side. Bipasha, mocking, says that of course, Aditya would support Jhanak, since she is his girlfriend. Jhanak defends herself, stating that Anirudh is her husband and no one can change that fact. Tanuja, in disbelief, denies this, but Jhanak asserts that she came to the city because her husband needed her. She adds that it’s God’s will for them to be together. She then declares her intention to touch the flower to Anirudh’s forehead and states that she can’t remain in the hospital any longer.

Meanwhile, Appu feels sad thinking about Anirudh and is comforted by Lalon. Appu asks if Lalon is leaving for work, and Lalon confirms he has a meeting with his client. He talks to Appu about the Durga Puja lights and shows her pictures of the event. He promises to take her to see the pandal soon. Appu asks if Lalon will punch her as part of the high-five gesture, and he assures her it’s just a fun greeting.

Back at the hospital, Shubh tries to stop Jhanak and calls for hospital management. A staff member suggests calming down, and a lady explains that Anirudh was admitted on time, or else he might have been lost. She says they can’t let anyone interfere with his care. Shubh insists that Jhanak isn’t part of their family. The doctor arrives and updates everyone on Anirudh’s condition, explaining that although the best cardiologist is treating him, the operation is risky, and his condition is still unstable.

Jhanak pleads to see Anirudh, but Tanuja refuses, insisting that he is married and his wife is coming to see him. She accuses Jhanak of being mentally unstable, believing she is still married to him. Jhanak denies being mentally unstable and says that she went away from her husband once, but they couldn’t take care of him, and now she has returned. She claims that Anirudh is her husband, and only hers. She sobs as she speaks.

Bablu tells Choton to take Jhanak inside, suggesting a miracle might happen. Shubh tries to stop her once more. Jhanak angrily asks how he dares stop her. She tells him she respected him because he is Anirudh’s father, but he no longer deserves her respect, calling him a cheat and a liar. She chastises him for his behavior. Meanwhile, Jhimli tries to feed Appu, who is still upset, and asks Lalon not to leave. Lalon gets good news over the phone, excitedly dancing. Appu asks if Anirudh is coming back, and Lalon looks at her with uncertainty.

Aditya intervenes and suggests calling the police, supporting Jhanak’s desire to perform the puja. Shubh dismisses the idea, but Bipasha insists that Jhanak cannot go inside. The flower falls to the floor as Jhanak declares that they haven’t insulted her, but they’ve insulted Devi Maa. She picks up the flower and prays, hoping they regret their actions for the rest of their lives. Bipasha angrily demands to know how Jhanak dares to speak to her that way, while Tanuja urges them to take action against Jhanak. Choton, however, argues that there’s nothing wrong with Jhanak wanting to touch the flower to Anirudh’s forehead. Aditya supports Jhanak, recalling a previous incident where a similar puja had a miraculous outcome for Jhanak’s recovery. Shubh dismisses it as a joke, but Aditya insists he has witnessed the miracle and believes in it.

Tanuja refuses to let Jhanak go to her son, and Shubh orders Lal to call the police. Choton taunts him, while Tanuja demands he leave. The hospital staff tells everyone to go to the visiting room, and the doctor announces that Jhanak cannot go inside. Jhanak begs them to let her in, promising to leave the city if that’s what it takes. Tanuja scolds Jhanak and pushes her away. Jhanak falls, and both Aditya and Choton express concern. Jhanak declares that she had begged them, but since they didn’t listen, she must now use her strength. She grabs a trishul and threatens them.

Tanuja sees the divine power in Jhanak and grows fearful. Jhanak warns them to get out of her way. She eventually puts the trishul down, picks up the flower, and scolds them one final time. They stand there, shocked, as she walks away.

Meanwhile, Jhimli and Lalon continue talking to Appu, who seems happier now. The nurse tries to stop Jhanak, but she insists on seeing her husband. The nurse calls her behavior dramatic, but Jhanak responds that she has come for her husband and will not be stopped. She threatens to use the trishul again if needed. The nurse hesitates and tells her that Anirudh’s wife is someone else. Jhanak, however, argues that appearances can be deceiving and convinces them to let her enter.

Inside, Jhanak recalls her marriage to Anirudh as the doctor urges her not to excite the patient. He assures her that they are doing everything they can to save him.
