Saras and Kumud

Saras and Kumud: The episode begins with Kumud lying on her bed, reflecting on Saras’s proposal. She smiles shyly, hiding her face, when she hears the sound of wind chimes. Turning around, she sees Saras standing there. Surprised, she asks what he’s doing there at this time. He draws her close, and she mentions it’s late and if anyone sees them. Saras reassures her, saying, “Let them. Saras and Kumud are together, and we’re about to be married. Why would anyone have a problem with that?”

The music Mann Ke Dor plays as Saras touches her face and offers her some sweets. He asks if she’d like to have some, but she refuses. He persists, pulling out a chocolate, teasing her that he has many ways to make her eat it. He touches her face and playfully applies chocolate on her skin, leading to a romantic moment between them. They share an intimate stare, getting closer, and Saras gently touches her lips. She closes her eyes, and he leans in closer, asking, “Now tell me that you love me.” Kumud smiles and playfully runs away, saying she won’t say it. Saras vows to keep asking until she does.

The next morning, Kumud is smiling as she reflects on the previous night. She receives a call from Saras, who asks what she’s been thinking. She responds, not understanding what he means, and he reveals that he spoke with Badimaa, who’s about to talk to the pandit. Kumud inquires about the discussion, but Saras teases her, suggesting she should know what he’s talking about. Kumud says she’s headed to school, asking where he is. He mentions he’s going to the city for a couple of days but promises to return soon. He cheekily tells her that until she admits her love for him, he’ll continue teasing her.

Meanwhile, Guniyal is preparing Kumud’s favorite food. Badimaa speaks with the pandit about finalizing the date for Kumud and Saras’s wedding. Kusum sees a piece of jewelry in the newspaper and dreams of Danny buying it for her. Yash jokes about feeling sorry for Saras and Danny, while Vidyachatur plans to make the wedding royal. Kumud, however, insists on a simpler celebration. Kusum, on the other hand, is excited and wants to experience every ritual of the marriage, especially since she didn’t have much of a wedding of her own.

At school, Kumud receives a visit from Saras, disguised in a Punjabi outfit as Katar Singh from Patiala. He introduces himself, claiming that Kumud is as beautiful as a lotus, and she plays along, asking if he’s there to donate to the school. He flirts with her, and Kumud grows slightly uncomfortable, suggesting they meet the principal. Kalika, overhearing their conversation, fumes with jealousy, planning to outshine Kumud before she gets everything.

Later, Saras, still in disguise, offers Kumud coconut water, and they share a moment of lighthearted banter. He praises her for her work in the school and cheekily tells her that love grows stronger when shared—like their coconut water. Kumud, feeling awkward, says the kids are waiting for her and walks away. Saras, in his usual playful style, calls out after her, claiming she’s beauty with brains and humor.

Meanwhile, Danny, freshly bathed, expresses his admiration for Kusum and helps her get ready. He tells her that he’s been thinking about her all night and wants to grow closer. He kisses her hand, and Kusum, touched by his affection, begins to cry, realizing she’s never been loved so deeply.

Later, Kumud talks to Saras, sharing details about Katar Singh and his flirtation. Saras, pretending to be jealous, warns her that he’ll keep coming after her. Kumud defends Katar Singh, calling him a man with a clean heart. Saras teases her, asking if she’s in love with him, and Kumud challenges him, suggesting that if another man said “I love you,” she would kill him. Saras laughs and ends the call, humorously noting that Kumud’s “Methi La Laddo” has gotten sweeter due to her growing love for him.
