Soulmate update Monday 21 April 2025

The conversation between Akash and his father unfolds when Paresh questions his son about why they slept on the roof instead of in their room. Riya struggles to explain that it was simply their choice to spend the night in a tent.

Renuka scolds Akash for abandoning the room that she had worked hard to prepare for him, reminding him to prepare Riya for life in this family or else the peace of the household will be disturbed again. Akash promises to take care of the family.

A few hours later, Mamta arrives at the Deshmukh household and expresses her anger towards her daughter for staying in this family. She insists that Riya should return to their own home.

Renuka is stunned by Mamta’s decision but Mamta defends herself, stating that it’s impossible for Riya to receive the same comforts she had in her childhood here. She criticizes the Deshmukh family for not even giving Riya a room of her own, and insults the entire family by comparing them to a lower middle class household. Mamta also ridicules Paresh’s child planning.

Meanwhile, Sachin overhears the argument and becomes furious. He lashes out at Mamta, warning her to stay within her limits or face the consequences. He tells her she has no right to insult his father.

Mamta responds by comparing Sachin to a thug who doesn’t know how to behave. Sayali supports her husband’s stance, making it clear that Mamta’s words are intolerable. Mamta insists that Riya should leave with her, leaving Akash confused by the situation.

Paresh steps in to mediate, trying to resolve the conflict. Mamta brings up Riya’s struggles, but Sachin counters by reminding her that his father has suffered for her daughter but never allowed Riya to endure hardships in the house.

Riya, feeling ashamed of her mother’s behavior, apologizes to everyone. However, Sachin refuses to apologize to Mamta, unwilling to stoop to her level. He storms off angrily.

Despite the tension, Riya reassures her mother that she is happy to be a part of this family, and the family members try their best to make her feel comfortable.

Later, Sachin recounts the incident to a friend, still seething with anger at Mamta’s insulting words.
