Anupama update Friday 2 May 2025

The episode begins with Baa taunting Ishani, saying she acts like a heroine and a celebrity, but backed out when it was time to prove her talent. Pakhi tries to calm her down.

Dolly comments that they’re all upset because the opponents won, noting that Ansh, Pari, and Ishani are out, while Mahi, Prem, and Rahi have advanced to the finals. Toshu sarcastically asks what kind of good luck Baa gave that their side lost. Baa defends herself, insisting she shouldn’t be blamed.

Pakhi says Baa’s prayers must not have been heartfelt. Kinjal adds that Anupama’s prayers were more powerful. Toshu says even Lord Krishna listened to Anupama, not Baa. When Baa questions why they didn’t pray themselves, Toshu jokes that Baa should have even scolded God.

Pakhi says they were busy, so it was Baa’s responsibility to pray sincerely. Dolly brings up the dilemma who will Anupama pray for now, Mahi or Rahi? Toshu says Anupama won’t support Rahi, since if she wins, she’ll go back to Dwarka. Kinjal adds that Anupama will still feel defeated if Rahi loses.

Baa says they should go watch Anupama lose. She admits that if Ansh, Ishani, or Pari had reached the finals, they would’ve gladly attended. Pakhi and Toshu decide to back Mahi, hoping for financial gain. Kinjal believes Mahi would give any money to Anupama. Dolly suggests they manipulate Mahi.

Meanwhile, Rahi is seen hanging a dupatta as she prepares her performance outfit. Anupama sees the dress fall and quickly catches it. Aadhya arrives and wrongly assumes Anupama tried to ruin it.

Aadhya confidently declares she’ll win the competition, take the trophy and the ₹10 lakh prize, and leave. She says her bags are already packed. Anupama is hurt by her words. Prem notices Anupama’s sadness.

Later, Baa, Pakhi, Kinjal, Toshu, and Dolly gather around Mahi. They apologize for their earlier anger and express support for her victory. Pakhi assures Mahi they’ll cheer for her. Kinjal apologizes for lashing out.

Toshu says Mahi is like Pari to them. Baa says Rahi and Prem are outsiders, but Mahi is family and if she wins, she’ll distribute sweets proudly. Mahi is touched. Anupama observes all this and feels sad that Mahi’s craving for love is being exploited.

Mahi bumps into Rahi. Aadhya scolds her for not looking where she’s going. Mahi fires back, saying it’s Rahi’s habit to blame others. They argue. Mahi says she longs to call Anupama “Maa” and be her daughter, but Rahi keeps creating distance.

She wishes Rahi would just leave, bringing peace to Anupama’s life. Rahi says she’ll leave after winning. Mahi says she’ll win and give Rahi the prize money to help her go. Rahi refuses charity, insisting she’ll win without anyone’s help. They challenge each other fiercely.

Rahi later finds Ansh playing a piano app on his phone and nervously asks if he’ll support her. Ansh coldly refuses, reminding her that she only ever saw him as a competitor. He says she makes and breaks relationships as she pleases and that he’s not like Anupama, who forgives everything.

He accuses her of creating pain and says the entire family, including him, will now support Mahi. He says Mahi brings joy, while Rahi brings pain, and offers to personally drop her at the bus stop. Rahi walks away in tears. Ansh also tears up.

Rahi, feeling unwell, takes medicine in the cowshed. Anupama arrives and says she wants to talk. Rahi starts counting down to the finals. Anupama offers her a ghungroo (anklet bell) that her father, Anuj, had given to her, saying it holds his love. She gives one to Rahi and says the other is for Mahi—both daughters are equal in her eyes. Prem overhears the conversation. Anupama tells Rahi she can wear it as a sign of her father’s blessing.

Inside, Mahi asks Anupama if she gave Rahi the ghungroo. Anupama gently takes out the second one and hands it to her too. Everyone watches as Mahi becomes emotional. Anupama explains that both girls are important to her, and she has prayed for both.

She says only their performance will decide the outcome. Pakhi quietly says she has other plans. Prem tells Anupama that Rahi will wear the ghungroo. Anupama hopes this means Rahi is beginning to warm up to her and asks Prem to go rest.

That night, both Rahi and Mahi hold their ghungroos. Anupama notices the turbulent weather and wonders why such a storm is here. She finds Aadhya outside and says both daughters think she favors the other. She reflects that no matter who wins, she will still be blamed. Suddenly, she sees the cowshed roof collapsing toward Rahi and runs to shield her, taking the weight on her back. She recalls a young Choti running toward her in the past. Rahi remains asleep.

Anupama supports the broken roof against the wall. When Rahi wakes up, she is surprised and asks what happened. Anupama lies and says the storm came, so she took the cow inside. She urges Rahi to go sleep indoors. Rahi thanks God for saving her, noting that the final is tomorrow. Anupama, despite her pain, keeps it to herself and doesn’t tell anyone what happened.
