Anupama update Wednesday 7 May 2025

The episode begins with Toshu angrily throwing Rahi’s belongings out of the room. Kinjal tries to stop him, asking why he’s taking out his anger on Rahi’s things. Toshu explains his frustration, stating that despite working hard for years, he still only has the status of an employee.
He had hoped to take control of the company after his mother, but instead, Rahi has been given the power. He kicks Rahi’s items in frustration. Rahi arrives and asks why he’s throwing her things, while Kinjal points out that Toshu has worked hard to handle the company, yet Rahi, who hasn’t even completed her education, has become the owner.
Toshu warns Rahi that she won’t last in the company. Rahi calmly tells him to resign if he doesn’t like it. He tells her to leave, but Anupama steps in, telling Toshu that Rahi won’t go anywhere and asks him to return the items to their place. Rahi calmly places the bag in Toshu’s hand. Toshu refuses, and bitterly tells Anupama to throw him out the same way she threw Pakhi out. Kinjal tells Anupama that Rahi will ruin the company, accusing her of making a huge mistake.
Anupama starts picking up Rahi’s belongings, and Rahi tells her she’ll do it herself, but Anupama stops when she finds a drawing. She gets emotional, asking if Rahi has kept the drawing safe all this time. Rahi takes the drawing and leaves.
Pakhi returns home, and Baa tells her to come inside. Ishu runs to Pakhi and hugs her, and Pakhi asks Anupama if she’s happy punishing her. Anupama responds that Pakhi still hasn’t learned from her punishment and asks if Ishu told her about the condition she had to meet.
Anupama insists that Pakhi apologize to Rahi if she wants to come inside. Pakhi refuses, but Anupama tells her to leave. Ishu urges Pakhi to apologize, calling it a small moment of embarrassment. Rahi arrives and tells Pakhi to apologize first. Pakhi reluctantly says sorry, and Rahi asks her to say it again. Pakhi repeats her apology.
Anupama says this apology is acceptable to her, but not to Rahi. Pakhi and Ishu go inside, and Rahi whispers something to Pakhi, leaving her shocked. Pakhi then throws Toshu’s things out, and Toshu demands to know why she’s doing this. Pakhi says Rahi told her to do it. Rahi adds that it’s business protocol and tells Toshu to keep the account files ready.
Prem decides to make a cake, hoping to improve the atmosphere at home. As he sees Rahi drinking water, he imagines her as the center of his thoughts, seeing her in various scenarios. He’s surprised by how much he’s thinking about her, even though he finds it strange.
Then, Pari arrives and asks if he’s making a cake. Prem says yes, and Pari mentions that Rahi won’t eat it. Prem insists they’ll make her try the cake somehow. Pari expresses sympathy for Rahi, stating that Pakhi wronged her, and that Rahi deserved the trophy, as Mahi isn’t as good a dancer.
Prem agrees but tells Pari she can’t say that to Mahi. Pari leaves, and Prem writes “Raahi” on the cake. When he answers a call, the “R” accidentally smudges off.
Later, Mahi enters the kitchen, and Prem wonders if she’s the one who took a bite of the cake. Mahi thinks Prem made the cake for her and says it’s good. Prem, happy to know she liked it, thinks that Rahi might have passed his affection to Mahi.
During dinner, Baa asks Rahi to go outside because of the paint smell. Kinjal agrees and says she can’t stand it either. Anupama tells Rahi to go outside and continue whatever she’s doing there. Rahi complains about mosquitoes outside but Baa jokes that they’ll drink her blood instead. Rahi responds with a more sinister line about wanting to “burn everyone’s blood” and unveils a new sign she’s made reading “Anu and Rahi Ki Rasoi” (Anu and Rahi’s Kitchen). She hangs it proudly on the pillar. Anupama realizes that the kitchen was originally named after her, but Rahi plans to erase her name.
Rahi continues to challenge Anupama, claiming that she will soon change the name to “Rahi Ki Rasoi” as she begins to take control. Anupama, holding the aarti plate, does her customary prayer to Kanha Ji for protection. Rahi expresses disbelief, but Anupama remains calm.
The next day, Rahi continues her efforts to take charge of the kitchen, telling the staff she will supervise the work and revise their salaries. Toshu objects, but Anupama explains that in business, customer trust is the priority over profits. Rahi counters that profits are more important, as the house can’t run on trust alone. She criticizes Anupama for not using Toshu’s skills properly and claims she would have used them to take the business further.
Prem, in the kitchen, thinks about the cake and wonders why Rahi hasn’t commented on it yet. Mahi, meanwhile, agrees the cake is good, and Prem smiles, relieved. Rahi reflects on the pastry and wonders whether Prem made it. She feels she should keep him in her company.
Later, Mahi and Anupama discuss the cake, and Anupama reveals that Pari, Ansh, and Baa had eaten it. Janki Behen and the workers come in, and Janki Behen is shocked to see the kitchen’s new name. Rahi explains that she’s in charge now and will revise salaries.
Toshu, Anupama, and Mahi overhear her. Toshu challenges her, but Anupama explains the importance of customer trust and that business can’t reach great heights in a day. Rahi asserts that profit is the most important thing, and she will not compromise on quality.
She insists she will change the rules, claiming that as a 50% partner, she has the authority to do so. Anupama stands firm, refusing to change the rules or roots of the business, but Rahi argues that until Anupama leaves, they will not see profit. Anupama counters that she sees more blessings than money, and no matter the situation, they will not sell their self-respect.
