Saras and Kumud update Thursday 8 May 2025

The episode begins with Yash’s mother being shocked to see Kalika. Kalika quickly hides the gold set when she notices her. Yash’s mother, suspicious, asks what she’s hiding. Kalika denies it and says there’s nothing to worry about. She then asks why Yash’s mother is so angry and demands to see her hands.

Kalika replies sarcastically, asking why she’s being interrogated. Yash’s mother tells her she’s searched every room except Kalika’s. Kalika sarcastically suggests that Yash’s mother should search her room too, assuring her that if she doesn’t find anything, she’ll trust Kalika even more. Kalika takes some clothes, hiding the gold set within them, and leaves.

Meanwhile, some goons tease Ghuman as she walks down the street. A man stops her, and she glares at him angrily. When she attempts to slap him, the goons stop her and begin misbehaving. Danny sees Ghuman and rushes to her aid, and soon Yash and Danny begin fighting the goons. During the chaos, Kusum steps in to protect Danny and falls. Vidyachatur is hurt by the goons in the commotion.

The goons capture Danny and threaten him with a sharp knife. Everyone looks on in horror as they prepare to stab Danny. Ghuman and Kusum are visibly shocked. Just then, Kabir appears, saves Danny, and fights off the goons. The goons flee. Ghuman asks Danny if he’s okay, and Vidyachatur thanks Kabir for rescuing him.

Danny expresses his thanks to Kabir and notices that Kabir is injured. Kabir reassures him that he’s fine. Ghuman questions Kabir’s presence, and he responds that he stays at a nearby hotel. Vidyachatur invites Ghuman to stay with them, but she insists on staying with Danny at his house. Vidyachatur agrees. Kabir suggests that Danny come to his room for a quick dressing of his wounds.

Meanwhile, Saras and Kumud are at the hospital. Saras asks Kumud if her head hurts or if she has eaten anything since morning. He expresses concern for her well-being, reminding her to eat on time. Kumud smiles as he promises to bring her something.

A woman in the hospital observes them and comments that their relationship must be a love marriage. Kumud confirms it, and the woman shares that hers was as well. Saras receives a work call and leaves to attend to an emergency. The woman jokingly remarks that after marriage, men tend to forget about love, to which Kumud replies that Saras is different.

Saras returns with a sandwich for Kumud, offering her medicine as well. Kumud shows the sandwich to the woman and smiles. Back at Danny’s place, Ghuman is fine, and Vidyachatur praises Kabir. Kabir humbly replies that he’s just happy to help. Kusum attends to Danny’s injuries as Ghuman watches Kabir from a distance. Ghuman leaves, and Kabir watches her walk away. She notices his paintings and exchanges a few words with him before leaving. Kabir smiles and tells her to take care.

At home, Vidyachatur advises Danny to take care of Ghuman, and Kusum expresses concern about Ghuman’s worry for Kaka. Danny expresses how much he’ll miss Kusum. She snaps a photo of them together, telling him to smile. She reassures him that they’ll always be together, even if apart. They share a heartfelt hug, and she sends him off.

Saras arrives at Laxminandan’s house, where the nurse asks him to keep his distance. Saras apologizes and touches Laxminandan’s feet, seeking his blessings. Saras sits quietly, feeling the weight of their strained relationship. Kumud notices Saras’s sadness and asks him about it.

He reflects on how he and his father have never been close, explaining that this disconnect has lasted since childhood. Kumud gently draws a smiley on his palm, sharing that it’s a source of strength during difficult times. She encourages him to smile, saying it will help things improve. Saras smiles and presses the smiley on her hand, agreeing that they both need this symbol of hope. They both turn their attention to Laxminandan, hoping for healing in their fractured relationship.
