Saras and Kumud update Friday 9 May 2025

The episode opens with Danny entering the house and wondering if Ghuman has already explored the room. He casually asks her if she has seen the house yet. Ghuman, visibly unimpressed, responds that she’s just arrived and needs a moment to breathe. Danny offers to tidy up the room for her. As she glances around, Ghuman becomes irritated, noticing Kumud’s presence in every corner of the house.

Meanwhile, Danny anxiously gathers Kusum’s clothes and personal items, placing them carefully in a bag. He gently kisses Kusum’s photo before stowing it away under the bed. Elsewhere, Kusum rests on Guniyal’s lap. Kalika comments sarcastically on Kusum’s return, while Badimaa expresses relief that Kumud has gone home with Saras. However, she worries about Kusum’s situation. Vidyachatur says Kusum will remain with them until Nandu informs Ghuman about her marriage to Danny.

Ghuman had initially planned to stay at a hotel, but Danny convinced her to stay with him instead. Kusum feels fortunate to remain in her maternal home. Kalika, ever the instigator, gossips with Yash’s mother, mocking the sisters’ return and predicting that Kumud will soon follow.

She criticizes their parents for not worrying about their daughters’ prolonged stay. Yash’s mother becomes agitated and questions Vidyachatur about how long his daughters will continue living there, insisting that once a girl marries, she should return only for festivals.

She warns him against spoiling them and even takes a jab at Badimaa. Vidyachatur defends Badimaa and argues that sending Kusum back prematurely could lead to greater disgrace if Ghuman refuses to accept her. Yash’s mother accuses him of endangering their futures with false promises and storms off.

Later, Danny enters his room with one of Kusum’s sarees, only to find Ghuman already there. She confronts him after spotting a bangle and the saree, questioning whether someone else lives with him. Caught off guard, Danny claims the items belong to Kumud.

Ghuman demands to know why Kumud’s belongings are in his room. Danny explains that due to an electrical issue on Saras and Kumud’s wedding night, they had stayed in his room. Ghuman sarcastically remarks that darkness entered the house along with Kumud.

At the hospital, Saras speaks to the doctor, who informs him that Laxminandan’s condition is stable. The doctor says he could remain in a coma for months or even years. Saras receives a call from Danny, who updates him about how Kabir saved both his life and Ghuman’s from attackers. Saras inquires about Kusum, and Danny replies that she’s staying at the Desai house. Saras appreciates Kabir’s help and plans to thank him personally.

Kabir, meanwhile, examines various models he has made and deliberately knocks over the figure representing Laxminandan. Just then, Saras calls him. Kabir smiles and signals his goons to come to his location. When Saras calls, Kabir pretends to be distressed, and loud noises are heard in the background. Kabir acts as if the goons are wrecking his paintings, pleading with them to stop. Concerned, Saras rushes to the hotel with Kumud alerting Danny.

At the hotel, Saras arrives and physically confronts the attackers, saving Kabir. Kabir pretends to be surprised by Saras’s sudden arrival. Saras explains that he overheard the chaos during their call. Seeing Kabir’s room trashed, Saras apologizes for the consequences Kabir faced while helping them. Kabir pretends to be distraught over his destroyed artwork. Danny and Vidyachatur soon join them.

Saras and Vidyachatur insist Kabir move in with them for safety. Kabir hesitantly agrees. When Kabir arrives at the Desai home, everyone is surprised. Guniyal welcomes him warmly and offers turmeric milk for his injuries. Saras encourages Kabir to consider their home his own. Yash thanks Kabir for his help. Badimaa praises Kabir’s values and upbringing. Kusum informs everyone that a room has been prepared for him.

Kalika, displeased, whispers to Yash’s mother that now even strangers are being welcomed into the house, reducing their home to a Dharamshala. Vidyachatur gives Kabir Saras’s old room, and Kabir insists on paying rent. When they refuse, he says he’ll leave. Vidyachatur agrees to take rent and promises to use it for children’s education.

As Saras and Danny prepare the room, they unknowingly miss the hidden miniature version of the Desai house, which Kabir secretly adjusts to place himself inside the family model. Later, Kabir calls an unknown person and informs them that he has successfully infiltrated the enemy’s home, celebrating the first step in his mysterious plan.
