The episode begins with Prem telling Rahi to come along, assuring her that he wasn’t lost in her thoughts. Rahi hops into his jeep and urges him to drive. As they are about to leave, Mahi arrives and insists on joining them. Prem tells her they’re heading to the market to buy supplies, implying she’s not needed. Mahi argues that she also has shopping to do, but both Prem and Rahi refuse to let her come along. Prem says they need space for their purchases, and Rahi teases that they don’t have time to wait for someone shopping for bindis and bangles. They leave.

Later, Anupama helps fasten a brooch onto Rahi’s kurti, saying that Rahi would get upset if she saw it. Baa walks in and comments that Anupama is doing so much for Rahi without her knowing. She says Anupama made Rahi half-owner, but Rahi is still dissatisfied. Baa adds that even if Anupama gave her life, Rahi would still say, “She only died once. If I were her real daughter, she would have died twice.” She suggests sending Rahi to Dwarka and writing letters to maintain contact, advising Anupama not to disrupt the house’s atmosphere. Anupama defends herself, saying Toshu is happy with Rahi, but Baa isn’t convinced. When Anupama asks for Vanraj’s clothes for donation, Baa refuses and offers her sarees instead. Anupama clarifies she doesn’t need clothes and says both of them have lost their children in different ways. She affirms her belief that Rahi will not leave her and that others will eventually see her true heart. As she speaks, she pricks her finger with a needle. Baa warns her that Rahi will cause her pain one day—something she claims Anupama can’t see.

Meanwhile, Rahi and Prem buy groceries for Anu Ji Rasoi. Rahi jokingly asks Prem to carry a box on his head, pointing out that work isn’t just for men. Prem is charmed once again by her boldness. Rahi confides that she wants to grow Anu Ji Rasoi into a bigger venture since many women’s livelihoods depend on it. Despite her issues with Anupama, she wants to take the business to new heights. Prem supports her but reminds her that he will oppose her if she disrespects Anupama or the company’s policies. Rahi accepts his terms with a smile.

While driving back, their heads accidentally bump into each other. Rahi insists they do it again to cancel out bad luck, citing Bubbly’s superstition. Prem teases her, and she tells him to be quiet. As he drives, he keeps thinking about her.

Back home, Mahi tells Anupama that she loves Prem. Anupama is stunned and scolds her for sitting outside during a dengue outbreak. Mahi then hugs her and says she’ll always stand by her. When Anupama asks if she plans to marry, Mahi jokes that she’ll find a husband who will welcome Anupama into their home too. Anupama laughs and wonders where such a man exists. Mahi just smiles and walks off. Anupama receives a call.

Later, Prem and Rahi return. Toshu introduces Kalpesh Bhai, a wholesaler who claims he can supply goods at cheaper rates than the market. He comments on Anupama’s loyalty to another supplier, Parag Ji, and criticizes her for paying higher prices. Toshu supports this, saying they need to reduce expenses. Rahi immediately asks Kalpesh to leave. When he insists, she warns him to stay respectful and not insult her mother. Everyone is stunned as Rahi defends Anupama openly. An emotional Anupama watches silently.

Toshu is shocked and questions her reaction. Rahi firmly says no one has the right to insult her mother, even if she herself has disagreements with her. Prem chimes in, revealing Kalpesh mixes colors in spices. Rahi threatens legal action, and Kalpesh leaves. Toshu scolds her again, but Rahi stands her ground, saying profit should never come at the cost of dignity. Anupama is moved to tears.

Rahi explains they can grow the business through better marketing, menu expansion, and promotions. She vows to achieve what Anupama couldn’t but without compromising values. Anupama is proud, realizing her daughter is finally coming closer.

Toshu later apologizes to Rahi and admits he also wants to grow the business. She agrees, but only if they maintain quality. Toshu mentions that Anupama never supported his ideas and says he’ll try again. Inwardly, he schemes to push Rahi out.

Rahi approaches Ansh for help with digital marketing and promotion strategies. He shares insights while she takes notes. Mahi, observing this, wonders why Rahi’s sensible behavior is bothering her.

In the kitchen, Anupama joyfully cooks and dances. Prem joins her. She imagines dancing with Rahi and smiles. Suddenly, Janki Behen arrives with tragic news—Shrishti has had a serious accident. Anupama and Prem rush to help.

Prem and Anupama later return with Shrishti’s young daughter, Radha. Since Anupama donated blood, Prem asks her to rest. She leaves Radha in his care. Rahi finds Radha and cheers her up, encouraging her to smile and pray for her mother’s recovery. They bond as they play and eat apples.

Meanwhile, Mahi questions Ansh for helping Rahi. He points out Rahi defended Anupama and calls Mahi judgmental. She tries to cover up her feelings, almost confessing her love for Prem, then walks away.

Back inside, Anupama tells Radha to rest and reflects on how Rahi, who has often fought her, finally defended her and called her “Maa” in front of everyone. Holding a thread in her hand, she feels that her daughter has taken the first step toward her.
