Saras and Kumud update Wednesday 7 May 2025

The episode begins with Kabir taking his leave and greeting everyone. Vidyachatur expresses concern over Ghuman’s potential reaction once she learns about Danny and Kusum’s relationship. Yash’s mother criticizes the decision, saying this should have been considered earlier. Badimaa tries to defuse the situation, saying it’s not the time for accusations. Guniyal suggests they reveal the truth later. Saras decides to speak to Danny.

Saras calls Danny and tries to reason with him. Meanwhile, Kumud is distraught, reflecting on Ghuman’s harsh words. Saras consoles her and tells her not to let Ghuman’s opinions affect her. Kumud blames herself, but Saras reassures her of her worth, reminding her that if she hadn’t brought his father back, his hatred might never have turned to love. He thanks her for helping him see his father’s affection.

As they talk, Kabir overhears them. He approaches and hands Saras a photo that had fallen from Laxminandan’s pocket while he was taking him to the hospital. Saras is surprised to see a picture of Laxminandan with Saraswati. Kabir asks who the woman is, and Saras says she’s his mother. Kabir then asks about the other woman he saw, and Saras tells him she’s his father’s second wife. Kabir apologizes for the confusion. Saras thanks him sincerely for helping his father. Kabir takes his leave, and Kumud insists on visiting the hospital despite Ghuman’s disapproval. Saras hesitates, but eventually agrees.

At the hospital, Ghuman is emotional as she watches over Laxminandan. Danny enters and she hugs him tightly, expressing her fear and concern. Danny assures her that he is fine and not alone. Ghuman blames Kumud and her family for Laxminandan’s condition and silently vows revenge. When she sees Kusum, she lashes out, and Yash greets Kusum casually, intensifying Ghuman’s anger.

Ghuman furiously demands that everyone leave, warning them not to come near Laxminandan. She threatens to show them a side of her they haven’t seen before. She questions the doctor about Laxminandan’s condition and insists on transferring him to a better hospital in Dubai. The doctor refuses, citing his critical condition.

Kumud tries to intervene, saying she doesn’t think the transfer is wise. Ghuman snaps at her, denying her status as part of the family. Kumud reminds her that she is her daughter-in-law, and it’s within her rights to care for the family. Ghuman attempts to humiliate her, but Saras steps in, firmly defending Kumud and asserting that the final decision rests with him as Laxminandan’s son. Danny also urges Ghuman to calm down and not act out of anger. Ghuman storms off.

Outside, Ghuman’s car won’t start. Kabir approaches, offering to help. She angrily questions his actions and motives. Kabir admits he didn’t know who Laxminandan was when he attacked him and apologizes, understanding the pain he caused her. Ghuman refuses his help and insults him. Kabir calmly says he’ll wait if she needs anything. When she tries to find another taxi, she sees Kabir again, now in one. He offers her a ride. Though she initially refuses, she ultimately gets in.

Back at home, Danny regrets hiding the truth from his mother. Vidyachatur advises waiting for the right time to tell Ghuman, especially while she’s upset. They decide Kusum will stay at Vidyachatur’s home for now to avoid conflict. Saras and Kumud agree with the plan. Saras tells Danny and Kusum to get some rest, and Yash is also sent home. Vidyachatur goes to check on Nandu.

Danny expresses guilt to Kusum, feeling overwhelmed by his mother’s reaction. Kusum comforts him, reminding him they’ll face everything together. Danny worries how he’ll manage when he eventually tells her about the marriage. Kusum reassures him of her support.

Meanwhile, at Vidyachatur’s house, Yash’s mother accuses someone of stealing her only gold set. Badimaa scolds her for worrying about jewelry in such a situation. Guniyal says it’s unlikely since everyone was home. Elsewhere, Kalika is seen dancing while wearing the missing gold set. Yash’s mother catches her and is shocked. Kalika is left stunned and nervous.
