Jhanak update Saturday 10 May 2025

The episode opens with Brij speaking to a lawyer. He tells him that a friend of his, who runs an ashram and is a doctor, will be getting involved in the case along with a few others. The lawyer agrees to begin working on it immediately. Brij thanks him and explains that he currently lacks the funds, but his friend has promised financial help, and he’s willing to take a loan to fight for his daughter. The lawyer replies that he has both good and bad news to share.

Meanwhile, Vinayak and Shrishti arrive home and are welcomed warmly by Shubh and Tanuja. The rest of the family, including Bablu, also gathers. Anjana asks if they’d like tea or coffee, to which Vinayak jokes that she’s always in the kitchen. Tanuja blames Anjana for firing the cook, but Choton defends her. He challenges Tanuja and Bipasha to start contributing to household chores instead of overburdening Anjana. When Tanuja accuses Meenu of influencing Choton, he proudly agrees, saying she is better educated than him. Anjana tries to calm him down, saying she’ll handle the cooking.

Back with the lawyer, he surprisingly tells Brij that he won’t charge anything for handling the case. It’s his first time dealing with such a matter, and he sees it as a personal challenge. He tells them to focus on winning and says they can discuss money later. Jhanak insists on paying, but the lawyer requests she let him take the case for free.

Elsewhere, Anjana apologizes to Vinayak, which angers Lal. He lashes out at her, and Choton reprimands him for his behavior, calling out his bias toward Shubh and Tanuja. In the heat of the moment, Anjana slaps Lal. Bipasha reacts strongly, accusing Anjana of losing control, but Anjana stands her ground, saying that as a mother, she has every right to correct her son. She scolds Lal for doing nothing financially and relying on Bablu and Choton to run the house.

Tanuja and Bipasha take Lal’s side, but Anjana warns them to stay out of her personal matters with her son. She adds that she should have reprimanded him sooner. The lawyer suggests arranging police protection if they feel threatened, but Brij dismisses the idea, insisting they’ll face everything head-on. He then begins speaking about his estranged brother.

Back home, Choton tells Lal to leave with his wife. Just then, Anirudh and Arshi enter. Anirudh demands to know what happened, and Choton directs him to ask Lal. Anirudh finds out that Lal insulted Anjana again. Lal says he’s leaving the house because of constant humiliation. Vinayak and Anirudh both call him out on his actions. Shrishti tries to defuse the tension. Arshi asks Lal not to leave, but he remains stubborn. Vinayak reminds him that actions have consequences. Anirudh agrees.

As the conversation continues, Vinayak mentions they had come for a specific purpose. Shrishti confirms. Shubh apologizes for the family drama, but Shrishti reassures him that it’s okay. Vinayak expresses his disapproval of such conflicts and then invites the family to his and Shrishti’s 25th wedding anniversary. Arshi is delighted, but Anirudh feels conflicted, silently wondering about his true feelings for Arshi and missing Jhanak deeply.

Later, the lawyer questions Jhanak about her mother, Urvashi, saying that she might have kept things hidden for Jhanak’s protection. He encourages her to embrace her identity and stand up for her mother. Jhanak agrees. Anirudh, meanwhile, expresses a strong feeling that Jhanak is still alive and might return any moment. Shrishti is shocked, but others dismiss his intuition. Vinayak then urges Anirudh to come with him, hinting at a surprise that will cheer him up.

Choton reflects on how much they all loved Jhanak and are struggling with her absence. Arshi promises to stay by Anirudh’s side, putting him above her career. Though Anirudh isn’t fully convinced, he says he’ll try. Shrishti asks Anjana and Bablu to join the anniversary party, but Anjana declines, saying she’s still mourning Jhanak and wants the celebration to remain joyful.

In the final scene, Brij tells the lawyer that he wants to give his daughter everything. The lawyer says that while he may not fully grasp Brij’s emotional depth, he promises to reveal the truth in court. Brij mentions a dance competition where Shrishti will judge, and both Arshi and Jhanak are to perform. His brother Kul Bhushan will also be attending. The lawyer says he will definitely be there, and Jhanak notes that guests are allowed at the event. He confirms he’ll be present for the competition.
