Saras and Kumud update Tuesday 27 May 2025
The episode begins with Kumud telling Kusum that Ghuman hasn’t truly accepted her from the heart. Kusum, however, defends Ghuman, saying Kumud is misjudging her. She believes Ghuman’s behavior is a result of difficult circumstances, and insists that she felt genuine acceptance from her. Kumud tries to make her understand, but Kusum refuses to listen.
Meanwhile, Ghuman offers Danny some food, saying she has packed a tiffin for him to take to the hospital. Kusum smiles, feeling things are normal. Saras notices Kumud isn’t eating and asks why. Kumud replies that she’ll eat later.
Danny tells Saras to go ahead while he finishes his work, promising to come later. He appears tense. Before Saras leaves, Danny hugs him. Saras senses something is wrong and asks what’s bothering him. Danny brushes it off, saying everything is fine. Saras reminds him he can do anything for him and asks him to share his concerns. Danny, upon receiving a message from Kabir, insists it’s nothing and changes the subject. Saras suggests they have lunch together and asks Danny to call once he’s done. Danny agrees. Saras then leaves for the factory.
Danny arrives for a meeting where a client presents fabric samples. Danny inspects them thoroughly, even testing the thread strength and burn resistance. He compliments the quality and asks for the price. After hearing the rate, he negotiates and proposes his own offer. The man agrees, saying he’s impressed with Danny’s knowledge and happy to see young talent. Danny thanks him and leaves.
Elsewhere, Kusum informs Vidyachatur that she’s heading to his house. She tells Kumud and Ghuman as well. Kumud stops her and confronts Ghuman, accusing her of trying to sabotage Danny and Kusum’s marriage. She demands to know what Ghuman was doing with Kalika and accuses her of sending Kalika dressed in Kusum’s clothes to mislead Danny into thinking Kusum met Saras at the site. Kumud declares that her plan failed by God’s grace and questions how a mother can go so far as to ruin her own son’s life.
Ghuman, now furious, admits it all. She says yes, she did everything. She adds that until she gets her son back, she won’t stop. “He’s my blood,” she declares, “You and Kusum can never be as important to him. I won’t let him waste his life in this village.” She taunts Kumud, asking what she will do now that she knows the truth. “Danny and Kusum won’t believe you. You only have Saras. If you believe in Kusum’s love, then face me on your own—without anyone’s help. Do you have the courage?”
Kumud returns to her room, thinking about Ghuman’s challenge. She decides she must tell Saras the truth—it’s about their lives. Saras enters, notices her distress, and asks her to sit down. He apologizes for being distant lately. Kumud says she understands—they’ve always loved each other, even from a distance. Saras insists she has every right to expect his time and promises to give her that. He invites her to get ready so they can go out, saying not to worry about work because Kabir has joined and will handle things. Kumud tries to speak, but Saras doesn’t let her and tells her to get ready.
Meanwhile, Ghuman meets with Kabir, who greets her with a smile. He brings good news—Danny’s first solo business meeting was a success. Ghuman, however, is disappointed. “What I wanted didn’t happen,” she says. Kabir assures her these things take time. She expresses concern that Danny is falling more in love with Kusum, and Kumud is always watching over him. Kabir suggests keeping Kumud out of the way. Ghuman asks if he can handle that. He confidently says yes, then flirts with her. She teases him, saying he’s flirting, but he insists he’s just admiring her beauty.
Kumud gets occupied with her responsibilities, and Saras leaves. Kumud receives a call from the school principal, who tells her someone has arranged a picnic for the students and parents, and there’s a handicrafts exhibition as well—it’s happening today. Kumud agrees to attend. She informs Saras, who is visibly disappointed. Kusum reassures him that she will take care of things at home. Ghuman adds that she’s also there for Kusum. Kumud tries to explain to Saras, but he says he doesn’t want to hear it. She insists it’s important. Just then, the bus driver arrives, asking her to hurry.
Kumud tells Saras to wait for her. He replies playfully, “Okay, teacher,” and then, thinking to himself, “I wish I were her student.” Kusum hears this and laughs. Ghuman, watching everything, is impressed by Kabir’s plan and thinks to herself that she’s using him well. Saras, feeling disheartened, thinks aloud, “I canceled my meeting to spend time with her, and she went on a picnic.”
Later, Ghuman asks Kusum to cut some fruit. Kusum offers to bring it to her room and tells her to rest. Ghuman then asks when Kumud will return. Kusum says she’s not sure. Ghuman reminisces about a school picnic in Danny’s childhood when Laxminandan surprised her and Danny. Kusum says she didn’t realize he was so romantic.
Kusum finds Saras upset and offers him tea. He thanks her, saying he really needed it. She suggests a romantic gesture—following Kumud in the car and surprising her with a date. Saras hesitates, saying there are children around, and it wouldn’t look proper. Kusum insists it’s a sweet idea and urges him to go. Saras finally agrees, smiles, and leaves. Kusum watches him go, smiling to herself.
