Soulmate update Tuesday 27 May 2025

The episode begins with Tejas and Roshni heading to their room. Meanwhile, Renu instructs Akash and Riya to leave. Aaji remarks that the rooms have already been allotted to them. Renu explains that since the daughters-in-law are new, they aren’t yet familiar with everything.

Sayali offers to prepare tea. Aaji calls Paresh for a discussion. Sachin observes that something seems off with Roshni, and Sayali agrees, noting that Roshni appears tense. Sachin shares the same concern. Sayali urges them not to tell Roshni anything that might make her want to leave the house.

Riya suddenly complains about a strange smell in the house. Akash explains that the smell is due to the place being cleaned with cow dung. Riya questions how the place could get spoiled by cow dung and then requests Aaji to assign them a room with an attached washroom.

Akash replies that there’s only one washroom for everyone. Riya insists she won’t be able to manage under such conditions. Aaji overhears their conversation. Akash reassures them that everything will be managed. Riya admits she has no problem staying there but suddenly sneezes, mentioning she has a dust allergy and prefers staying in a hotel. Akash says the hotel is too far and insists she manage. Aaji then shares the good qualities of village life with Riya.

Akash encourages Riya to stay and assures her she will come to like it. Riya remains uncertain. Aaji calls everyone for breakfast. Riya complains about having no mobile signal, and Akash jokes about it. Renu asks Sayali to bring tea. When Sayali brings the tea, Renu asks Roshni what her uncle would like to eat.

Roshni seems worried. Sayali asks what’s wrong, suggesting Roshni should know what her uncle prefers, but Renu stops her. Roshni replies that her uncle enjoys non-vegetarian food. Renu decides they will prepare non-veg dishes or, alternatively, some Dubai-style items like hummus and tandoori. Aaji questions if the uncle is someone special who deserves such a feast.

Renu responds that Sayali is an expert cook who will prepare everything. Aaji is surprised. Roshni says to wait until her uncle arrives and advises everyone not to stress. Renu promises to treat him well. Riya again complains about the lack of signal, and Renu suggests she check outside. She asks Roshni to accompany them and tells Sayali to carry the tea cups. They all leave.

Aaji remarks that Renu proudly carries her two daughters-in-law on her shoulders, and she wants to observe them closely now. Sachin watches some videos on his phone. Sayali calls him and asks what he’s doing. Sachin says he was watching some dance videos with Anya. Sayali asks which video, and he says it’s some agriculture-related video. She talks about her food stall. Sachin says he’ll call her later but invites her to lunch on time. After ending the call, he wonders if the news about Roshni’s uncle arriving from Dubai is true because if it is, Renu will be very happy. Anya laughs.

Aaji calls out to Renu. Renu expresses excitement about the fresh vegetables and says they will prepare the dishes before Roshni’s uncle arrives. She calls Sayali, who brings sugarcane. Renu teasingly taunts her. Aaji advises everyone to live together harmoniously and not say anything hurtful. Renu insists she does not hurt anyone. She gives Sayali a long list of dishes to prepare.

Aaji questions why Sayali has to cook all this food and suggests it’s odd. Renu explains that Sayali cooks delicious food and does as she is told since she is a daughter-in-law. Aaji reminds Renu that she is also a daughter-in-law and should help with the cooking until the Krishi Utsav festival ends. Sayali volunteers to do all the cooking, but Aaji insists Renu should come and stand behind her, guiding her. She urges Renu to cook the food herself.

Renu complains she cannot cook all the food alone. Aaji tells her to call the other two daughters-in-law for help. Renu hesitates, saying they come from big families and are unlike Sayali. Aaji insists that this is her house, and everyone should be treated equally and help out.

Renu agrees and calls Riya and Roshni. Roshni asks what is happening. Aaji tells her that Renu will cook today and they both must assist her. Akash and Tejas watch. Roshni points out that Sayali will help Renu. Aaji asks why, reminding Roshni that she had cooked food in a competition within half an hour and should be able to prepare food for her family as well.

Riya admits she doesn’t know how to cook and only knows how to boil water, joking that she’s a big foodie. Akash smiles and says Riya prefers eating rather than cooking. Aaji encourages Riya to learn cooking if she loves food so much.

Renu defends Riya, saying she works for dubbing and gets tired, so she doesn’t have time to cook. Tejas adds that Roshni works at the parlor all day, so anyone can cook. Aaji agrees. She calls Malti to bring coconut and chili for Roshni to grind. She asks Riya to sit down and chop vegetables.

Renu asks if Sayali will get to rest, but Aaji says Sayali isn’t lazy like the others and will observe how everyone works. Akash offers to cook, saying it’s his job, but Aaji slaps him and pulls his ears. She spares Tejas and warns him to leave before she beats him more, telling both boys to go and explore the village. Akash and Tejas hurry off. Meanwhile, Renu plots to show Sayali her place.
