Saras and Kumud update Saturday 31 May 2025

The episode opens with Saras and Kumud lovingly decorating the room for Danny and Kusum. Saras gently places flowers on the bed while watching Kumud with admiration. She arranges a bouquet in a vase, and Saras proudly shows her the rest of the room’s décor. Kumud thanks him with a smile. Saras says their gift will bring a fresh beginning to Danny and Kusum’s married life, then teases her, asking why she doesn’t come up with such romantic ideas for the two of them.

In response, Kumud lets her hair down, which mesmerizes Saras. He walks up to her and holds her hand as the wind flows gently around them. The atmosphere becomes intimate as the song “Mann Ke Dor…” plays in the background. Saras pins her hair lovingly, and they share a quiet, romantic moment before Kumud shyly slips away. Saras smiles to himself as “Piya Re…” begins to play.

Elsewhere, Kumud notices Ghuman heading out and grows suspicious. She secretly follows her and watches as Ghuman visits a pandit. Ghuman greets the pandit and says she wants to know the future. She hands him a donation along with her address and tells him to visit her home later and warn the family that if Danny and Kusum grow closer, an elder’s life could be at risk. The pandit agrees and asks what time to come. Ghuman tells him to arrive at 6 p.m. Kumud, stunned by what she hears, can’t believe Ghuman would stoop so low.

At the house, Dada ji tells everyone he’s feeling better and wants to return because Gyaan is waiting for him. Vidyachatur urges him to stay longer and offers to call Saras. Dada ji declines, saying his children are waiting and Saras can always bring them to visit. Yash helps Dada ji prepare to leave. Dada ji entrusts all responsibilities to Guniyal and asks to be kept updated on Laxminandan’s health. He blesses everyone before departing.

Later, Saras stops Danny and Kusum from entering their room. Danny asks what’s going on. Saras explains that he’s updating the house’s electrical wiring. Danny insists he has some important documents in there, but Saras assures him everything is safe. He’s clearly stalling and waiting for Kumud to return.

Meanwhile, Ghuman tells Danny and Kusum she’s glad they’re there, as the pandit is about to arrive. She says she called him to ask for spiritual guidance and blessings for their happiness. Danny is touched. Kumud returns home just in time. Ghuman notices her and grows uneasy. Saras spots Kumud and tries to approach her, but Danny distracts him by showing Kusum’s gift. Saras compliments the gesture.

Kumud goes to her room, thinking about the slip of paper where she wrote down exactly what she overheard Ghuman telling the pandit. She plans to show it to Danny and Kusum before the pandit can mislead them.

Elsewhere, Badimaa gets emotional as she thinks about Gyaan, Chandrika, Kumari, Kusum, Kumud, and Dada ji, remembering the warmth of family.

Soon, Ghuman welcomes the pandit. But to her shock, the pandit says the complete opposite of what she instructed. He blesses Danny and Kusum, saying their relationship will thrive and they will soon be blessed with a child, which will strengthen their bond even more. He then quietly tells Ghuman that someone else asked him to change the narrative. She’s left confused, wondering who could have intervened.

Kabir appears, revealing that he’s the one who stopped the pandit from carrying out Ghuman’s plan. He reminds her that Kumud had overheard her and would’ve exposed everything. If he hadn’t intervened, Danny might have turned against her. Ghuman insists she can handle the situation herself but confesses she’s more concerned about the night ahead, which could deepen Danny and Kusum’s relationship. Kabir assures her he’ll handle it and cryptically adds, “Let the night pass… the morning will belong to us.” Kumud secretly watches them, shocked by their conversation. Ghuman walks away, and Kumud wonders about the real connection between Kabir and Ghuman.

Kumud gets a call from Saras. She tries to tell him what she knows, but he’s distracted, saying Danny and Kusum are delighted with the room. He asks her to meet him at the hospital. Kumud hesitates, unsure of what to do. She reflects on how Saras hadn’t believed her before and fears he won’t believe her again. She simply says she’s heading home.

Meanwhile, Ghuman fumes, frustrated at how fortune always seems to favor Kumud. She realizes she has no choice left but to rely on Kabir.
