Soulmates update Sunday 1 June 2025

The episode begins with Sayali showing Roshni’s uncle to Sachin via video call. Sayali mentions that Riya suspects he didn’t come from Dubai. Sultan, pretending to be hurt, says, “My leg is broken.” Aaji asks him to remove his glasses. Sultan takes them off and says, “I can see everything clearly now,” but Sachin sarcastically responds that he sees nothing. He ends the call, and Sayali puts the phone down. Sachin comments that they’ll figure it out when they get home. Sultan, upon seeing the house, remarks that it looks old-fashioned. Renu agrees, saying it’s an ancestral house that they plan to demolish and renovate, which earns a scolding from Aaji.
Aaji defends the house, saying it’s a temple to her because it’s her husband’s ancestral home. Sultan acknowledges this and tries to console Roshni, who is visibly worried. He asks her about her father, but Roshni lies, saying he is no longer alive. Sultan exaggerates, claiming that Roshni’s father had sent gifts for everyone. Renu asks Sayali to bring a plate, but Renu, acting as if she doesn’t know where it is, refuses. After a brief argument, she goes to get the plate.
Sultan, still in character, tells Tejas to come closer and compliments him, prompting Roshni to signal him to keep it in check. Sultan then claims that Roshni’s father sent an omelette for Tejas, only for Roshni to correct him and say it’s a bracelet. Sultan jokes that only Roshni understands his humor, but she’s clearly stressed.
Meanwhile, Sachin and Anya return home and notice Sultan’s odd behavior. They go inside, where Sultan shows off the bracelet. He invites everyone to join, calling Renu “Kaku,” which she finds amusing despite her being “11-12 years younger.” She thanks him, boasting about her looks. Sultan continues to make exaggerated jokes, mentioning that Roshni’s father asked him to bring 100 plates for her husband. When questioned about the single plate, he claims he couldn’t find 100 people to hold 100 plates. Sachin insists Sultan will get pizza and burgers instead, to which Sultan humorously responds, “No, I meant visa!”
Tejas, confused, asks Sultan if he means “visa,” and Sultan, thinking quickly, compliments Tejas for being sharp. As the conversation shifts, Sachin grows suspicious and asks Sultan his name, pointing out that Roshni never mentioned it. Sultan stumbles, thinking of what to say, before asking Sachin to call him “Chacha.” When Sachin questions him further, Roshni hastily steps in and says his name is Kiran, despite the confusion over it being a feminine name. Sultan awkwardly goes along with it, and Roshni claims it’s a common name.
Sachin then asks about Roshni’s father’s name, to which she answers, “Deepak.” Sultan grows more curious and, after some small talk, asks who Sachin is. Paresh introduces Sachin as his son, but Sultan’s comment about him being a “drunkard” offends both Sachin and Sayali. Roshni quickly apologizes, urging Sultan not to misunderstand. Renu, trying to ease the tension, suggests they offer Sultan coconut water first.
As Sultan reacts to the hot weather, claiming Dubai is much cooler, Riya quickly corrects him, stating that Dubai is known for its intense heat. Sultan then claims, “I sell goats here,” followed by a quick joke, which lightens the mood. Riya, however, presses him, asking where exactly he stays in Dubai, to which Sultan dodges the question, saying only, “I live in Dubai.” Riya, growing more suspicious, asks for more details, but Sachin starts to notice Roshni’s growing tension. He begins to feel something is off, as Roshni remains quiet, lost in thought.
