Anupama Update Monday 2 June 2025

The episode begins with Rahi singing the song Pehla Nasha and joyfully confessing, “I am in love.” Anupama enters and asks if she hasn’t slept yet. Rahi replies she hasn’t. Noticing Rahi’s back pain, Anupama offers to massage her using a rolling pin (belan). Rahi sits down, and Anupama starts gently massaging her back, acknowledging how hard she worked in the kitchen that day. Anupama then mentions that Prem has returned and asks if Rahi has heard the news. She describes Prem as a kind person but says she senses a hidden pain in him that he hides from everyone, visible in his eyes despite his efforts.

Curious, Anupama asks Rahi what she thinks about Prem. Startled, Rahi drops the roller, and Anupama cautions her to be careful. She urges Rahi to speak her mind about Prem. Rahi admits that initially, she didn’t like him, but as she got to know him better, she realized he is truly a good person. She contemplates confessing her feelings to Anupama.

Anupama then opens up, saying she wants to share something important. She speaks about the possibility of Prem becoming part of their family as Mahi’s husband but stresses that before that, she needs to talk to Prem about his thoughts and feelings, especially since Mahi is deeply in love with him and very determined to marry him.

She expresses concern because Mahi’s life has been difficult—she never received a father’s love and lost her mother early on. Mahi was raised by Anupama, who always supported her and never scolded her for her studies. Anupama wonders if she should talk to Prem about Mahi, fearing that if Mahi gets hurt, she will be devastated.

Rahi’s eyes well up with tears, feeling shocked and emotional. Anupama apologizes for burdening her and explains that she is speaking from her heart because she can’t confide in Pakhi. She points out that since Rahi and Prem are friends who have known each other well, she values Rahi’s honest opinion about whether Prem would be a suitable life partner for Mahi and if he can fill the emptiness in her life. Rahi embraces Anupama, her tears falling onto Anupama’s hand. Anupama asks why she is crying and encourages her to be honest and share what’s on her mind.

Meanwhile, Prem accidentally slips while sleeping on a carton and notices a voice message from Rahi on his phone. He is hesitant to listen but is interrupted when his phone suddenly switches off. As he tries to charge it, the power goes out. Back inside, Anupama asks Rahi if something is troubling her. Rahi smiles and says these are tears of happiness because love is blossoming. She reflects on destiny and karma, saying if anyone has ever separated two lovers or undervalued their love, they don’t deserve to experience love themselves.

Anupama is confused by her words, and Rahi explains that such things happen nowadays. She recalls how Kanha ji gave her a mother (Anupama), but it’s not her destiny to have Prem. She believes Prem is an incarnation of Kanha ji, and whoever wins his heart will be like Radha. She says she will be like Meera, watching Mahi become Prem’s beloved.

Anupama thanks Rahi and hugs her, expressing her worry for Mahi. She recalls how, when Rahi wasn’t around, Mahi clung to her for comfort but still never had a complete mother figure because Anupama was often distracted by her thoughts. Rahi assures her that Mahi will receive the love she deserves. She reminds Anupama of a time when she was asked whom she would choose, and Anupama said Mahi—and Rahi agrees with that choice. Anupama admits her fears and says she will choose both daughters. Rahi insists Anupama should talk to Prem.

Meanwhile, Prem gets an electric shock while fixing a fuse and prays to Kanha ji not to punish him with more shocks.

Rahi expresses her determination to talk to Prem, and Anupama worries if he might refuse. Rahi confidently says he won’t refuse her. She worries they might get dehydrated and offers to bring water. Anupama suddenly remembers she forgot to ask Rahi something while discussing Prem and calls her back. Rahi mentions she wanted to talk about Radha’s school but then sees Mahi upset, eating chocolate. Feeling overwhelmed, Rahi steps outside the house and cries, eating more chocolate.

She confesses silently, “I love you, Prem… I love you so much, but I can’t tell you, or Mummy, or Mahi. I won’t tell even you.” Prem arrives nearby but doesn’t notice her. She thinks about the voice message she sent him and then deletes it. Later, Prem charges his phone and notices the voice message has been deleted. He wonders what she had said that made her delete it and falls asleep sitting there.

Rahi watches him sleep and cries silently. She wonders how to erase this love from her heart. In his sleep, Prem whispers, “I love you, Rahi… I just love you. I’ve seen the love in your eyes for me. I know you love me; why don’t you say it?” Rahi reflects that first love often leads to the first heartbreak and muses that if Krishna and Radha didn’t get their first love, who are they to expect theirs? She apologizes to Prem in advance for whatever she might say or do.

The next day, Prem changes his clothes and tries to calm his heart not to feel pain, wondering what Rahi might have said in that deleted voice message.
