Jhanak update Monday 2 June 2025

The episode begins with Tanuja accusing Anirudh of ruining Arshi’s life. Lal urges Anirudh to reconsider his actions. Anirudh defends himself, saying that Arshi isn’t bound to him and is free to leave if she wishes. However, Shubh argues that Arshi will never leave him, as she is their bahu, and their relationship will remain unbroken. Anirudh counters, stating that if she isn’t with him, it’s her choice. Lal suggests that everything could be resolved if Anirudh changes his decision. Anjana, trying to calm things down, asks Anirudh to eat, but he refuses and leaves. Shubh and Bablu continue to argue, while Dadi intervenes, telling them to stop. Shubh insists that Anirudh cannot insult them like this, while Choton taunts Arshi.

Meanwhile, Kajal brings grocery items for Anuradha, and Lalon expresses his frustration about losing his job. Kajal insists that she is just helping as a friend, not out of any obligation. Appu informs them that the contractor has absconded with Lalon’s money, and they are now in financial trouble again. Jhanak urges Brij to hurry as they are getting late. Brij questions if she’s scared, but she reassures him that she is not. He encourages her not to be afraid and assures her that the truth will come out. Brij reminds Jhanak that Anirudh is someone who loves her and that she should not turn her back on him.

At home, Anuradha worries about the food situation, saying she has bought fish for Appu as she needs to take medicine, but they cannot afford to feed everyone properly. Appu asks if she can eat alone, and Jhimli, feeling neglected, complains. Kajal defends Appu, while Lalon and Anuradha try to console Jhimli. Brij is touched by Jhanak’s care and affection for him. She promises to take care of him, and they plan to leave for Mumbai, where Jhanak’s friends live. When Brij stumbles, Jhanak offers support, but Brij brushes it off, saying it’s just a bit of leg pain. She insists on staying by his side, and they make their way out.

At the court, Debashish presents Jhanak as the final witness. Shubh immediately challenges her credibility, pointing out the inconsistency in her documents. However, Debashish argues that legal documents don’t change the truth: Jhanak is the daughter of Shrishti and Brij. Debashish then asks Jhanak to recount what happened the day she went missing from the shoot. Jhanak explains that a production assistant told her that Anirudh had fallen down the stairs, and she rushed to his house. However, during the ride, the driver took a different route. She soon realized the driver was Tejas, and when she questioned him, she was taken to a remote location near a lake. She was then sprayed with something that caused her to lose consciousness, and after that, she remembers nothing.

Shubh mocks her story, questioning how she survived. Jhanak defends herself, stating she’s telling the truth, and scolds Shubh for mocking her. Shubh claims to have another witness— the production assistant who was with Jhanak in the car. He accuses Aditya of trying to kill her, claiming that Aditya knew Jhanak would blackmail him and ruin his career, which led to him pushing the car into the river.

Debashish calls the production assistant, Anurag, as his next witness. Shrishti becomes agitated, insisting that they are framing her. Vinayak, on the other hand, says he wants Shrishti to face the consequences of her actions. Meanwhile, Jhimli gets upset and leaves. Appu is seen crying, and Kajal notes that Jhimli’s behavior has changed. Lalon tries to calm her down, but Anuradha asks Appu to eat, as she worries about her daughter’s health.

When Anurag is questioned by Debashish, he admits that he couldn’t refuse when Tejas approached him with an offer, especially as his child was sick. Anurag reveals that Tejas had planned everything, and that Shrishti was also involved. Shrishti vehemently denies his claims, and Shubh demands proof. Anurag asserts that he has proof, but Debashish points out that criminals never admit their wrongdoings.

Anirudh, seeing that the witness has agreed to testify, comments that this trial could be crucial for everyone involved. Brij, sensing the importance of the moment, wonders where Kul is. Anirudh agrees, noting that the decision today will be pivotal in determining the outcome.
