Saras and Kumud update Tuesday 3 June 2025

The episode begins with Danny deciding to confess everything to Kabir. While driving, he is stopped at a police checkpoint and becomes anxious. As he tries to turn back, an inspector approaches and asks for his name. They inspect his car and find a suitcase containing drugs. Danny insists the drugs aren’t his and tells the inspector he was on his way to explain everything. Despite his protests, the inspector declares their intelligence was correct and arrests Danny. Distressed, Danny breaks down in tears.

Meanwhile, Kumud grows worried about Danny’s whereabouts. Saras arrives home, and before she can say anything, he receives a call from Danny, who informs him that the police have arrested him. Kumud is shocked and immediately informs Saras. Saras is stunned by the news. Ghuman questions how this could happen since Danny had supposedly gone to the factory. Saras speaks to Danny over the phone, checking if he is okay. Danny insists he’s innocent and explains that he started the project Saras had discouraged, but was deceived and drugs were placed in his samples. Saras expresses frustration at Danny’s reckless decision. When the police confiscate Danny’s phone, Saras calls back and demands to speak with him, but the inspector refuses, saying Danny is in lockup and unreachable. Saras insists he needs to go to the police station.

Angry at being kept in the dark, Saras confronts Kabir over the phone. Kabir apologizes and admits there is a serious problem. Saras demands to know why Kabir didn’t inform him about the project. Kabir explains that he wasn’t aware Danny had kept Saras out of the loop. He reveals he has identified the man responsible—someone connected to the police—and warns that losing track of him will make rescuing Danny difficult. They agree to alert the authorities. Saras instructs Kumud to head to the police station while he goes after the culprit. Ghuman overhears and insists on coming along.

Meanwhile, Ghuman calls Kabir, furious at his role in framing Danny for drug possession. Kabir urges her to trust him, assuring her that Danny will be free by evening. Ghuman reluctantly calms down, still uncertain of Kabir’s motives. Saras arrives at a cottage where the suspect is hiding. The man flees, and Saras pursues him. The fugitive calls Kabir, claiming to have completed his task. Kabir promises to get him out of jail soon and brings the man to the police station. Kumud and Ghuman watch anxiously.

Kabir identifies the man as the one who planted drugs in Danny’s bag. The man admits to trapping Danny and taking photos to blackmail him before being arrested. Danny is then released from custody. Ghuman embraces him. Danny asks where Saras is, and Kabir says Saras should be with him but reassures Danny, acting as a brother figure. Ghuman reminds Danny that Saras is busy and hints Kabir is the real support. Danny feels saddened. Kumud explains Saras went after the culprit, but Ghuman claims Kabir brought him in to avoid involvement. She praises Kabir for being a true stepbrother. Danny reflects on Saras’s words as Ghuman vows to do everything to keep Danny free without involving Saras. Danny glances at Kumud before leaving with Ghuman and Kabir.

Ghuman reassures Danny not to worry, as Kabir saved him. Saras returns home happy to see Danny but is stopped by him. Ghuman smiles knowingly. Danny tells Saras to stay away. Saras asks what happened. Kusum arrives and inquires. Danny explains that he was arrested after drugs were found in his bag but is upset Saras didn’t come to bail him out. Kusum is shocked, wondering why no one informed her. Danny angrily questions Saras’s loyalty, feeling betrayed. Saras tries to explain, but Danny is unwilling to listen.

Saras explains his side of the story, but Danny sarcastically applauds his excuses, accusing Saras of not caring. Danny insists Kabir was the one who saved him and demands to know why Saras never showed up when he was scared and alone. He confesses he always felt safe with Saras, expecting him to understand and protect him. Saras embraces Danny, and the brothers share a tearful moment. Danny asks why Saras acted this way if they are supposed to be like Ram and Laxman. Saras urges Kumud to speak. Danny snaps that Saras is just his stepbrother and tells Kumud to stop. Ghuman watches on, pleased. Danny then tells Ghuman and Kusum to pack their bags—they’re leaving.
