Jhanak update Thursday 5 June 2025

The episode begins with Anirudh and Jhanak rushing Brij to the hospital. Jhanak desperately talks to her father as the doctor examines him. Anirudh anxiously watches the machines, signaling Choton. He asks Jhanak to listen to him, feeling tense. Jhanak cries, pleading for Brij to open his eyes, and says she can’t live without him. Choton reassures her, saying they’re there for her. Jhanak turns to the doctor, asking for hope, but the doctor sadly informs her that Brij has passed away. She is shocked and heartbroken, unable to believe it. She cries, repeating that her father can’t be gone.

Choton tells Jhanak she will stay with them, but Bablu worries it could cause more problems. Jhanak, in despair, blames the people who killed her father. Anirudh promises to bring justice to whoever did this. However, Jhanak responds, saying that no amount of justice can bring her father back. She continues crying, devastated by the loss.

Meanwhile, Vinayak confronts Shrishti, accusing her of trying to kill Jhanak. He reminds her that everything is now exposed and warns her that she will face consequences. Shrishti pretends to be shocked, dismissing the accusation. She claims that Brij’s death is not her fault and mocks Vinayak’s concern.

At an event, Lalon and Appu perform. The host praises them, and Kajal goes on stage to speak about Lalon’s life, defending him. Appu smiles proudly. Anirudh, trying to console Jhanak, urges her to come with him and take action for her father’s justice. She refuses, saying she can’t leave Brij’s side. Anirudh insists, explaining that her father’s responsibility was entrusted to him, and he will do whatever it takes.

Choton suggests they carry out the necessary post-mortem to ensure justice for Brij. Jhanak is reluctant, unable to bear the thought of it, but Anirudh convinces her, promising that the process is necessary. She finally agrees.

Back at the hospital, Anirudh tells Jhanak that they can do the last rites after the post-mortem, which will take two days. He urges her to go home, but Jhanak insists on staying by her father’s side. Bablu tries to persuade her to come with them, but Jhanak refuses, saying she cannot stay in their house. She insists that she must go back to her own home.

Arshi calls Anirudh, asking when he will return. Anirudh dismisses her, saying he doesn’t have time to entertain her right now. As he hangs up, he turns back to Jhanak, who expresses her deep fear of losing more loved ones. Choton reassures her, saying they will protect her and ensure nothing happens to her.

Jhanak continues to resist leaving, clinging to her memories of her father. She says she doesn’t want to go anywhere else and just wants to stay at her home with Brij’s memories. Anirudh, understanding her pain, promises to stay with her and assures her that she has no other choice but to let him help. He gently holds her hand, vowing never to leave her side.
